I just made Cinnamon Apple Snickerdoodle Cupcakes. I also may have been heavily drinking while making them. Either way, the house smells great!

Hello!
I've been on a roleplaying hiatus for quite some time but I'm ready to come back to it! I used to roleplay mainly on an avatar based site called Gaia Online. I was more into what they called "literate" role plays: that is, what looks to be your casual to advanced roleplays. As of right now, I'm more interested in the casual ones. I might go into advanced at some point, but for now, I think casual will be for me.
I've done a wide variety of subjects. My favorites are: -medieval/fantasy -romance -super powers or super hero -psychological -some sci-fi from time to time
I really enjoy original stories/premises for role plays but I'm also okay with doing something based in an existing world with original characters. I like fast-paced role plays with plenty of action and adventure. I'm good with both group stories and 1 on 1. While I tend to prefer playing male characters, I'm up to playing either gender. I'm also up to 18+ content. I'm not quite sure how far I'm willing to go as far as smut is concerned, but I will let you know once I've hit my limit!
I'm a gamer, especially rpg's (big shock there) and I enjoy fantasy television and movies. I'm very into Game of Thrones right now. I've seen every episode and I started reading the books though I only made it to book 2 or 3...I don't remember, it was a while ago. I also like older Legend of Zelda (I stopped playing the new ones after Twilight Princess came out), the Fallout games, Skyrim, I'm currently playing Witcher 3 (which I got as a gift. Unfortunately, I have not playing the previous two, but I would like to), the Fable games, I played some of the Batman Arkham games, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (the console game, but I also played the mmorpg for a while) and more I can't think of at the moment. As far as movie and tv goes, I like Lord of the Rings, Stranger Things, the Batman universe, Star Wars, Sucker Punch etc.
If you have a role play you want to start soon or need new members in that you think I might like, let me know! I'm always looking for new stories.
If you want to check out some of my art, check out my DeviantArt page. I will hopefully have some of my original characters up there once I start drawing again.
Please send your character sheet to either LordLinguinie or Nymeria, or post it in the ooc tab to be approved before posting it to the character tab.
Please note also that you cannot start off as a monster/creature. If you wish to play as one, you must first create a human character. Let one of the GM's know you wish for them to turn into one of the creatures listed above and we will work something into the roleplay itself.
Hunter Character Sheet
Hunter’s Name: Age: Appearance: Weapon of choice: Armor of choice: Strengths/Abilities: 4 specific traits or skills that your character is especially good at Weaknesses/Hindrances: 4 areas where your character lacks knowledge or experience Personality: History: What has your character been doing up to this point in their life
Human Character Sheet
Name: Age: Appearance: Occupation/Status: Nobleman, peasant, beggar, etc. Personality: History:
These rules should mostly be common sense: don't start any trouble and we should be fine.
1. Be courteous to other players, don't provoke or get into fights in the ooc. 2. Listen to the GM and Co-GM 3. Send your character sheet to either the GM or Co-GM for approval before posting in the character tab. You can also post it on the ooc page for approval. 4. Try to keep your posts interesting. A paragraph or two is preferred but creativity is more important than length. Make sure you put some thought into it before you post. 5. No overpowered characters, godmodding, controlling other characters without the owners permission, etc. 6. I'm not going to limit the number of characters you can play. It's up to you to decide how many you can handle. 7. This is an 18+ roleplay so fighting, gore, romance is accepted, just follow the Guild's rules with how far you take it. 8. Just use common sense and have fun!
Application
Please send your character sheet to either LordLinguinie or Nymeria, or post it in ooc for one of us to approve before posting it to the character tab.
Please note that if you want to play as a monster (ie lycans or vampires) you must consult with me or Linguinie to make sure your character and their backstory fit with the story. We have quite a bit of background information that will be revealed as the story unfolds that is unknown to the other players.
The only creatures available for humans to become are lycans and vampires. While I would allow someone to turn into a wendigo, note that once a human transforms, they don't turn back. They also lose a lot of their humanity and become more animalistic.

People of Belvoir, King Gustavo hereby offers great reward for anyone willing to join the new Royal Hunting Guild. If you are accepted, not only will you be made the richest hunter/huntress in the Kingdom, but you will have the honor of serving your King by helping eliminate the threats to this great Kingdom. If you fear death, darkness, or things that go bump in the night, I suggest you not apply. Any and all hunters who think they have what it takes to defend this Kingdom from the monsters that seek the destroy it, are welcomed to apply to the Guild. The new Royal Guild hall will be just inside the main castle walls.
The World of Belvoir
Belvoir is a bustling Kingdom with many cities, towns and farmlands. The capital city of Rothenburg is where the King resides along with his trusted advisers. Upon first glance, Rothenburg seems like a typical medieval city but closer observations reveal its many dark secrets. Things have always been mildly dangerous for the average peasant but recently, things have gotten much more deadly. New monsters have begun popping up, frequently attacking villagers and noblemen alike. They don't just attack outside the city walls any longer, now they have begun stalking prey inside the city. That is where the new Hunters Guild is coming in to play. The King has sent around a notice for any strong man or woman to join in on the fight against these deadly creatures.
World Info
Here are some basic details about the world the roleplay will be taking place in. There is a lot of info here so don't feel obligated to read it all right away. You may skim it to get an idea of how things work and I would recommend reading most of it before you make your first post in the IC, but it is not required.
Since Rothenburg takes place in medieval times, technology is limited. Swords, axes and war hammers are common weapons, but some firepower has recently been discovered. Blunderbusses and other primitive guns have began to pop up here and there. Any such guns, however, remain clumsy and not entirely accurate. They do, however, provide superior firepower to the traditional crossbow.
While magic does exist in this world, it is not a common thing. Most humans have little to no knowledge of these abilities. Witches are the only known creatures who are avid magic users, although they usually rely more on their alchemical potions and other substances.
Alchemical science is just that: a science. It takes many years to master and, while normal people are able to study and use their knowledge to create potions, it is difficult to learn. Many books have been written on the subject, but those aren't accessible by most commonfolk. Only the nobles and those who choose occupations related to the subject have access to these books.
That being said, Herbalists and healers will sell their potions for a price, and there are a wide range of potions ranging from healing potions, cures for baldness, strength enhancers, and even night vision. The new Hunters Guild has made good use of some of these potions, often keeping a few different types on hand. There is one in particular that they make use of the most: The Draught of the Titan, or just Titan as it is known by the Hunters. This potion give the user incredible strength, stamina, speed and resistance to most attacks and poisons. It only lasts for a few hours at a time but is very effective for fighting monsters. It isn't all good effects, however, as people who use this potion too much may experience some psychological side effects. People have been known to lose their minds and become addicted to the rush that this potion brings. If one only uses it once a day or less, however, these effects are barely noticeable and easily controlled.
Vampires are often referred to as "undead" as they appear to have no heartbeat. They sustain themselves mainly on blood, although they can eat normal foods, it just does nothing to sustain them. Vampires who still have a strong sense of morality will often be found drinking the blood of animals, instead of humans. This often causes farmers and livestock owners a great deal of strife as they lose their source of income.
There are many legends and rumors of where the first vampire came from, but their exact origin is unknown. It is fairly well-known, however, how they reproduce. Vampires women cannot conceive once they are turned. The men, on the other hand, can impregnate a human woman. The offspring of a vampire male and human women is a vampire. These babies appear to be normal human babies save for the fact that they are born with fangs.
The main method of vampire reproduction is through being turned with a bite. Not every victim gets turned into a vampire. If the vampire doesn't drain them completely of blood and they remain alive through the feeding, they will slowly turn into a vampire over the next few days. But if the vampire does drain them completely or kills them after feeding on them, they will simply die and not become a vampire.
As vampires are usually reclusive, there remains many different (and often ineffective) methods to repel them. Some of these methods include: garlic, crucifixes, holy water, wild rose or hawthorn branches, among others. None of these things actually repel vampires, however, but they make the peasants feel as if they have some form of control over the situation.
Appearance: Vampires are humanoid in appearance, and are otherwise indistinguishable from other humans. The only marked difference is their slightly elongated canine teeth, which are mostly unnoticeable and easily hidden.
Abilities: Vampires are extraordinarily strong, agile and quick. They can break bones with their bare hands and can run at speeds rivaling that of a horse. They also have regenerative abilities, making it difficult to kill them. If their limbs are cut off, they can regrow them. This takes energy, however, and they often must rest for a day or two, depending on how much they must regenerate.
Weaknesses: Vampires cannot be killed through ordinary means, as they can easily regenerate. They are weak to silver weapons, though just being stabbed with a silver sword won't kill them. They will still regenerate from a wound caused by silver, but it will be slightly slower than any normal wound. In order to completely kill a vampire, the silver must be driven through their hearts. They are also unable to regenerate if their bodies are completely destroyed: ie if they're entire body is shredded to pieces. They are also susceptible to burning, which is a common method to dispose of suspected vampires in small towns.
The Wendigo is a terrifying, carnivorous creature. Said to be transformed from any human who has given into cannibalism, they are fast, and feed only on humans. Some people don't believe in their existence, claiming it's just a myth started by rulers who wanted to dissuade their subjects from partaking in cannibalism. Those who have seen them, however, have a hard time forgetting them.
Appearance: While being transformed from a human, the Wendigo is far from humanlike. Gaunt and tall, it has unnaturally long limbs. When crawling on all four, it looks almost spider-like. Their teeth are jagged and often caked in blood, their eyes are practically lidless and milky white. They often have thinning hair on their heads with elongated ears. Large, jagged antlers grow out of their skulls. Their skin is very thick, tough and not easily pierced.
When a human first eats the flesh of another human, the transformation takes only a few days. They start with a craving for more, their body slowly following. Their eyes begin to loose color and their hair starts falling out in patches. Teeth begin to grow jagged and protrude from their jaws. Their fingers and limbs elongate and large antlers begin to emerge from their skulls. Soon, they are overwhelmed by a hunger that can only be satiated by human flesh.
Abilities: The Wendigo is strong and quick. It's elongated limbs allow it to climb exceptionally well. It's rock-like skin makes it immune to most weapons, although it can be hurt with blunt force. It's long fingers and teeth allow it to tear into flesh with ease.
Weaknesses: While not affected by normal swords and other sharp weapons, it is susceptible to blunt force. The force must be great to get through the creatures tough skin and break it's bones. While this can injure it, it's very unlikely to kill the creature. The only true way to kill a Wendigo is to incinerate it.
They also have very poor eyesite. They cannot see much detail and rely mostly on movement when they hunt.
Many people were living their lives in fear that something may come out of the forest with an appetite for blood. Terrified and seeking a way to protect his pregnant wife, a man climbed the tallest mountain in the land and met with the witch living at the peak. He asked her for the strength to protect his family from all those who seek to harm them. The witch told the man, if he was really wanted to protect his family, he would need to make the ultimate sacrifice. The man told the witch he would give her whatever she wanted if it meant his family would live on. Not giving the man a chance to rethink his words, the witch stabbed into him, cutting into his chest, removing his heart. That night, the man’s wife died giving birth to the first Lycan.
Weaknesses: Unlike the legends, silver is not some kind of special repellent. The only known way to kill these creatures is through physical destruction. Whether it be decapitation or evisceration, or an explosion, they’re killable, it just takes a little extra effort.
Forms: There are two known forms of Lycan that the Kingdom has to come to know.
Beast: These are the stronger of the 2. They’re larger than their counterparts, and have much more fur. These Lycans rarely appears and are often only caught in glimpses. They seem to be much smarter than the others, staying hidden. Only one instance proves their existence, shortly before the king summoned the hunters, there was one seen running across the rooftops of the city in the night. Directly infected by the original Lycan, they still retain their mind, and the transformation is not painful to the user, though it's limited to only a couple hours before the user suffers severe exhaustion.
Feral: These Lycans are much smaller and have very little hair. They look less wolf like and more monster like. Their skin looks bruised and shredded from their bones changing size and sifting in their body. It’s said the pain of the transformation is what drives them mad, and the bloodlust that follows is only to sustain their unstable state. Though only a bit larger than a full grown man, they have incredible strength, able to tear limbs from bodies, and bite through bone. It is believed the transformation into this monster is irreversible, as those who undergo the transformation have no state of mind to control the ability. It is also unknown how the disease spreads, as they never leave enough of the victim for them to turn. The further removed from the original lycan, the less control they have. These ones are twice removed, meaning someone infected by the original, infected them.
Appearance: Ogres vary in size, reaching anywhere between 14-18 feet tall, and generally weigh close to a half ton. They are completely bald, their skin a rough exterior comparable to Kevlar. Their massive size comes with an obvious superhuman level of strength as well as a few hindrances. Their immense size makes everything they do expend that much more energy, adding gravity weighing them down and they're lucky they're even able to move. They sleep about 18 hours a day, and ingest entire rams for meals. They have extremely sharp claws on their feet and hands making them that much more dangerous. Their skin color varies from shades of green, yellow, and orange.
History: They are indigenous to the Durot mountains and are not often seen outside the mountain range. Occasionally, when a big storm comes in and causes a mudslide or just floods their home, an ogre will come down the mountain, wreaking havoc on the surrounding villages. These constant destructive rampages expedited the building of city walls in the area surround the mountain range. The worst Ogre attack to happen was during the Reign of King Fernando. During a cathedral service, lead by the King and Queen, a small group of Ogres came charging down the mountains directly towards the, then, much smaller city of Rothenburg. Back then, the Temple was on the southern edge of the town, directly in the path of the rampaging giants. The city guard forces managed to stop most of the stampede, unfortunately, they couldn't stop them all. The first ogre to collide into the temple fell through the south wall of the building taking down the stone structure. The falling rubble crushed the monster and all those who were unable to escape the temple, including King Fernando and his wife. This event is what spurred Gustavo and Hugo to overhaul the city walls project.
Weaknesses: Much like their cousin, The Cyclops, Ogre’s eyes are a weak point in their natural body armor. Though they are significantly tougher than men, they are able to be killed by means of bashing in their skulls. The groin is also another significant soft spot, plus fresh Ogre testes are worth a small fortune. They are giant simpletons, so it is not hard to outsmart and evade them in the right environment.
Appearance: The creature has a length of almost 8 feet from head to toe, but has a severe hunchback, cutting off 2 feet in appearance. It has large webbed hands and feet with razor sharp claws. Its gills are located where the neck meets the shoulder, hidden by a natural body armor. Its fleshy is scaly and slick, though as tough as an alligators’. It has close to 100 teeth. There are thin blade like fins located on the backs of its legs, forearms, shoulder and around his head forming a sort of crown.
History: This creatures origin is unknown. It only appeared recently in the past few months, initially attacking boats in the port. What can be assumed by the patterns in its appearances is its intelligent and aware, as its learned from its mistakes and has become more of a threat the longer it has been stalking its prey. It does not seem to like the taste of fish as its constantly pulling sailors off of boats, and in more recent events, attacking fishermen on the docks, and even making some beach appearances. It is not known how long it can survive on land, as its brief appearances, making it safe to assume it cannot survive long out of water. This creatures recent raiding of the Rothenburg Port was a major factor in the creation the Hunting Guild. At least 200 deaths can be attributed to this monster in just the last few months it has made itself known. There is no known record of anything like this anywhere in the kingdom. Many believe it a demon sent from hell, others think it is only a taste of what lurks in the darkness of the sea. It is not known if it is capable of breeding or if there is only one creature, but sailor stories and sightings make it apparent that it has made its home on the island just off the coast of the city.
Weaknesses: Like any amphibious creature, has a natural dependence on water. Many think electrocuting the creature would be the most efficient way to kill the creature. Others think poison a cow with the most toxic the kingdom has to offer and hope it takes the bait. There are many theories on how to take it down, all remain untested.
Much like the myths and legends, the Witches of Belvoir are older than any record the kingdom has. They do not ride brooms, or have black cats, nor do they have magic wands. A truth that has been worked into the myth, is the witches cauldron. Witches are on the forefront of alchemical science. A proper blend of Lycan hair and wendigo blood, is a slow burning tar, capable of burning for hours on just the smallest amounts. Ground up wolf’s fang is a stimulant similar to pcp. The witches themselves are not immortal, though age does not harm them, they have been kept alive by finding new and disturbing ways to sustain themselves.
Only a few have actually people have encountered an actual witch, none having the courage to fight them, they have no publicly known weakness. It is assumed, since they were once just people, they can still be cut open, assuming anyone could ever get close enough to find out. The myth of witches fearing water was put to rest when a witch was spotted on a boat, heading out into Triest Sea. Some wonder if they are light sensitive, as none have ever been spotted during the day time, and they wear large cloaks to cover what can only be assumed are frail bodies.
Appearance: Witches are capable of deceiving the simple minded, walking amongst the common folk without being noticed. Using the hair of women, they are able to craft illusions of perception, making themselves look young and beautiful. The only way to tell if someone is in fact a witch, is to physically strike them, forcing them to break the illusion.
Abilities: They are able to create curses. Many attribute the Lycanthropy outbreak to the witches. Many believe they are able to polymorph people though it is not proven, It is also believed they have some sort of voodoo-like ability. They have also become immune to the aging process as well as most poisons and diseases.
Weaknesses: Fire is known to be a successful killer of witches, as well as sharp and blunt weapons. They are capable of being killed by most normal means.
The Legend The story varies from person to person, as the legend has had many shapes and forms but here’s the gist; Long ago, in the earliest beginnings of the Oslenburg bloodline, long before the formation of the kingdom, there was a great city-state in what is now the southwestern desert canyon region of the kingdom. Built into the walls of the canyon, it was believed for a long time nothing would stop the city from growing, eventually spanning the entire canyon. Of course, as goes the way of the world, the city expansion would come to a grinding halt, due to interference brought on by the giant Wyrms inhabiting the canyon. As most societies due when faced with a large predator population threatens their home, many began to hunt the Wyrm’s seeking to bring glory to their name, or prevent their homes from being destroyed. From this group rose a charismatic hunter, who began leading her people Wyrm hunts and raids and began to slowly thin the population, allowing her people to once again flourish, momentarily. While the government was focused on fighting wyrm’s and expanding throughout the canyon, the elites (Gustavo’s ancestors) of the up-and-coming city, Rothenburg, sought to eliminate their trade rivals through siege of the canyon. Rothenburg Troops disguised as desert guards, sat on all the roads entering the canyon, sending away all incoming supplies and messengers. When the people within the canyon became aware of what was going on and began sending forces out of the canyon to see what the problem was, they never returned, ambushed and executed on site by enemy forces. Seeing the grim future ahead, the government the desert city sent their best forces, lead by the now highly acclaimed wyrm hunter, to break through the siege of the canyon and get help from one of the surrounding powers. The Wyrm huntress and her soldiers fought hard, unable to overcome enemy forces. Stories say that the huntress was the last one standing for her people, and took out another few dozen men with the help of the giant Wyrms she had hunted, sparking the legend of the Wyrm Queen. The rest of the story tells of the canyon civilization starving to death and withering away without anyone knowing because of their perceived isolationism, a facade maintained by the powers at be in Rothenburg. Today, the city is long believed to be myth for many reasons. The first and biggest, the canyon in the story, is lush and full of life, while the canyons in southwestern Belvoir are dried deserts with no signs of life ever being their. The second, is that there is no proof that Wyrm’s exist. Those who have claimed to traveled to the deserts and seen a wyrm are often disregarded as crazy or delusional, as many great explorations have taken place in the 'Wyrm Canyons' with hundreds of people never seeing anything. The legend of the Wyrm Queen and the Canyon City widely remains highly debated even as a fairy tale, as what lesson is there to learn when the people end up being worse than the actual monsters?
The Wyrm Warriors or “Canyon Cult” believe that the true key to saving the kingdom from the monsters rising up, is in the legend itself. They hope to find the body of the ‘Wyrm Queen’ and resurrect her to lead the charge in fighting the monster menace, via her army of giant Wyrms. Recently, they have become a menace as many women have recently gone missing and witness accounts match the traditional cultist garb. Not much factual information is known as few actually travel to the canyon
Appearance/Biology: These truck sized beast are fur covered tanks with teeth. Each claw is about the size of a large dagger, attached to a cauldron sized paw, on trunk like arms and legs with a massive body frame to match. If one is to stand on its hind legs, it can tower to nearly 20 ft tall. These beasts are the kings of the forest, often only coming out of their caves for food. They are aggressive and will attack without provocation.
History: The bear population was diminished heavily by Lucian and his band of hunters decades ago. What remains now is the remnants of a once dangerously abundant force of nature. Though they are not extinct, they’re vast forest homeland has been reduced to an eighth of what it once was. Bear pelt has its luxurious luster due its abundance, so the only gain nowadays from hunting one is the thrill of almost dying.
Weaknesses: Their giant size only makes them a giant targets. Though they are tough and don't go down on the first hit, they do not have any kind of natural body armor to guard them. They are also extremely susceptible to from behind attacks.
Appearance/Biology: They are about the size of a dinner plate though in some cases have been comparable to a small hound. They are are bright orangish red, and are capable of seeing a full 180 degree radius in front of them thanks to their eyes wrapping down the side of their head. They have an extremely strong armor-like exoskeleton capable of withstanding dull blades, fangs, arrows, and most unarmed attacks. Ondorro silk is one of the most sought after materials in the kingdom, though it is extremely delicate and hard to gather. The spiders are also known for their venom’s paralyzation affects, being instantaneous upon entering the bloodstream.
History: The Ondorro spider, as its name would suggest, is local mainly to the Ondorro forest, though it is not uncommon them to be found on occasion throughout the kingdom. Before the invention of steel and the first blade, these creatures ravaged the human population. It is commonly believed that in the dark times, these creatures were bigger than horses, and were capable of eating entire tribes of men. Though they are not nearly as big as their legendary ancestors, they are still extremely dangerous, and have turned an entire section of the forest into their nest ground. Entering the Ondorro nest is a death sentence, actually used by a former king. No warrior, tribe or army has ever walked through the massive webbed maze and lived, it is a place off limits to mankind.
Weaknesses: despite their exoskeleton, they are not impervious to brute force attacks. A sharp sword or heavy morningstar can do the job with the right amount of force. Fire is a fantastic repellent and killer.
Appearance/Biology: Appearance depends on gender. Males are winged quadrupeds with a vulture like face and furry body. Small bony spikes protrude from its skin, covering its body giving it a natural defense. It has ten total talons, along with a long thick tail. Females on the other hand, are bipedal with winged arms. They are also bald on their heads and bodies, and have no protruding bone spikes, but are overall much larger than males.
History: Harpies are loud, viscous monsters known for abducting civilians. They swoop down, releasing a terrifying cackle (a sort of demonic luftwaffe) and dig their talons into their prey and carry them away. Males are often the hunters, as their extra limbs make them better at catching and carrying prey. Harpies are based out of the canyon southeast of Estramoz, making their homes in the caves that cover the canyon walls. The townspeople of Estramoz often claim that in the night, you can hear the collective cackle echoing from the canyon all the way from the village.
Weaknesses: City walls with an archer patrol will keep the townspeople safe, as long as they are a good shot. Harpies are not known for their subtlety, they are not capable of sneaking up on anyone. The ability to fly also comes with hollow bones, making them quite weak to a strong swing.
Appearance/Biology: On average 15-20 ft long, though some reports have them as long as 30 ft. Their scales are normally earth tones, males are darker brown, while females tend to be a lighter almost orange color. Are covered in half of their body with a dark black armor like scales with protruding spikes. This separate set of scales comes off, revealing the rest of its scales, though removal by force is difficult, it is not impossible, however if you want to profit from the armor it is best to wait for the snake to shed the armor scales, as they come off more naturally. Anaconda Armor is extremely rare and expensive but is one of the strongest available. They spit a foul black tar, that is capable of melting through a small tree and thinner armors, it is one of the deadliest creatures out their.
History: The massive snake has inhabited the swamps of Sankt gallen for as long as anyone can remember. Though they are aquatic, they are not found in the salty water of the Trieste sea. They have largely been contained to the swamps, in the center of which lies their nesting ground, Gallen Lake. A large draw to Sankt Gallen is hunting these armored nightmares, as killing just one is something to retire on. Despite their imposing strength, they are not often found hunting humans, it is only when someone impede on the creature, then does not hold back.
Weaknesses: Its armor is not easily penetrated, so the best tactic would be to target their softer underbelly, or go right for the mouth, but risk having its steel crushing jaw grab get a good a grip. Does not survive in warm/dry environments,
Appearance/Biology: Small agile creatures, known for their speed and ferocity. They are quick hunters, capable of travelling at high speeds, they can outrun most other creatures. Jackguars normally hunt in packs to make up for the size disadvantage. They have a mouth full of blade like teeth and are viscous carnivores.
History: Before the invention of the sword or shield, Jackguars posed quite a threat to humans and we’re one of the most populated predators around. Once man found steel, the Jackguar quickly fell down the food chain, and the populations slowly deflated. Now , they are plains dwelling animals, often pestering farmers by attacking their livestock.
Weaknesses: Though they are quick and have a nasty bite, they are still only as dangerous as a rabid dog. They are easily stopped by arrows, daggers, swords, etc.
Appearance/Biology: Weighs about half a ton on average, just smaller than a pick up truck when fully grown. It’s armor is impenetrable by all known means. Some believer using a white hot blade might allow some damage to be done to its tough outer shell. Along with having multiple sandpaper like tongues, it secretes a slow burning acid like saliva that eats flesh at a rapid pace. Its underbelly is unarmored, but not an easy target. Once it feels challenged, the creature will charge its prey using its armor as a battering ram, to shatter through enemy defenses. The creature is normally quite docile unless feeling threatened, in which case it is extremely dangerous. They often feast on mountain lions or rams, and other creatures that live at the base of the mountains. They are known for inhabiting rocky environments, such as the base of mountains, caves, and occasionally canyons.
History: Upon first contact with man, many thought them to be related to the Manticore, but upon further inspection the similarities lie only in the tail. The creatures are mainly native to the Durot mountains and the south western canyons. They are often avoided by most hunters as they are extremely difficult to kill and offer little to no value on the market. The creature has known to be domesticated like a horse on occasion, though not a simple task. Their territorial tendencies have lead to many engagements against aggressive ogres. They are not seen as a menace, though the kingdom encourages avoiding them if encountered.
Weaknesses: Extremely loud noises often scare the creature off if it has become aggressive. Poison or fire are the most effective ways to kill the creature, as trying to penetrate their armor is essentially impossible.
Appearance/Biology: Sleek black creatures armed with claws and fangs, as well as a tail capable puncturing a mans chest. On the underside of their lengthy arms, Banshee’s have a large plagium connected from their elbows to their upper thigh allowing them to glide through the air with ease. The creatures also release a deafening wail to unnerve and distract its prey. The noise is a high pitched scaring hounds and at minimum giving its target a massive migraine. Banshee’s are unable to see during the day time, as their eyes are only equipped for night vision, making the creatures nocturnal hunters. From head to foot they stand on average about 4 feet, though they are often hunched over or in flight making it hard to accurately measure.
History: Banshees are known for picking off late night guard patrols or the homeless. The construction of city walls has made it much harder for them to pick off unsuspecting people, but not impossible. Guards who patrol the walls often take naps, leaving themselves vulnerable to be carried off. The majority of the Banshee population spends the day time sleeping in the caves and caverns scattered all throughout the kingdom. For the non-believers in the superstitious who don’t believe in the terrors of vampires and werewolves, these creatures are real dangers and have the terrifying appearance as well and a documented history of causing havoc.
Weaknesses: Torches can be used to fend them off, as the blinding light of the fire makes it impossible for them to see. They do not have a natural body armor to protect them, though they are still tough sons of bitches. Bringing them out into the daylight makes it impossible for them to see.
Other than the King himself, the Three Families are the most powerful people in the Kingdom. They live in great manors surrounded by tall walls to keep them separate from the rest of the commonfolk. They each have their own ties to the King and his family. They serve as advisers and help to govern the Kingdom and it's many peoples.
This is also a lot of information that doesn't necessarily have to be read to understand the roleplay. It is here to help guide characters and create a better understanding of the Kingdom itself.
King Gustavo Oslenbrug has sat on on the throne for nearly half a century. His reign has been marked with the rise of things that go bump in the night. His Kingdom has grown exponentially since he took the throne at just sixteen. At eighteen he conquered new lands, expanding the Kingdom into territories never before seen by its people. By 20, he had doubled the size of his realm, and nearly quadrupled the number of citizens. This was not all thanks to the King.
Where he excelled in charisma and leadership of his men, he failed to maintain order at home. Thankfully, his brother, Hugo, was a great politician, crafting the laws necessary to keep the Kingdom afloat at war time. Returning home, King Gustavo did not get married until the latter half of his reign. Mayella was a lowly serving girl, working in the castle, when Gustavo saw her. Her beauty had gone unnoticed by all before him. They were married in a month and birthed their first child just a year later. The King has a small council of advisers including, Lucian Filtiarn, Dromeus Ballanger, Nikias Weyenburg (recently he’s been sending a proxy, his daughter), Matilda Thackery, and Commander Grux. This council helps the King in all matters, giving him a good idea of what his people want.
To secure power within the Kingdom, and keep important people happy, the King has recently entered his family into some powerful alliances. First, The King's aforementioned brother, Hugo, is newly wed to Lady Elaine Filtiarn. The king’s only daughter, Veltsa, has recently become engaged to Lord Ballanger’s son Lancelin. The King’s first son and heir, Michaleo, is also betrothed to Lady Emmaline. These marital agreements are what keep gold in the Kingdom’s vaults.
The King is well liked throughout his Kingdom, despite the rampant bloodshed on the streets and the rise of the supernatural. At first the King thought the solution to be walls to protect his people from the monsters outside, only for them to find their way in. Next, the King thought to increase the guard patrols only for less guards to come back alive. His council has nearly run out of ideas as to deal with the mess.
Lord Lucian Filtiarn, the head of his family, is the owner of the Filtiarn logging company, responsible with supplying the whole kingdom with wood. When Lucian was young, long ago, the woods north of the Rothenburg were strictly forbidden for they were far too dangerous for travel. The woods were a death sentence to any who entered due to the overwhelming number of flesh eating creatures lurked in the trees. At the time the forest extended much further south, blocking the eastern routes out of the city, cutting trade circulation, and making it hard for outsider interaction.
Lucian, a young man in great shape, was the leader of small group of warriors who occasionally hunted the monsters in the woods. Taking his men into the woods with only the tools they could carry, they began to hunt their way through the woods into the first clearing, at the time never before seen, now nonexistent. Setting up camp, this clearing would eventually become the main log house of his enterprise. Initially, the log houses were outposts, for Lucian and his ever growing pack of warriors. Once clearing the threats to their safety, they would clear sections of the forest. This was the start of what would become a monopoly on one of the most abundant and most needed resources in the kingdom thanks to Lucian being the only person with building rights within the forest.
Lady Essenia Filtiarn, Lucians only love in life, was tragically and publically killed many years ago. Lucian and Essenia had been in love since childhood, though Lucian never felt qualified to give her the life she deserved. Lucian finally proposed after selling his first load of logs, allowing him to buy her the most gorgeous gown ever crafted in any kingdom. Luther, born with heterochromia, arrived about nine months later. His sister Elaine would not arrive for 7 more years however.
The death of Essenia still very much remains a mystery, with many suspecting Lucian caught her infidelity and ended both it and her life. He was the first one to find her body laying in a pool of blood. The cause of death is still widely speculated, though no one really knows. The Funeral was bigger than some of the previous kings, her kindness and generosity known widely throughout the land. The death of his wife, changed Lucians personality and demeanor. His smile died with his wife, along with his sense of empathy and really any emotion. His face remains a stone scowl, piercing your soul with his unforgiving gaze.
Essenia’s death also heightened his paranoia, constantly fearing for his and his children’s lives. He was the first of the noble families to hire a house guard. Rather than hiring just ordinary mercenaries, Lucian hired some of the best trackers, marksmen, and a few brutish warriors from the arena. Giving them a uniform to gather behind, beds to sleep in, and a constant flow of gold for wine and women, it was not hard to hire a small army to defend his family manor. To further secure his place in the kingdom, Lucian married his daughter to the king's ‘younger’ brother, who is still twice her age.
As head of the Ballanger family, Dromeus Ballanger was born into a wealthy family. His grandfather owned much of the land in and around Rothenburg before it was largely populated. They allowed peasants and other nobles to live on their land for a price. Inheriting the family business, Dromeus expanded, taking advantage of poor families and buying any land that went up for sale, whether it was previously occupied or not.
Felicia came from another city, her family quickly running out of money, they arranged a marriage with Dromeus out of necessity. While their marriage started on uncertain terms, they began to grow fond of each other over the years and it wasn't long before they had their three children: Lancelin, the eldest, Viliame the middle son, and Eudeline, the youngest and their only girl. Just recently, Felicia carried a child almost to term when she lost the baby and almost her own life as well. Ever since that incident, she has been locked away in their home, barely ever leaving and supposedly in a deep depression.
Following suit with the Filtiarn family, Dromeus hired a band of guards to watch over their home and his family. They guard the estate and the walls which surround it. They also have household servants who do much of the family's shopping and other similar chores for them so they don't have to be out amongst the common folk.
After the untimely death of their newest infant, Dromeus talked the king into allowing his daughter to marry Dromeus's eldest son, Lancelin. It wasn't unexpected for a noble family as theirs, but it felt rushed at the time. Rumors spread that Felicia was dying and wanted to see at least one of her children wed before her death. Others said that the death of their infant shook their family and made them all realize their mortality.
Nikias Weyenberg was born into a middle class family and worked throughout most of his childhood. When he was a teenager, he was traveling with his family's caravan filled with their goods when it was attacked by a group of thieves. Not much is known about what happened during or in the weeks following the attack, but Nikias was eventually found by some traveling knights. He was the only one left of the group but he wouldn't speak to what had happened. The knights who found him took him back to Rothenburg where they brought him to the King. Feeling pity for the boy, the king took him in and allowed him work collecting taxes from the peasants.
As time went on, Nikias gained favor with the king and became quite influential. He worked hard and provided results. He began hiring new workers to help with tax collecting, even hiring thugs to make sure they got every last penny. This proved especially effective when those who couldn't pay up would come up missing.
Having done quite well for himself, Nikias built up his own manor just outside the castle. He married a beautiful young noblewoman named Elana and had four children, Emmeric, Rosaline, Emmeline and Charillos. Rosaline recently got engaged to the king's nephew and Emmeline to the king's youngest son.
Over the last few years, the family has gotten more and more secretive. It started after their youngest son, Charillos was five. They began building a second fence inside their manor walls. This didn't raise much concern among the citizens of the kingdom, as they assumed it was for decoration, as Elana quite enjoyed gardening. Then they hired guards. There were only a few at first but they quickly grew in number. It was then that the noblemen and women of Rothenburg realized that they hadn't seen Elana or Nikias in quite some time. Rumors spread that they contracted a plague or that they were both dead.
The two daughters and the youngest boy were the only ones who ever left the estate, and even that was a rare occurrence. The guards weren't permitted past the second fence, so none of them even knew what was going on. They didn't question their loyalty, however, as they were still receiving plenty of food and a comfortable living.
King Gustavo is married to Queen Mayella.
Prince Hugo (King Gustavo's brother) is married to Elaine Filtiarn (Lucian Filtiarn's daughter)
Princess Veltsa (King Gustavo's daughter) is engaged to Lancelin Ballanger (Dromeus Ballanger's son)
Prince Michaelo (King Gustavo's son) is engaged to Emmaline Weyenburg (Nikias Weyenburg's daughter)
Luther Filtiarn (Lucian Filtiarn's son) is engaged to Eudeline Ballanger (Dromeus Ballanger's daughter)
The unmarried/single children of the main families are Emmeric Weyenburg, Charillos Weyenburg, and Villiame Ballanger.
The Story Thus Far
Many hunters gathered in a large meeting hall nearby the guard barracks. They were greeted by the generosity of the King, barrels of fine mead and plenty of food to go around. Captain Drystan Haalard took the stage to announce the details of the newly creature Hunter's Guild. King Gustavo along with his trusted advisers had decided to set aside a good amount of coin to pay the most skilled hunters in the land to track down and kill the various monsters that are threatening the Kingdom. Their first assignment: To take down the fish creature that was living on the small island just off the coast on the Trieste Sea.
A large group set off, consisting of skilled hunters and some novices that were riled up by a speech by a charismatic member of the Ballanger Family Guards, Anastasia. They set off on a meager vessel to the island and landed on a small beach on the south end of the island. Many split up, while some stayed together to discuss strategy. While the hunters were off, some tracking, some planning, the ship was attacked by the four spawns of the Trieste Monster. They tore apart the bottom of the vessel and killed everyone aboard. Finished with their carnage, they made their way to shore where they attacked the hunters. They took out some of the weaker novices while the stronger hunters dispatched the group with relative ease.
That is when the creature who created the spawns appeared. It first attacked the Captain who, with the help of a strange potion, was able to take on the creature, doing surface damage but unable to to mortally wound it right away. He did, however, manage to blind it in it's left eye. The other hunters joined in on the attack: Iva shooting two poisoned arrows at the creature but ultimately missing due to the creatures strong scales. Anastasia brought her posse of hunters and shot at the creature with blunderbusses. Libe found Iva's poisoned arrows and stabbed them into the creatures wounds created by Drystan. Three of them (Donnel, Davos and Iva) crafted a trap coated in poison. Donnel approached the creature, using his hook to real it in towards himself and the trap. He used his shield to block the attacks and latched the trap on it's arm. Iva sent a poisoned arrow into the creature's only good eye, blinding it completely. Libe cut off a large portion of the creature's hand, leaving it only two fingers. Anastasia and some of her guards pinned the creature down with poleaxes until it rallied and yanked some of it's limbs free. Drystan went in for the attack only to be swatted away and pinned to the ground. He used the close contact to find the creatures throat and slice it open, killing the fish monster.
They're job finished, they found a new girl, Abigail, hiding out watching them fight. She led them to the creature's nest so they could destroy all of it's eggs and future offspring.
Back in Rothenburg, the blind huntress Irelia was able to take down an Ogre using traps and arrows and brought it's head back to the guards to collect her reward. Unfortunately, the Captain himself was off on the hunt and unable to meet with her.
The King and his advisers met to discuss the troubles of the Kingdom as well as the recent and upcoming weddings. They congratulated the King's younger brother's, Hugo, wedding to Lord Filtiarn's daughter, Elaine. They briefly began discussing the upcoming wedding of the King's own daughter, Veltsa, and Lord Ballanger's son, Lancelin. Lord Weyenburg's absence was noted quickly and discussed as he has been sending his eldest daughter, Rosaline for some time. She stated that he has been very ill and unable to leave his manor and that she would serve on his behalf. The group then discussed the dangers threatening their city. Tensions were clear between Dromeus Ballanger and Lucian Filtiarn. They brought up the seemingly endless threat of vampires, lycanthropes and wendigos.
After the meeting itself was over, Dromeus and Lucian stayed behind to have a rather tense conversation. The two threw lightly veiled insults at each other until Dromeus took things too far, bringing up the death of Lucian's beloved wife.
Lady Eudeline Ballanger was invited to have dinner with her betrothed, Luther Filtiarn at their manor. Lucian was clearly perturbed during diner and drank his weight in wine, barely touching his food. Things got heated when Lucian made an unsavory comment about Eudeline's mother. He had a back and forth with his son, calling him a cheating man-whore with no chance of happiness, while Luther called his father an unfaithful hypocrite. After all of the other guests stormed out, Lucian and Eudeline were left alone. Lucian, clearly drunk, disclosed a closely guarded secret to Eudeline: Him and her mother have been having an affair for some time.
Commander Gruz surveyed the city with his guards until he came upon the docks. He took note of a crowd that had gathered so he went to inspect the goings-ons. He spotted the ship sinking in the bay and commanded a ship be readied for him and his guards to attend to the hunt out on the island. Arriving on the island, he found the hunters emerging from the cave having finished their job. They were escorted back to the mainland where Drystan offered to buy a round of drinks for the hunters after they cleaned themselves up.
After a night of drinking, the city awoke to the news of three Filtiarn guards having been murdered in the night. Teeth marks on their necks made it apparent that it was the doing of vampires. The small council had an emergency meeting regarding the incident. Having previously been in a bar fight with Ballanger guards, Dromeus's family was under some suspicion. He fired back, offering to pay for a bounty on the murderers. After some discussion, Dromeus revealed that he knew of a possible vampire commune that could hold the murderers. He told Drystan to gather the hunters for their next job.
Back at his manor, Dromeus conferred with Anastasia. He revealed that he knew his guards were the ones who attacked the Filtiarns and told her to kill them, which she had her men take care of. He found out the general location and information on the vampire commune to be used as a scapegoat.
The Hunters left for the vampire commune located between Rothenburg and Augsburg, on the edge of the Ondorro Forest. With some amount of stealth still on their side, they charge in and begin the attack. Many of the hunters charged in, using the chaos and surprise to their advantage. They took out a few right away, some proving more difficult than others. The blind huntress, Lia, made her way to a more secluded room down a set of stairs. She found herself alone with a prisoner who was begging for help. She found the key to the cage they were locked in and opened it, only to find herself pinned by the turning vampire. She got bitten before stabbing the creature off of her. Iva showed up and helped her out, giving her a potion to help with her blood loss.
Donnel was caught with a pitchfork in the back trying to defend Juniper. A loud roar echoed throughout the commune and the remaining vampires fled downwards. The hunters followed, finding themselves in a large room with an arena pit in the center. The rest of the vampires were there, many children and pacifists huddled against the far wall, protected by a handful of violent ones and one absurdly large vampire. While attacking the group, Juniper turned into a werewolf when grabbed by a creature. Davos fought her until she was injured enough to run away and back to Rothenburg where she was captured.
Back in Rothenburg, Rosaline was shopping in the market with her siblings when her younger brother, Charillos ran off. He found Mikhail and his wolf and stopped to pet her. Rosaline found them and they started chatting. Mistletoe came up and tried to sell a love potion to Mikhail who refused. Rosaline asked about a healing potion for her father, who had been quite ill. She revealed that they suspected him of having St. Anthony's Fire.
The sun was almost at it's highest point in the sky over the city of Rothenburg. The streets were filled with peasants and noblemen going about their daily lives. The marketplace was packed with those buying and selling goods, yelling atop each other, trying to make their voices heard. The cobblestone ground provided a tough surface for people to walk upon as they went about their days. To these commonfolk, it was just an ordinary day.
Inside one of the larger buildings near the guard barracks, heavily armored and armed men and women gathered. Some spoke amongst themselves while others sat quietly, waiting for someone to address the crowd. The building itself was one of the nicer ones, close enough to the richest manors in the kingdom and near the guards, it was often used as a place of gathering for the noblemen. It had tall enough ceilings that the many voices echoed about, making the room feel even larger. Tables had been set up with many seats, more than enough for those who had gathered. At the front of the room was a slightly raised platform which was not yet occupied.
Flaggins of ale were being passed around by servants as the last of the group filed in. This wasn't any ordinary swill, it was a fine ale, brought straight from the cellars underneath the castle itself. This type of generosity was not often seen by the commonfolk. The King and his council clearly took this very seriously.
As the last of the guests took their seats, a group of well armored guards made their way to the front platform. They took their places, swords in sheaths, standing up at attention. A hush began to fall over the crowd as one lone figure made his way to the stand. Brown strands of hair fell about his face, only some of it pulled back into a loose ponytail. His build suggested he was a quick yet strong warrior, strengthened by the longsword sheathed on his belt. He wore some leather armor, though not a full suit. His bracers were freshly cleaned, looking almost new. His clothing was of a higher value than peasants, but was not ornamented like those of the kingdom's nobles.
As he took his spot in the center of the guards, he turned to face the audience. His face matched his warrior appearance, rugged and scarred. His lips were down-turned and his eyes were stern. He stood, silent, for some time before finally opening his mouth to speak. "You all know why you're here, he began, his voice gruff but loud. "The many threats against our city and our kingdom has risen. The King and his council have decided to take action. Gathered here in this great hall are some of the finest men and women of Belvoir. Your strength and prowess are required this day for the good of our King and our Kingdom." He paused, letting his words sink in.
"King Gustavo does not take this matter lightly, I assure you. Many have died and many more will follow. He has called upon you all to be apart of the new Hunter's Guild. It is our task to seek and destroy the monsters that threaten our city and it's people. There will be great danger in this task, but also great reward. King Gustavo has set aside a large sum of coin for the brave souls who can help rid us of this mounting evil. If you have the strength, bravery and fortitude to destroy this evil, you will become rich men."
He lifted his head slightly, arms behind his back and, once again, addressed the crowd. "For those that don't know me, I am Drystan Haalard. I have spent over ten years in the city guard. I will be your Captain, if you choose to stay. If you have any fear in your hearts, I would advise you to leave now. As the Royal Hunters, we will be walking headlong into the mouth of the beast. If you falter, even momentarily, that may mean the death of your brethren or even yourself.
Drystan paused in his speech as a handlefull of people slowly got to their feet and left the building. He quietly grunted to himself, then reached into his pocket and pulled out a rolled up parchment with the royal seal. "Our first assignment comes from the King himself. Many of you are familiar with the isle just outside the docks in Trieste Sea. Many of you also know that word has spread of a monster recently appearing on that island. King Gustavo has asked that we gather a band of Hunter's together, take a ship out to the island, and slay the creature."
At this point, he began to pace, taking long strides across the platform all the while still watching the audience. "Now we are not entirely familiar of what kind of creature we are dealing with. It is said to be humanoid in appearance, but much larger. The fishermen who have encountered it and survived report that it is a creature of extreme strength. This monster seems to be more comfortable in water than on land. No one who has attempted to slay the beast has returned." He stopped his pacing and turned to face the crowd once again. "Hunters! If you think you have the skills needed to take down this creature, please come forward. We will be putting a team together based on skills needed for this particular job. If you feel you are at a disadvantage here, do not fret. We have plenty more jobs waiting after this one is finished."
Ryker watched the woman as she walked out of the building. He recognized the stain of blood on her garments immediately. He stared for a moment, stopping in his place. She seemed to be coming from a residential area. Someone must have died, he concluded as he turned and continued walking.
He stopped by a local pub and had a quick meal with a strong ale. It was fortunate timing of this new job as he had just about emptied his purse. He nodded at the barkeep and headed back to his room. The man he had seen while leaving earlier was gone and the innkeep was quietly sweeping. He disappeared into his room, unloading his gear and laying down in the bed.
The next morning he awoke with the dawn. He gathered his gear, packing everything he had into a small bag that he swung over his shoulder. He walked out of his room and to the counter the innkeeper was sitting behind. "I don't imagine I will be back for some time. Thank you for your hospitality." He left a few more coins on the counter and left. He walked down the streets, the early morning hustle and bustle just beginning. He breathed in the city air, many different smells mingling together to create a rather unique stench.
Coming upon The Rugged Fish, he entered and paused just inside the doorway. He looked around briefly before heading to Alexandra's room. He knocked quietly on the door and waited for a response.
Are we able to skip forward in time? I know there are others in their own time frames. I was planning on having Ryker go to sleep soon so we could skip to morning? But I don't want to step on anyone's toes.
"Now is fine," Ryker said, beckoning the young boy to come closer. He stood up, the water quickly dripping off of his scarred, muscular figure. He grabbed the towel and patted his face dry. Stepping out of the pool, he wrapped it around his waste and wrung out his hair. He walked over to his clothing and pick up each piece and brought it inside with him. He went back into the dressing room and finished drying off before putting his clothing on. It was still quite damp but he only had to wear it back to the inn. He grabbed his leather armor and slung his sword onto his back. He walked back out front and laid a a handful of copper Shards on the counter before exiting the establishment.
He made his way back to the inn he had been staying in, the rain noticeably softer, the sounds of the dock still very much ringing through the streets. When he got back to the inn, he noticed another patron sitting at the lone table, drinking out of a large mug with the owner. He shot them a quick glance before continuing to his room. They were clearly deep in conversation and paid him no mind. He closed the door behind him and laid down his leather. He took his sword off his back, unbuckled his belt, and carefully leaned his weapons up against the wall. He stripped down again and laid his clothes out to finish drying. He redressed with a simple tunic and trousers. He pulled his boots back on and once again strapped his sword to his back. As valuable as Oblivion was, he didn't trust it in this lowly inn by itself.
Emerging out of his room, he noticed the two at the table had suddenly stopped talking. He looked over and the guest was staring at him intently, a look of intensity in his eyes. Ryker stopped right outside his door, and stared back. The innkeep seemed completely oblivious. His body stiffened. He didn't know this man, he didn't know what he wanted. They stared for what seemed like an eternity before the man finally smiled softly and turned back to the innkeep, and continued their previous conversation.
Ryker paused, taking in what had just happened. Still not quite sure, he slower stepped towards the door. He left the building, pausing again, his eyebrows furrowed. Something wasn't right but he wasn't going to start a fight over a stare. Shaking it off, he began walking back towards the Delucian district.
Ryker barely moved at the sound of the young boy's voice except to open one eye, his good eye, to see who was speaking to him. "No, I'm fine," he replied, closing his eye again. "I won't be much longer."
As he sat, he took in all the noises, quiet chatter and water splashing. He suspected it would be a long while before he could return to a place like this. Even though he had grown used to the mud and grime of the road, it was nice to have the option of bathing in such a comfortable setting. Once they departed, any chance of getting clean would most likely be a lake or pond that they came across. He let out a deep sigh and opened his eyes again. "Actually, I should be going. This may be the last night in a long while that I sleep in a real bed, and I have a few more things to take care of before I can rest." He glanced over at the boy again. "If you could bring me a fresh towel, I will be on my way."
My favorites are:
-medieval/fantasy
-romance
-super powers or super hero
-psychological
-some sci-fi from time to time
I really enjoy original stories/premises for role plays but I'm also okay with doing something based in an existing world with original characters.
