I would have to agree on the indie market, but you know how it is. One indie gem comes out, everyone else copies.
But I mean if you want a game from someone who knows what they're doing you could simply buy a game from a known publisher.(But that didn't save us from COLONIAL MARINES) Though if you go into the xbox marketplace, you will find equally horrible indie games.
it's also going to be outdated in half a year. Almost all of the tech in premade desktops is at least a year old to start.

That sounds more of an issue of lack of maintenance rather than the fault of the computer. I've seen aging computers, but they mostly run slow- Not crash every 30 mins. I'd get that looked at asap.

I mean to be completely fair, I'd more readily say this as an argument in favor of consoles, what with the countless droves of terrible indy "games" made by 5 year olds with an etch-a-sketch populating the PC universe. At least when a console game shows up, you it's going to be an actually completed piece by someone who actually knows what they're doing.
All that said, I play both PC and console games on a regular basis and I think it's completely pointless to argue which one is better. They're just different, and I have no problem opening my Steam library one minute and booting up my 360, PS3, or Wii the next.
There are PC originals, but almost any game worth mentioning on PC will eventually come out on console. There are many games I enjoy more with a keyboard and mouse (mainly GPS games), but while PC has adaptability, Consoles have stability. I have never had a major hardware failure on a console while my computer crashes every half hour or so.
Sure, you guys keep hating on my xbox, and I'll just keep collecting my monthly free games and Xbox exclusives.

sucks to be you, there is no PC release. That's kinda what "Xbox exclusive" means.
