Poor kole...

Hey, at least Kole doesn't need to suffer anymore, unlike the people who are still alive. Death can be quite a blessing in certain times, you know? Especially when the alternative is a life of constant fear and possible agony >_<.
Merk, sorry for not posting yet again, guys. I'll be sure to get something out tomorrow >_<
So... I just read up a couple of recent posts, then noticed something... interesting in Cal's latest post (even though that one has been from at least a week ago. Don't judge me!)... Seriously, if anyone manages to survive this RP and escape, he/she/they will need so much therapy >_<
So... Even though it's already been decided that Whitney will live, I'd still like to put my two cents out as well.

Considering the circumstances and the possibility of character development, I'd actually prefer it that Whitney would die. Not only does this make far more sense considering the fact a giant legendary dragon is spewing evil gas everywhere, it would also have a far bigger impact on Felt, Vash and probably a couple of other characters who I can't be bothered to remember and would make for a far more interesting story/future plot points. I mean, sure, the GM decides in the end, but I'm still putting this out here :P.

CELEBRATE, DO A DANCE! RUN UP A WALL! RUN DOWN A WALL!

Also, get someone to make a video of you while you're doing this. Then edit said vdeo for insurance fraud when you inevitably break something.
Felt smiled, momentarily ignoring the remark made by Sorin. Right now, he was just happy to see that the Pokémon Trainer was calming down again. Hopefully this time she would stay that way for longer than five minutes... Now that she actually was calm though, he didn't really know what to say to her. Instead, he just squeezed her hand once.
"Yes, let's go," he said, nodding at the Gym Leader before releasing her hand. This was getting out of hand way too fast for the alchemist's liking. To be honest, he wasn't really sure if he should just take Whitney down the mountain before the entire party turned on itself, or try to douse the fire now that it was still smouldering. Honestly, the former felt quite a bit more inviting, considering how easily the skeleton was slain; Felt really wasn't intending to follow the sap any time soon. Either way, whivhever he would end up choosing, he would have to pick soon; if the fighting would actually start, it would be too late to run.

...Of course, a giant dragon smashing down quickly changed his priorities towards simply surviving. Dear Lilith, that beast was fast, far faster than anything of its size had any right to be. And considering the fact that the creature quite literally breathed poison -- or at least some kind of horrible smoke stuff --, trying to stay at a distance would be just as lethal as close combat. Running away would not be an option either... That only left the middle ground, staying at a medium range and going for swift slashes, all the way keeping himself between the dragon and Whitney. He would not back out on his promise so short after making it. Without even thinking about it, the young swordsman cut off a piece off of his clothing and threw it at Whitney. "Keep this over your mouth," he spoke. "It should help against the smoke. Can your Pokémon withstand it for a bit?" Not awaiting an answer for now, Felt turned back at the very potent threat, waiting for an opening before dashing at the overgrown reptile and slashing at it.

Well, that arm is... spoilers as a result of spoilers, and the weapon is supernatural.

In other words, magic. Got it :P.

Yes it is [ Neo's notes: Link won't copy properly]

How does he even lift that thing, let alone with one hand?! That's more ridiculous than the Buster Sword >_<
^...That is one large weapon O_o.
And there she goes again. Maybe he should've lied to her, saying that the skeleton man had simply driven off by himself? ...No, that wouldn't have worked. It would only be a matter of tme before she found out by herself, after which she would likely never trusted him anymore. And even if she wouldn't, the girl still needed to realize that just how dangerous this place was if he wanted to protect her.
It was strange. As powerful as the creatures she was using could be, Whitney herself really was still a child, at least as far as mentality went. Just what kind of world could allow for someone like her to not be horribly killed on the streets? Of course, Felt's own homeworld was very peaceful too, but with how potentially dangerous alchemy could be, people did tend to grow up pretty fast.
Not that it mattered at this moment though... Gently, Felt took Whitney's hand, then spoke up. "Whitney, look at me. I won't die, okay? I promise you," he smiled, trying his best to comfort the girl. "Nor will anyone else. So there's no need to cry, okay? Okay...?," he continued softly, his thumb softly stroking the Gym Leader's hand in an attempt to soothe her.
As a result of focusing so much on Whitney, the young alchemist had heard very little of the cat's bout of exposition. Ah well, he could always ask someone else.
