On a far more serious topic: You may or may not have heard, but a Boeing 777 passenger plane crashed near the Ukrainean/Russian border on its way to Malaysia. It was most likely accidentally shot down by pro-Russian separatists, who thought they were aiming at a military transport plane. The death toll: all 283 passengers plus all 15 crew members. totaling at 298 lives lost. Most of said passengers were Dutch (at least 154 of them; At the moment of writing this message, the nationality of 47 victims is still unknown.). I... I'm just really glad that I don't know anyone on that flight.
"...Roleplayers?," Leon echoed. "Like, someone who plays a role? Don't we all fit that description though? I mean, when was the last time you've been truly honest about yourself to your surroundings? I bet you have some pretty dark secrets too. Right, GM?," he turned back towards his new master for a moment before continuing his comment. "In fast, I bet everyone here has some secrets. For example... Your name, Blue-eyes blonde dragon!," Leon called out as he turned back towards Books, pointing at the poor girl in question "It must be something really embarrasing, otherwise you would've telled us already. Hmm... Let me guess. Is it Kaiba? No, that doesn't make sense. Ooh, I know! It's Jiminy Billy Bob!" Leon nodded as he said that, apparently very pleased with himself for such a stroke of genius.

I look forward to the inevitable discussion about people's weapons in the future.

What, like this?

Medieval guy: "What's that" *points at a modern rifle*
Modern guy: "It's a gun."
Medi: "What's a 'gun'?"
Modern: "Uhm... It's a sort of weapon. Point it at someone you don't like, pull the trigger, boom, they're dead."
Medi: That's magic! Witch, witch! Burn the witch!
Modern: "Oh, for the love of..."
So... Apparently that... being had drawn them in here to play some kind of game of life and death? And whoever won would be granted a wish, whatever they wanted to. Well, Felt already knew what he was going to wish for; the safety and restoration of Eden. Of course, in order to do that, he'd have to win first. Which meant that he might very well have to take the lives of other human beings, all of which were here against their will too. Although their motivations were obviously not known to Felt, he assumed that none of them had any evil in their heart, no matter how ominous some of them looked. Yet, only one of them could get a wish, if the man was telling the truth. Going by the fact that said man had apparently warped the very fabric of reality in order to bring them all here, there was no real reason for Felt to assume otherwise though. As such, there was only one thing he could do...

"I'll do it." the Alchemist walked forward from his lookout spot. "I'll play your game if that's what it takes. One qestion though: You mentioned that this 'game' will take 21 days. Will we actually be gone from our own world for that long? Or will we, when we 'snap back', end up right where we were when we were there?" Although Felt hadn't really expected to solve the mistery of Eden's sudden partial destruction, losing 21 days would not be a good thing either...

Basically, far as I understand, he doesn't grant wishes persay. He just alters probability so that what you wish for happens. And then reality kicks in. So presumably, he's at a point where manipulating the probability of success for a life extension isn't possible anymore

But, according to quantum physics, the probability of anything happening is never zero. Sure, it might be as low as 0.000...1%, but that's still not zero. Therefore, it should be possible according to the wording :P (Blame this on me loving Evil Genie/Corrup-A-Wish games)
So, wait, we can wish for literally anything, right? In that case, I wish for the Viewer to become truly immortal, regain all of his energy and fulfill everyone's wishes :P
"But...! ...Okay," the Sprite sighed. "Let's go outside then," she softly said as she got up from her seat. She still didn't feel comfortable about just walking away when Gabriel and Kenneth were so obviously in a bad situation, but the others did raise some good points. Staying inside wouldn't help anyone anyway, not to mention that it would only attract unwanted attention to them too. That is, if there was even a single person in the entire town that didn't hear Gabriel's boisterous shouting.

In light of some recent character signup mishaps, I'm gonna say that I'm cool with people signing up as Akibaranger Characters.

Same here. Unless your character is extremely closely related to felt (Like, say, Viese or such), you can do whatever you want. If your character is that closely related, just PM me so that we can talk things out, okay? ^_^

[snip] Question, was Elu*get's killed before saying a spoiler* i mean, the Azoth that snarky?

He was in my memory. Also, remember that this would be way at the start of the game, so the two haven't bonded or anything yet. The Azoth was quite a ruthless jerk at the beginning of Atelier Iris 2, not much better than the main villain of the game.
For the record, I don't have any problems with people using other characters from Atelier Iris 2. Just contact me so we can work the details out if they're really closely related to either Felt or 'the Azoth' (Like, say, Viese or 'Him' (no, not the devil from Power Puff Girls.)) Anyone else is fair game. In fact, that's part of the reason why I made him be taken so soon, so that other people would be able to use other characters without problems.
"But... What about Gabriel? " Lily asked. She felt bad just leaving one of the persons that had saved her life so shortly before behind. It just felt... wrong. "We're not just abandoning him, right? That's not right. He saved me... . " That said, even Lily could sense the building tension in the room. Maybe it was time to leave. the Sprite knew that her mind would not be able to stand a repeat of the events that had decimated her party. "..I really don't want to, but... We don't have a choice, do we? Tell me if we have a choice here."
