Bio

Soooo, basically I've been role playing for... fifteen years? I've been writing longer than that though... more along the lines of thirteen years. I'm 30, have a kiddo, and am happily married. So, I'm probably older than the majority of you on here but I love to write... I'm odd. I love to set and create ideas in my head but I don't really like to GM... I'm more of a throw everyone together and see what happens sort. Also, because I do have a kiddo my schedule is a little unpredictable. I can't promise much though I try to post at least once a day.

I enjoy high fantasy, mystery, drama, and romance BUT I don't do smutty play. I prefer to fade to black when things get steamy... Partly because I'm happily married and partly because I don't want the main focus in my plays to be smutt. I have several characters I adore and can't quite lead myself to give up on... I love expanding and evolving their stories so feel free to ask me about them and some of my roleplay ideas.... I have many.

YES! Lol, my poor rogue isn't made for fighting those kinds of odds and I think the entire party is ready for some serious R&R. X_X

EDIT:

@Spark... You wanna post before I do? I'm not sure if you're already working on yours and don't want to mess up your post with mine.
Lol, I seem to have the worst timing in the world when it comes to posting. XD

Aevah watched the nymph treat her companion and then continued down the hall, the prince was indeed seated but it did not appear that he had been idle. Soldiers lay dead, and this time it hadn't been any of their little party's doing... it had to have been him. At least he'd taken her words to heart and was fighting back now, though by the looks of one of the bodies he'd tried to get answers before the man had succumbed to death. Rin had been right behind her so she was sure he still was and she was still embarrassed over her momentary lapse in consciousness. Rin was the only one who had seemed overly concerned about it though, that was good at least. Maybe they'd chalk her fall up to exactly what she'd said... a clumsy moment.

Tired, so hungry she felt like her stomach would eat away at her backbone, and so thirsty her tongue felt thick and dry and her lips were cracked... This was how she felt currently. All she wanted was to get out of here, scrounge for edible plants and berries, and find a damn river so she could drink and bathe off the grime of the dungeon. Still, such an escape would rely on getting OUT first. She glanced at the Prince, "You're certain you are well enough to continue? Ice Venom is a serious thing, I'm amazed it didn't kill you already." She'd never had any handlings with the poison herself but living near the Spine meant you heard tales of the giant arachnids and their lethal poison. She knew barely anything more of it than that the blue webbing spanning his chest was definitely a sign of someone stricken. She'd read the healers book on occasion but had only retained some very basic knowledge of plants and poisons. She frowned, "Maybe you should have taken Rin up on his offer, the concoction did seem to help the nymph..."

With that said she paused considering her options, "I will join you for now... at least until you get where you are going. After that... we'll see."

She glanced back at the group... She knew Kyrtaar had been following the group a bit ago, the nymph and her odd companion were keeping pace, Rin had been right behind her so he was coming, Tarwin had vanished, Shorus had apparently remained behind, and she wasn't sure where the other mix-blood elf had gone off to. They all looked pretty worse for wear. "We should find someplace safe to rest as soon as we're out of here, she said more to herself than anyone else. With her stomach aching she put a hand to it and shook her head.

"Where to now," she asked the Prince. Hopefully, the exit wasn't far off.
Sebastian took a breath as she closed her eyes, "I won't go anywhere..."

As her hair revealed the damage do her neck he frowned, she'd be angry when she woke up but something so small wouldn't hurt him too badly... He passed his hand over her neck and watched her wounds heal. He couldn't do much more than heal the wound themselves, trying to give her back some energy or trying to clear her mind would be too much. As it was, he'd used just enough that now he needed to feed and sleep.

The nurse came, he didn't leave but he made the feeder stand just outside the curtain and hold her arm through, he didn't want anyone seeing Serena like this. As he finished the nurse brought him actual food, Serena too for when she woke. After he ate he lay down behind her and wrapped an arm around her before falling asleep.

Anna sighed softly, resting her head on his shoulder a moment. "How about both? I could use some dinner and some time with alone with my guy..."

She kissed his cheek, "Maybe they have apples," she teased.

They headed first to the cafeteria, Anna grabbed something simple and then headed with him towards his dorm room. She ate her pb&j on the way there, it was comfort food and her stomach couldn't handle much more than that right now.

Once they got there she rubbed the back of her neck and hesitated outside his door, for some reason she was nervous... Maybe it was that this was the first time she'd been in Gunner's room when she wasn't out of it from being bitten or tired from the blood loss.

"Weeeell... here we are." God... that was lame.
Sebastian frowned, he had a good idea what she wanted and he couldn't give it to her... not that. He'd try to help her in another way though, "I'm alright..." He frowned and sat up, normally, he'd be against what he was about to suggest. With sorrow in his eyes he looked at Gunner and Anna, "She has to detox... with her history it could take a while and in the meantime she'll look for anyway she can find to be bitten..." He took a breath, "Use the restraints on my bed... I'll try to calm her."

Anna helped Serena onto the bed, hoping she hadn't understood what Seb had just said. She got the first wrist fastened with little trouble but she doubted Serena would stay calm for long when she realized what they were doing. She struggled for the second arm and then bit her lip when it came time to do her legs... She'd seen Serena kick. "Will that work?"

"Yeah... I doubt she'll hurt me... You two should go..." He climbed onto the bed next to her, slipped the ring from his finger and onto hers... maybe it would help her think more clearly. He tried to think of the little Italian he'd learned from his studies and tried it...

"Ti amo, Serena... Ti prego fidati di me, sono.... ammalati. Questo รจ meglio... sicuro."

He brushed her hair from her face, kissing her forehead, "Hai... bisogno di... riposo."

Unsure if he'd gotten it right he frowned, "Do you understand? You need to rest to get better... This was the only way I could keep you safe."

Anna had left the room and waited for Gunner, biting at her lip. "I hope she'll be okay..."
Anna had no idea what the girl was saying but she had a clue that the first bit was about getting back to her father and the second was her desperate plea to be taken to Sebastian... she hoped she was right. "Calm down, I'm going to take you to Seb... just calm down first okay." She hauled the girl down the hall, against her will or not. Jace finally stopped, his head pounding as he left the room. He'd suffer tonight... tomorrow... probably a lot, for now though the deed was done. The man's eyes were glazed and he was still kneeling there, Jace had forced his compulsion so far into the man's mind that he doubted he'd be able to think of anything else for a while... it would be obvious he'd been compelled. So, he locked the door before he exited... by the time the man's mind cleared enough for him to unlock the door the evidence of compulsion would be gone and he'd believe exactly what Jace had told him.

Jace staggered down the hall and to his room, halfway there the hallucinations started and he scratched viciously at his arm to rid himself of the spiders under his skin... Once in his room he collapsed onto his bed and into nightmares... This is what he had brought on himself...

Anna finally got Serena to the infirmary where she hoped Gun had taken Seb, she was right... She hauled the girl to Seb's bed and groaned when she found him asleep. Then, seeing the red mark on his forehead she realized Gun had... sedated him. She glanced at Gun, "She's speaking Italian and freaking out... her dad was feeding off her. If I let her go I'm afraid she's going to make a run for it... She's an addict but... I think her father made her that way..." Her words were thick with sorrow.

~*~

Sebastian slowly became aware of voices and his eyes slowly opened, "Serena?"
Sebastian was standing one moment, had time to think 'SHIT' and out the next...

~*~

Anna stood at the door and shifted nervously, why would Seb think Serena's father would hurt her? Had he seen something in the man's aura that she couldn't or had he just lost it over the man's insistence that he take Serena back to Italy. The scars were worse than what she'd thought, had Serena really been tangled up with a bunch of Moroi men willingly? She frowned, if so one of those Moroi men had probably made sure she was addicted first before bringing his friends... that's how it always happened. That's how nieve Dhampir girls ended up blood-whores addicted to the bite...

She could hear the father talking to Serena quietly though she couldn't make out the words, and even if she could they were Italian... a language she didn't know. She was just about to tell herself she was being silly, that Seb had just freaked out over Serena leaving and that his darkness had made him overreact when JACE stepped around the corner. She started at him, fist already pulled back but he held up his hands quickly and then put a finger to his mouth and pointed at the door. Anna frowned, and watched him as he went to the door and found it unlocked. He barged in and Anna was right behind him, planning to yank him right back out the door when her eyes fell on the sight in front of her. Anger ripped through her and she immediately slipped an arm around his throat, cutting off his air... pulling the hold so tight that it cut off his ability to keep feeding. "You son of a bitch!"

Jace grimaced, "Anna! He's a Moroi!"

Once she'd stopped his ability to breathe or feed and he'd released Serena she turned him to Jace, "Wipe him if you can, make sure he leaves Serena here..."

"That's what Seb sent me to do... I need him conscious in order to do it Anna!"

She loosened her grip only JUST enough for him to take a breath and then clamped down again so he couldn't scream.

Jace looked the man in his eyes, "After you entered this room, you and Serena had a long talk... You decided she wasn't worth the effort, the Queen would give you problems over the Shadow-kissed bond. There are plenty more Dhampir girls... Why chase after a brat like her? You never want to see her face again, she's nothing to you... a waste of time."

His words were cruel but he knew how to play a man like this, if he made the idea more like the man's own he was more likely to accept the compulsion. "Anna is going to let you go, she grabbed you because you were choking... she was only trying to help. Pretty girl like her will make a fine Guardian one day. As for me, I came because I heard the noise."

Anna grimaced and released the man, looking at Serena who was probably only just clearing her mind. She wrapped an arm around the girl and forcibly hauled her out of the room. Jace continued repeating what he'd said, over and over.
@Pathfinder Regeneration is handy... Also, I don't know if maybe 9 could sense it when she's not in her body or not being telepathically inclined and all.

Lol... Aevah's all... Nope! Nothing to see here! Keep it movin'!

EDIT:
@Stefan I kinda took liberties when she 'stepped out'... if you don't like I'll alter it. ^_^
Aevah nodded when he told her his name, she could tell he was analyzing her... Most of his kind disliked her, she was an impurity in thier eyes. As for humans, they distrusted her because of the war... saw her as a possible spy or worse. However, he thankfully remained civil which spared her from dropping him on his ass where he stood. Whether that civility was because she was offering him help or because he had decided not to judge her on her race remained to be seen... but she'd take what small kindnesses she could get. His smile and polite banter did, however, earn him another less wary smile in return.

"Very true my friend," she said to Kyrtaar, "At least you didn't catch the pointy end... Thank whatever Gods that be for small favors, eh?"

The bull-man's mention of medicine had her mood lifting a bit. Human medicine would only help the Fae woman a bit... it would take quite a bit more of it on her than it would on a human to do any good and since it was only pain killer she doubted it would help much at all. As Kyrtaar steadied himself and assured her he could manage now that he'd gained his feet she moved to release him and her hand brushed the bare skin of his neck... and her vision skewed.

The world around her faded, giving way to the angry rise of a million burning stars. The usual comfort she felt from their light was nowhere to be found, instead she felt mocked... scorned. She shuddered, her eyes appearing glazed and empty to those in the room but behind them her mind was alight with unwanted images. Eyes... so many eyes staring out of a black abyss and and growls like dark laughter that were discordant in comparison to the song of the cosmos around her. Planets moved in impossible orbits and suns burned them up one by one as they became red giants and she'd almost swear she could feel their heat burning up her soul... She snapped back to herself as the Prince was in the middle of his explination. What had she just seen? She'd seen a lot of things in her life... but man-eating stars weren't among that list. She refused to reveal her ability though, it had a way of turning people against her... she'd rather just tell them she'd checked out for a moment.

Tarwin had left sometime during her brief lapse of awareness and it sounded like the jig was up since alarms were going off everywhere. She didn't really have long to ponder on going after him though... Guards would be here soon. The dark elf offered up her knowledge of the meds from the cabinet and hopefully those who could use it did. Hesitating momentarily she took the vial of pain killer that was being passed around and headed over to 9.

She handed the vial of pain killer to the Fae girl, "Use this on him... I don't think he'd appretiate someone he doesn't really know and can't see doing it..."

Shorus was already helping him along if he needed it but the pain killer would help him cope till they were out... at least... it would if it would do any good on his kind. She drew her daggers, the others were pretty injured... she'd have to do some fighting with those still able if they were going to get out.

"I'll go check things out ahead... see how many Guards are in our way."

She didn't take but a single step when she realized by the way the world suddenly warped and tilted, that she'd just stepped out of her body. "DAMMIT..." She looked behind her, sure enough she was just lying there. She was torn, she could use this moment to SAFELY scout ahead and risk leaving her body and having it invaded by something else... OR she could return right this minute and do things the way a SANE person would... Except she knew that this had been triggered by what she'd seen a minute ago, she doubted she'd be able to get back so quickly. She took the chance to look at her companions... The Fae's aura was sickly grey, so was 9's though his was much much larger than anyone else's in the room... probably due to his telepathic abilities which he'd demonstrated earlier.

Everyone else looked normal except... Kyrtaar. Shadows seemed to cling to him, writhing along the edges of his aura and the book at his hip pulsed with a life all it's own. She decided not to think too much into it, it wasn't her business... Taking a deep breath and trying NOT to panic about her body lying unconscious when guards were on the way... she tried to focus. With one more deep breath she exhaled as she fell towards her body....
And her eyes opened in the real world.

She stood quickly, "Right... did no one else trip over that huge rock? No... well, count yourselves lucky.... I'm... going to scout ahead." Off she went...
