Advinnian Conquests
This is a fantasy story that starts in a village called Varinnia. This world which is called Advinnia which only contains two intelligent races, supposedly. . . The Elves are now the main power in this world. The elves had been enslaved, and they rebelled against the humans. The humans failed miserably in the war, considering the elves could be quite powerful when finally united under one leader. Breaking the laws on the blood magic once they realized that it was harmless against them, they utilized it heavily. Years of propaganda and elves that held more power in the human courts convinced them of this lie, allowing hundreds of years of slavery to occur. Dissenters were silenced immediately, but now the traitorous elves lie dead in the deserts, where it is believed they can never move on into the afterlife. For it has been decreed by the new King. There is currently no resistance against the elves.
The salt could be smelt on the wind, the wind only ever blew into the village from the western currents. The last safe haven of the humans, Varinnia Village. Surrounded by difficult to travel mountains in the east, uncharted plains to the south, and the sea coming in roughly against the northern and western side. The elves had rebelled against the humans, and the humans had not expected the rebellion to be so... successful. They failed in battle and had to run, the elves left them be once they ran far enough. The humans stupidly thought that the elves could not pass into the area, whether it be in an attempt to fix wounded pride or they were that ridiculous, has been lost to time. Humans had always had foolish tendencies, and their history seems to prove it. However, Quinta, a maiden from the human village, had a terrible friendship with curiosity, and she only assisted in this line of thought. The villagers were not fond of her, thinking her curiosity to be the end of her , or even them.
