Current I wanted lemon for the vodka so we built a greenhouse across from the library where all the books on summoning the apocalypse and proper hallucinogen etiquette sit. Sweden is lovely this time of year.

Once I am done with my own character I am going to move right on into getting the Baron situation handled. I have some ideas!(be afraid, she's thinking again.)
I'm currently fine tuning my CS at the moment, and was thinking it would be interesting to have at least one prior contact. Would anyone's character have been likely to require the services of a P.I at some point in the fairly recent past? (ten years or so)

Any more than that would be a little unlikely, but one lowly discontented Vampire knowing another from a prior meeting wouldn't be all that unreasonable.

I wouldn't have needed a P.I. I don't think, but I'm still fine tuning my character. She is a fighter type and her Sire and Baron "trade" the services of their children with other barons; usually hired out as enforcer types. It would be possible that we had worked together. I am getting my CS up, hopefully today.

Everyone will add more stuff to connections as we figure out who is in the RP as well, so if it is lacking now that isn't an issue. :)
@MelonHead

Sunlight, Decapitation, Fire, Stake to the heart I believe are the four really big ones, as per usual when it comes to vampires. Different bloodlines might have extra weaknesses. You can also be torn to bits with enough bullets.

Yeah, I'm sorry I dropped the ball on that.

Creating a Vampire:
The vampire drains the human. The human must be actively feeding upon the vampire as the vampire takes their last bit of blood so that the vampire blood will take over. Some strains have more specific rituals, but the base is the same.

Destroying a Vampire:
Sunlight, Decapitation, Fire, Destruction of the heart (this can a stake, the heart pulverized, ect.). You could be torn apart by bullets, or really anything that could pulverize the body, especially at our age. Different lines do have other weakness. There is a common practice of burying your enemies still alive, though lately the trend is to view burial an archaic practice.
((exactly what Hellis said :P))

**A side note on cannibalism: Feeding from another vampire is frowned upon by some factions and enjoyed by others. To kill another vampire by feeding on them is possibly the greatest vampire "sin". There is the possibility of gaining some of their power, but it is more likely that your mind will snap and you will be put down. At a young age, there is no way to withstand the power of a Baron, even if you were somehow capable of killing one. It is so rare that it is more of a myth.

^.^; Children of the Lynx.

I'm in. I will work on a CS once I clear my inbox.
Okay, I was in, obviously. Lovecraft, mmmm, with a little western twist? Yes, yes.

Then Rilla posts?

Oh, I'm your Huckleberry.;)
@Noxious So is there any more space in here good sire? I would be very much interested. I will have my CS sketch sent over to you in about...10 minutes. Timer set! have a good time till!

No rush. Take your time and think it out. :)
So, I will probably take on more characters than I previously stated. What I am focusing on is a wide collection of vampire types with plausible motivation for wanting to join a group of rabble rousers.

I'm not sure if you guys are trying to keep your character types a secret, if so, I apologize for this, but I want people to talk it out more because it will help flush out ideas a bit better.

So far the ideas approved or in discussion are: ratpire (controls/sees through rats), blood seer (uses blood to see into people's true selves), voice of authority/observation (the perfect cop), shadow melder (controls shadows), an artist with Mesmer abilities, and some we are still talking out like a vampire hating vampire, and a diseased vampire and a biochemist vampire (I kind of want to figure out a way to make your stories combined, I think these could fill a niche of people with powers over other people's physical selves as opposed to mental, but I need to talk it out with y'all and I don't want to force you into anything. I want everyone to love their character!).

Don't be sad if we talked and I forgot to add you in. There is a bit on my plate at the moment. We have talked about so many awesome ideas. I know some people are chatting with Hellis and some are still chatting with me. No rush, I really want you to make a character that you want to play!
I need to add how vampires die/are created. Give me a bit and I will get that information up. Thanks @Taaj!
Interested, I like the Masquerade elements, I'll take a day or two cementing and creating a worthy character if there's space. (hopefully)

You want the character sheets PMed to you, right?

Yes please, glad to have you. Feel free to ask any questions!
