Finley MaloneGender:Male
Age:19
Superhuman Abilites:Air Manipulation.
Finley has the ability to shape and control the air around him, able to create jets or waves of air as weapons. He believes that in the future, with practice, he may be able to control the air in such a way that would allow him to fly, but he cannot reach even a meter or two off the ground without losing control at the present. Though he can only utilize the air as a weapon in few ways, it seems that with practice he could perhaps form small twisters and be able to use his abilities to asphyxiate others by depriving them of air.
Appearance:Finley stands at a relatively tall 6'0 and has a athletic frame that would seem quite average for his height. His hair is a very dark tone of brown that would almost resemble black in certain lightning - it is short and somewhat messy. His eyes are a dark blue.
Personality Characteristics:For the most part, Finley is quite a normal person for his age, making an effort to be friendly and open whenever he can, though that is just the first impression you may get from him. Finley can often be a little paranoid, finding it hard to trust others, especially strangers - nevertheless, he will keep his worries to himself and try and act comfortable around them. He has quite a laid-back feel to him, though he isn't really laid-back at all, often just adopting quite a relaxed posture whilst his head works away by itself. Due to his inner anxiety, he has quite a reckless temperament, meaning one little thing could swing him from being apparently calm to very hot-tempered and in some scenarios, violent.
History:Finley is the youngest of three siblings. He and his two elder brothers were all born in Ireland, where Finley spent the first twelve years of his life, constantly moving neighbourhood and school due to his mother's inability to settle. Finley's mother was an odd woman, very uptight and abrasive, but she was good deep down. She worked in some dull office building. His father, on the other hand, was a very open and kind man who spent a lot of time with his children when he wasn't working as an electrician. When Finley was twelve, his mother decided she wanted to move to America. Finley's father totally rejected the idea and refused to move away from his homeland, believing this constant movement was bad for his children and that they simply didn't have the finances to make a clean move over to the USA and still have money for their children's further education. Finley, too, was against the idea as he wanted to keep a friend for more than a calendar year. His mother, however, continued to make plans to move against his father's wishes. Soon later, after a lot of arguments between Finley's parents, his parents separated, and after a long and strenuous legal battle, Finley's mother saw to it that she could take her children to America all by herself.
At the time Finley struggled to understand why or how they could just leave his father in Ireland, and looking back he hated to think about the struggle his father had gone through. Once they arrived in America - New York at first, Finley's mother instructed him and his brothers to never contact his father. His brothers never did, but one day he received a letter from his Father and remained in continuous secret contact through the years. He grew to have quite a vendetta against his mother, for ruining his childhood by pushing him from one town to another and for kicking his father out of his life, but he also felt sorry for her, wondering what issues had driven her to such a strange set of choices. Nevertheless, when he was of age to leave and get his own home, he did so, finally settling in one place for the foreseeable future for the first time in his life - this time California.
Finley lost contact with his family on the most part, rarely speaking with his mother and never really making an effort to meet with his brothers who he was never really too close with, which was surprising because of the fact he'd never really had many good friends. He did, however, keep in contact with his father who he continued to send monthly letters to. His life went on an upward spiral from then on, he went to College and settled in with a good group of friends, even got a girlfriend for the first time. However, naturally, he could not keep this good run going and eventually it all went down the drain. He began experiencing strange occurrences where bursts of air would thrust him forward, giving him a burst of pace. He did not connect the dots and realise he was the one controlling this air until he was involved in a fight with one of his close friends at school that had been brought on over a silly matter - he ended up accidentally thrusting his friend across the room and in to the wall, breaking several of his bones. His girl left him and his friends looked at him in a different way. Just when he thought it couldn't get any worse he fell asleep by the side of a tree in the afternoon and woke up in some sort of containment cell.
