Merk... Stupid muses, leaving me when I need them. Come back here and give me inspiration!
Psst. The German word for wolf is stll wolf :P
Go go paranoia! Everyone, in the entire mansion, with every weapon!
On their way to the kitchen, Leon tried to make a mental list of the things he thought they might need. Obviously, the most important thing was water. They would need at least a 1.5 litre bottle each; any less and they would go thirsty. Next on the list would be food, non-perishable if at all possible. Finally, a knife could also come in handy, assuming they would find one in the first place. Not that he really knew how to use one efficiently, but it was better than nothing.

As soon as they entered the cafetaria, however, a loud thump interrupted Leon before he could even say a single word. Surprised, he quickly turned towards the source of the sound, which was apparently some guy who was crawling out from under a table. What he was doing under that table in the first place?
Said surprise only grew larger with the man's choice of words. guests? Could it be that this was the bored psycho? But if that was true, then why would he just appear right in front of them, apparently unarmed and in such a vulnerable position? Unless, of course, things weren't quite as they seemed...
On the other hand, Euclid had appeared in a somewhat similiar way; vulnerable, unarmed and even wounded. So maybe he shouldn't be quite so fast to judge. Not to mention that Rose knew quite a lot about this place too... What if she was in on it? After all, the only two places he had seen up until now was a strange city and this area, the latter of which was so unknown to him that he had to take her word for everything. Then again, she hadn't really done anything to cast real suspicion on herself, other than reluctance to leave from what she says is a safe location...
Well, the least he could do was make sure not to turn his back on the man, and try to get some information out of him. "Wait, what do you mean, 'guests'?" Leon asked the unknown man. "And who are you, anyway?"

I've never met a boy named Jacklyn.... I introduce myself as such as Jackie is for both genders, and to clear up any confusion.

Eh, I've seen more than one occasion where a girl got a boy's name, or vice versa. The fact that I work at a bookstore, and per extension see/read tons of different names -- both realistic and less so -- helps a lot in this aspect though. Either way, with all the silly names some parents give their children these days -- no harm intended to anyone who feels he/she has a silly name -- you're bound to have at least one person with a name that seems more fitting for the opposite gender.
<Jonathan>
"'Sorry?' Is that all you can say? That you're 'sorry'? You, you, I you..." Unable to find the right words, Jonathan simply shook his head, then turned back to his daughter. Giving up on trying to shake her awake, he instead pulled her into his arms, gently rubbing his hands through her long, now very real hair. "Come on, Lily," he said, his voice cracking with all kinds of emotions. "I know you're in there. Please, come back to me..." He didn't notice either Simon or the person following him, let alone what the latter whispered, instead being fully focused on Lily.
<Lily>
Meanwhile, in the pocket dimension that's Lily's mind, the two girls were still wondering what was going on. That is to say, Popoi was wondering what was going on, while Lily was just flatout freaking out. Then again, it's not like you can blame a girl for freaking out when the world has suddenly changed into a black void, completely deprived of anything and everthing sans yourself and a talking rabbit-thing that's not even supposed to exist.

Wait... that voice. It was hardly audible, but it was there. A male voice, calling out to 'Lily.' As if struck by lightning, Lily instantly looked up. Daddy? Where are you?! She jumped to her feet, looking around agitatedly and obviously more energetic than a short while ago.

Popoi, meanwhile, started to feel weak and sluggish, sleepy even. With each passing second, it became harder for her to keep her eyes open. No, she couldn't fall asleep here; not in this world of darkness. Who knows what would happen then? Would she ever wake up again? No, she HAD to stay awake!
<Simon>
Simon slowly shook his head. Another innocent kid had been dragged into this mess, this one even younger than the guy that had phoned him earlier this day. How could could she possibly be? 8, 9 years old? Yet another reason to find a way to stop and reverse whatever was happening to them, before she, too... It was't too late already, right? No, he shouldn't thing like that, couldn't think like that. It wasn't too late yet, it just wasn't!

Simon's thoughts were interrupted by a soft voice coming from behind him. "Huh? What, did you say something about a soul? If it has anything to do with your powers; trust me, they're real now. Oh, and for the record: Speaking of things becoming real, those guns have likely become real too by now, or at the very least well capable of killing people. So please, don't point them at people, okay?"
Yep, it's totally safe to leave Euclid behind. What could possibly go wrong? It's not like there's actually an insane murderer running around the floating island/school like Leon thinks, right?

Oh yeah, there's the Godmodder. Who's likely very pissed after almost being killed by a falling rock. And who has proven himself to be a killer in the past, quite possibly the very recent past. So... whoopsie?
"Like I said, I don't know why," Leon shrugged. "As far as I know, it might very well be for 'shits and giggles'. I've seen crazier plots, both in actual history and fiction alike. For all we know, whoever did this is just flatout insane. The point is that one way or another, staying in place isn't going to help us in any way." Once again, he didn't speak out his other thought; that this place might not be quite as safe as Rose hoped. Of course, if she was right, then this place might very well be one of the safest places around. Still, Leon wasn't quite ready to accept that yet.

"I'm ready when you are. Euclid, are you ready to go too?," Leon said over his shoulder. ...no response? "Uhm, Euclid?," he asked again, this time actually turning around. Oh, he just fell asleep. I guess his body really needs the rest. In which case it would be a really bad idea to wake him up. At the same time, can we really just leave him behind alone? ...I guess we should at least write a note or something... "Hey, Rose, do you see any pens and/or paper around anywhere?," Leon asked the girl while simultaneously looking for some stuff himself in a nearby desk. "I don't really like leaving him behind, but what little I know of treating people states that you should never move someone unless it can't be helped. I guess the best we can do is leave him a note that we went off to get help, but that still requires us actually finding help first. And the things to write said note, for that mat-Oh, found it! Never mind," he finished, holding up a pen and a small stack of post-it notes for Rose to see.
After writing a few simple notes that Rose and he were off to find out exactly what was going on, where they were and that Euclid should just try to get some rest for now, Leon placed aforementioned Post-Its on the door of the nurse's office. "There. At least now Euclid won't need to wonder where we went," Leon spoke while putting the pen and Post-Its in his pocket. After all, you never know when things like that'll come in handy. "Well then, shall we go?," he continued as he opened the door for Rose. "So, where's the kitchen?"
So... The new plan is that Euclid the Character is going to rest on a bed in the nurse;s office, right? Can I, for the sake of easy writing, say that he fell asleep in one of my posts? Something like Leon turning to Euclid to ask him a question, upon which the former notices that the latter has fallen asleep. Of course, this still leaves the problem of Rose (and possibly Leon) likely not wanting to leave Euclid behind...
On a related note: Did Rose say that she would be gone for a while?
