New character due to reasons. Kaguya is scrapped.
*Name: Felt Blanchimont

*Universe: Atelier Iris 2

*Appearance:

*Personality: Suffering from Chronic Hero Syndrome, Felt finds it very hard to ignore anyone in need of help -- including people who tried to kill him not long before. He's pretty much an all-around nice guy, optimistic and trusting to a fault. To be fair to him, he did spent most of his life in a isolated pocket universe consisting of exactly one town, one temple and a couple of Mana Lands, so it's not like anyone had ever betrayed his trust yet. Still, he can be a bit naive.

*Powers/Skills: Felt is an Alchemist. What this means in his universe is that he can destroy certain objects to reduce them to their base building blocks (mana, lowercase. The uppercase 'Mana' refers to elemental spirits instead), then use said building blocks to make something else. For example, plants would be reduced to Wood and Water mana, which can then be used to create potions and such.
In addition, he[1] can also make certain magical items like potions, providing he has the right ingredients and a base recipe to work with. Depending on what ingredients are used, the effect of the item can change, ranging from a higher damage/healing power to allowing a single-target item to hit a group. In order to be able to use mana to create an item, Felt has to go through this process first.

As for actual combat skills, Felt is pretty experienced with the Azure Azoth, a mythical weapon comparable to Excalibur in the sense that only the chosen one could pull it out of the stone, and then only when the time was right. See the Equipment bit for more details.

*Equipment: Felt's weapon and main way of attacking is the Azure Azoth, a magical weapon with a mind of its own[2.2]. Sadly for said sword, it cannot in any way move on its own, instead being completely dependant on the wielder. It does grant the wielder several abilities that would be flatout impossible with a normal sword though, ranging from a (weak) medium-long-distance energy slash to a self-buff.

Aside from this, Felt also has access to a couple of magical items from the start. These include:
- Healing Herbs: A low-level healing item, modded to affect a small circle around the initial target.
- Heal Jar: A mid-tier healing item. Although this only affects one character, it heals far more than the Herbs.
- Flare: A low-level fire-elemental bomb. It doesn't do much damage, but can be thrown from a distance and does splash damage.
Felt also has an item called the Share Ring[3], one half of a pair of magical rings that allows the two wielders to share their inventory. Viese, his adopted orphan sister, has the other one. However, whatever magic has brought them to this place and prevents them from just leaving is also stopping this from working.

*Others:
[1] Technically, the game where Felt is from divides this ability between the two main characters, the other one of which is Viese. In-game, Viese is the only one who can actually make these items from ingredients, though both of them are able to create them from mana. For the sake of convenience, I'm fusing these two abilities into one character. Similiarly, I also cut out a few rules that normally come with the in-game alchemy system. If that's not acceptable though, I can still change that.
[2], [2.2] As in, the sword can speak, has its own personality et cetera.
[3] I mostly added the Share Rings because it's pretty much the most important item to Felt himself, arguably even more so than his weapon.
So, is this okay? I may have forgotten a few things that I'll add/edit later on, but I'll notify people when this happens.

Could you please use Kaguya? It means the exact opposite of fun, because the roleplay has to take a backseat to focusing on one character. And because you didn't ask first, the exact characterisation of their relationship would be in limbo.

Okay... It helps that you actually asked this time and put reasons why you feel like that, though. Honestly, the initial flat no got me more confused and even frustrated than willing to listen to you.
Anyway, I'll think of a new character. Consider Kaguya scrapped.

Seriously, what's with you guys and suddenly putting out ten posts in the span of two-ish hours XD?

*sigh* One day they'll understand....one day, *manly tear*

Hopefully that day will not be the day of their death. I mean, sure, they'd have learned not to trust GM, but knowledge like that isn't all that useful when you're dead.
Eh, at least the survivors would then be able to learn from the poor victim's demise, so that's something? :P

Points for speeding up the process?

Is a cookie good too? *holds out a chocolate-chiped cookie*

3000 atk/300 def. Go on Books you can win!!!Also I'm just kinda wondering about the whole powers thing, how does that work? :TDo we just go HEY PRESTO HAVE A POWER or is there a sort of system thing to it?

Simple version: You know that age-old adage of "You can do anything as long as you believe in it"? That applies here. Literally. Muse just said that Callum had Avatar-like powers in the hope that that would trigger the belief in said powers.

If I have this right, the inverse also holds true to some extend. That is, if you have no reason to believe that you are not able to do something, you'll be able to do it. Right, Kaga?

EDIT: Also, the BEWD has 3000/2500 in terms of stats. But eh, sidenotes.

If I haven't yet used the nickname "Snow Lion" IC, remind me to do so in the future.

As far as I can recall, you haven't. Of course, my memory is not perfect, but eh. One way or another, I'm too lazy to dig through 18 pages worth of IC posts :P
So, random thought I just had.
Books has blue eyes and (sort of) white skin. She's also -- understandably -- not acting all that nice at the moment. In fact, one might even compare her defensive behaviour to a dragon...
Blue eyes...
White...
Dragon...

:P
I made a smallish edit in my most recent post, mostly to keep with the insane character.
"Thanks!," the Sprite said, carefully lowering the mixture of fluids into the bucket. She then moved said bucket in a nearby corner so that people wouldn't kick it over by accident and create another mess. After this was taken care of, she joined the rest of the group at the table they'd picked out. Soon afterwards, Gabriel came back from whatever task he felt was necessary in the kitchen. A short conversation later, the halfling bard asked if anyone wanted to hear a story. "Ooh, I do!," Lily chimed. "But only if it's a good story, though. ...Also, I'm fine too, how about you?"
