Name: Colin Rivington
Sex: Male
Age: 20
Height: 5’9
Species: Human
Physical Description: Colin, for the most part, just looks a bit tired. He has chin-length brown hair that he keeps tied back for convenience's sake, brown eyes weighed down by dark circles, and a semi-permanent scowl. He dresses plainly, preferring to fade into the background of wherever he might be. Thanks to training with a bow and arrow since childhood, he's actually in quite good physical shape, at least, more so than your average human.
Physical abnormalities (tattoos, scars, etc): Colin has a large, puckered burn scar that runs down his left arm. He usually wears long sleeves to try and keep it covered up, but due to its size and location, it usually isn’t long before someone notices it.

History: Colin was, unfortunately, never an anomaly among the ranks of prospective initiates to the hoods - a volunteer with a bone to pick, his hatred of all things that went bump in the night was obvious from the get go, and fellow initiate Vitius Dragomir often bore the brunt of that anger.
Over time, however, Colin’s rather extreme beliefs began to mellow out a little as time and time again his own black and white view of the world proved more likely to get him into trouble than anything else. The real ‘monsters’ were often far more human than his old way of thinking allowed for, and if he wanted to survive, he had to learn to operate in the shades of grey where the Hoods existed.
This, comparatively positive, trajectory was knocked of course however, after a disastrous mission back to his hometown of Fallcliff with fellow recruit Kiri Hae. Despite a rocky start, the two roommates had become close, but upon returning to the keep, they were no longer speaking. Official reports didn’t say much, only that the initial mission had in fact been a ruse by an extremist group with a growing anti-Red Hood sentiment, and that the leader had ultimately been killed by Kiri, an act which earned her her Red Hood.

Anything else we need to know about you right off the bat (optional): Colin spent his childhood training in archery, knives, and spotting and taking down supernatural threats, specifically vampires, courtesy of his 'shoot first, ask questions later' uncle. Compared to the other initiates, his initial training was lacklustre, and he was prone to freaking out in battle and not actually being all that effective.
During his time with the hoods, however, his martial skills improved significantly, as did his ability to rationally approach a situation (although whether that ability is still intact after recent events is tbd). He also started learning to read properly once he discovered it was an important skill in his 'not getting horribly killed' roster.
Colin always keeps his bow, arrows, and daggers on him when away from the keep. His bow is a replacement for his old one which got snapped in two during an altercation. His daggers are silver plated, and he keeps them in a ankle sheaths, usually tucked into his boots.
