If You're Anything Like Me, You're Pretty Bored.

Hiya, Niro here, since I'm getting back into this whole mess I thought I'd make up a quick post of things I'd like to do with all you wonderful people! This list will be small to start, and as I find more things I'll add or delete some stuff.

Let's start out with me, since I don't want you to get into something you don't want to do. My name is Nirophen, but please fell free to call me Niro. I'm a twenty-something studying literature and business (go figure, right?) in college, I sleep too much and my sarcasm will leave you confused and probably offended (sorry). I am High-Casual to Advanced-Lite, and while I don't expect my partner's to be perfect, I do have some expectations.

If you come in with an idea, please be able to talk about it. If you're going to throw me into a story, don't get upset when I spin my own tale. While perfect spelling and grammar aren't required (seeing as I may have a brain-seizure and misspell common things), the ability to clearly write and articulate your ideas is a must. I'm very flexible in who and what I play, from Men to women, and everything in between; but I understand if you're not comfortable with a gender or (if the need calls for it) romantic paring. Just don't expect me to play a helpless maiden, because I can't stand laying around and getting kidnapped. Seriously, it messes up my hair and that's a problem.

Other than that, I'll just put my list here, and if you see something you like, please feel free to PM me, because I'd love to hear from you! Most of these prompts are meant for original worlds and all timelines, but if you've got an idea to change something, that's cool too.

Horror:
-Psychotic people
-Serial killers falling in love/infatuation/obsession
-Demon summoning, soul-selling, contract making action

Mystery:
-Victorian-era serial killer/murder mystery (steampunk anyone?)
-Haunted house with ghosts and spooky things

Crime/Superhero:
-Steampunk "superhero" crime-stopper (clockwork guns???)

Romance/Drama/Slice of Life:
-Letters back and forth from people
-Children causing trouble and making mischief during school holidays
-Anything with mermaids and sailors and tropical islands

And I told myself I wouldn't do this again...

Looks like I've crawled out of retirement, like the little spawn of Satan that I am. Oh well, old habits die hard I guess.

Hiya, I'm Nirophen, been on this site almost since it was first opened, and when the site crashed I'd promised myself to get off and do something with my life. It worked for a while, I guess, but I suppose I've missed this place. I used to go by a different name, but I think leaving it (and the people) behind is probably in everyone's interest.

To give you a little background, I'm a vitamin D-deficient twenty-something who clearly has too much time on her hands. I've been studying literature and business (go figure, right?) at my local community college for a while now, I also hold a job that has devoured most of my energy as of late, so please ignore the bags under my eyes and IV of coffee in my arm.

When it comes to RPing, I'm flexible and dedicated. I eat up topics like candy, and get addicted to good story lines quickly. I type too much and love too quickly, but my time on here has made me reserved and cautious. I don't take well to arrogance, ignorance, or people named "Chad" (I'm sorry if you're name is Chad, I'm sure you're a great person!).

I guess that wraps it up, glad to see the site is alive and kicking!
