Allegra watched Flint's little show. She wasn't interested - she could smell the delicious blood of a healer from a mile away. Plus, leaving a conversation with a group of friends to commit suicide didn't make sense. She knew he would be okay, but Rhiannon's hysterics made her want to burst out into laughter. However, it was better to wait for Flint to work his magic. She couldn't ruin the climax for him. Allegra turned to Adruin, shaking her head, "You're not being rude. I'd say dying in the middle of a conversation is ruder." She chuckled and gestured to Flint's mangled body on the ground. "I can't believe you're the son of Raphael. My clan has spent centuries tracking down angels and the like. I probably come from eviller blood than you do." she grimaced and looked down at her feet.
Allegra blushed. "I'm more of a swordsman anyway...," she glanced at the skull at the hilt of her sword. Adruin cut in before she could continue. The way he introduced himself set her off edge - he seemed to demand both attention and respect. She was unsure of whether the title, "evil angel" was like hers, a biological label and a matter of fact, or self proclaimed. She extended a hand to him, smiling, "I'm Allegra, vampire. Nice to meet you. I don't want to offend you or anything, but isn't 'evil angel' and 'earthly guardian' kind of contradictory?" It didn't seem right to her that someone could be evil and be a protector of the earth.
This isn't godmodding, but I think we shouldn't just establish a hierarchy of power without discussing it. Two people have basically just said, "you're strong but i'm strongest" ("dragons being way higher than vampires on the hierarchy" "hell fire being most potent form of fire"). You shouldn't just be able to declare such a thing.
Allegra could feel Rhiannon's eyes on her. There was no use trying to hide now, she might as well introduce herself. The dragon had begun a fire show of sorts. I know a thing or two about pyromancy.... she smirked - "a thing or two" was an understatement. The dragon's power was dazzling nonetheless. Allegra didn't know how to change the color of her flame. Perhaps he could teach her. She descended to the ground, being careful to stay out of direct sunlight, and removed her hood, revealing tousled lavender locks and striking blue-red eyes. "Excuse me..." she cleared her throat, "Hello. My name is Allegra, pureblood vampire and pyromancer. I'm sorry for failing to greet you earlier," she turned to Alex, "but you're very impressive." Allegra's face suddenly reddened to a deep scarlet. "That came out wrong, I'm sorry. It's just, your scales are so beautiful and you're the first dragon I've ever met that isn't trying to kill me and your flame is just magnificent." She had never gotten the hang of meeting new people. As far as she knew, people always saw her as a social pariah. Being a vampire, nobody ever wanted her friendship - they just didn't want to become food.
@solamelike: There is nothing wrong with being on Allegra's menu; I assure you, its a rewarding experience for both parties. XD

@Argetlam350: I think both of our characters are the only ones who have been students here for awhile (since it seems that everyone established themselves as new students) so in my next post I'm gonna just say that Allegra knows Zaccar and Lucatiel but they've never had a conversation. Is that okay?
Allegra has been watching the sunrise for 57 years, 3 months and 14 days. Fifty seven years ago was her last encounter with her clansmen. Allegra was in a snowy trench, bloody and weak, when she felt the sun on her skin, draining the life force out of her like a leech. It was then that she discovered how vibrant the sunrise could be, how it could feel like hope and despair all at the same time for a vampire like her. Since then, she made it a point to wake up early to watch the sunrise, to rekindle the day inside her.

This morning was no different. Aside from the arrival of some new students, the world was at peace. She reached into the fridge for her breakfast - a small glass jug filled to the brim with a thick, dark red liquid. It felt like slime down her throat but tasted better to her than any other gourmet meal. Allegra grimaced and put the jug back in the fridge. She reached for her thick velveteen cloak; it was a family heirloom and enchanted to protect her from the sun. I can't believe it's still intact... she thought, remembering back to all the times she had to fumble to escape for her freedom. Allegra grabbed her backpack, slung her sword over her shoulder and stepped out, closing the door behind her.

The arpeggio of her footsteps echoed along the stone walls as she left the tower. She was itching to find something to do. I could go back to the library and finish that anthology on Shakespeare's relationship with the supernatural... she mused, but before she could finish the thought, she already knew she didn't want to spend this beautiful day cooped up in the library. Allegra kept up her studies for her personal interest, but she hated being indoors, in the dark. Even if she was told she belonged in the dark, it was suffocating. It reminded her of living with her family.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a howl from outside. Oh? she thought, curiosity peaking, and in an instant, she was outside, watching the shapeshifter change. The only dragons she had ever met were dead or trying to kill her. She wanted to get a good view of this. In another instant, she was balanced in a tree several meters away, documenting the moments as the fog thickened and dissipated.

What stood before her, or rather, from a distance, was a large dragon. He was extraordinary. She felt as though the light reflecting off his scales alone were enough to knock the wind out of her. Wow...
wOW ok i call top floor XD

Edit: My first IC post is up - I kind of just assumed everyone was outside since I could only skim the posts. Also, my time zone is Eastern Time and I really hope someone else lives in a similar time zone bc i really hate having to catch up with everyone the morning after.
I feel so behind - 5 pages of reading to catch up to. ;_;
Also, I don't know if I'm too late for this, but can I request a single bedroom in a tower? (I don't know if location matters, just wanted to ask)
Edit: I would like to take you up on that synopsis offer.
Name: Allegra Carlisle
Age: 265
Species: Vampire.
Appearance:
Powers: Semi-immortality and regenerative healing, enhanced strength, speed and senses, flight, hypnosis, pyromancy.
Bio: Allegra is a pureblood vampire of the one of the world's oldest and most violent vampire clans. She spent the first century of her life living in secrecy, studying languages, history and various types of magic. Although she never participated in her clan's activities, she was often horrified by their misdeeds, which included desecrating entire villages simply for amusement. Her father expected her to take on the title of regent after he retired, but Allegra refused. She ran away and traveled from place to place seeking refuge from her clansmen until she found the Supernatural High School.
Additional info:
- Weaknesses include sunlight (although not fatal, they weaken her vampiric abilities), burning and religious symbols.
- Her preferred weapon is the sword depicted in the image. Her sword is infused with pyromancy and enhanced durability.
- Over time, Allegra developed a cold, apathetic exterior to avoid unnecessary entanglements (since she never stayed in one place for long). However, she is extremely mature, kind and logical. She relies on her powers of hypnosis in situations where deception is necessary, otherwise she is honest to a fault.
- Although Allegra is very powerful, she prefers to avoid conflict.
