He had only learned how to shunpo a few months ago, and so his form was still a bit unrefined, but clearly it was good enough to keep up with the other two, so he tried his best to ignore it.

"its not necessarily that i am ignoring them. im not making them the priority. all of us are capable of paying attention to our surroundings." Gio clarrified "we can avoid them easily and handle them with even more ease. but a hit from a menos is probably 12 times more devastating. Also.. even if there are hollows, they will focus on us , that might sound bad but when you think about collateral damage to the souls we are supposed to be protecting its better to take out the menos first. they destroy just by moving. and there Cero is monstrous. so when we dodge it how many souls do you think would die if it came close to one of the numerous over populated districts out here that we are sworn to protect?" Giovanni spoke as if he was simply explaining himself, with no superior tone. He simply wanted to explain his choice of action.

so, just to be clear, the weakish arrancars are not even Gillian level?

yeaaa thats what i thought. just making sure it wouldnt be an issue that my team potentially struggles with two menos and if we get the chance to join the main arch fight just wipe out nameless arrancars with little effort, assuming they are actually arrancars cuz im not really sure. just checking. thanks

you make the encounter usually. they will all probably be focused on the new main mission

"your the only one excited," Giovanni pointed out. her plan was decent...but didnt seem to account for the fact that there were two menos. He could see how she was trying to bled the plans together and it was an admirable attempt but again there were two of these walking death towers. To simply focus on the menos seemed almost instinctual to Gio but they were so hung up on the chance of smaller hollow. He had killed thousands of the things, so he really coulddnt bring himself to worry about them. The menos on the otherhand this was his first time dealing with one, so naturally they took his attention. How ever he kept all this to himself since it was Ko' plan and he already said he would go with it.

"The two large ones are going to be tough, but what really worries me is smaller hollows joining them... We should sneak up as close as possible to negate their advantage and if there are smaller hollows I will need one of us to deal with them. But you will be right below the menos so it is not as easy as it sounds.." She waited for the other two to input their thoughts.

"They are Menos... smaller hollow are inconsequential compared to them. they are the target and by far the most dangerous" Giovanni put in his input as he walked "if there happens to be other hollow they should not be our priority. the two gigantic walking terrors should be. And of course one is an issue in and of itself. best bet is to split their attention and the third person hit them...hard, one at a time. But you are leading this one so its your call Ko" now that Gio put his two sense in he could sit back and simply follow what ever orders he was given. The Choice was Ko's and he stood by that, she wanted an opportunity to prove her abilities and he supported that. sure both of them wanted the same position but gio didnt think about it as a race, niether of them achieved their Bankai yet. Gio had spent the entire year re-mastering his Shikai but he felt one step closer to the Bankai mark. However he learned not to rush these things and trained diligently when possible. Ironically being in squad 5 and his all around training schedule made his goal easier to achieve. He wondered idly if it was the same for the rest of the seated members.

Giovanni did his best not to roll his eyes. Menos were strong, packed a lot of raw power, but they are slow. Hit them hard and hit them fast to take them down, aim for the head and watch the sky. That Negacion was a pain in the ass but that Cero was even more Dangerous. Gio was lucky, though he can fly when he uses his shikai, kept him from being stepped on. If there was two of them it would be a tricky to take them both out but technically it wasnt his issue. If was Ko's she wanted to lead the mission it would be her job to come up with a plan. Giovanni just nodded and didnt comment on the mission, "when ever you're ready Ko"

"4th seat. i apologize. im not going to let her lie for me. this is my well earned day off. im only going along with this for her. so please for her sake dont hold back." Giovanni explained. no point sugar coating anything, squad 1 was all about business, facts and results. Especially results, those were extremely important to squad one. He had learned that from working under the head captain with the kido corp. so long as anythring produced results it was deemed important. if there were no results there was no importance. it was a slightly flawed system that deterred a lot of people from trying new thing but it insured that everything that worked worked well. That was giovanni's biggest hurdle working on the Kido corps, being able to produce results for the head captain to see. good times...not really

"ah lieutenant, yes our 5th seat here would like us to have a very difficult and challenging mission. " Giovanni explained. He remembered Yu from all the times he himself was running around this building for the head captain. He had missed the fact that he had became lieutenant but it was well earned for sure. "so if there is any kind of mission you have that the Elite of squad 5 would be able to complete that would be great" Giovanni had already surmised that together the, in theory, possessed the abilities to take on a mission that a new captain would be given. they were not cohesive enough to take a mission that would be given to a veteran captain, which would have much more danger, difficulty and deaths. But at the same time collectively they had the skill and the no how to COLLECTIVELY knock out a lieutenants mission...theoretically.
