It was an early morning for Rick. He found himself unable to sleep and awoke before Sunrise. The nature man inside of him longed for a good morning walk, wich he did. He made his way outside while it was still dark, thoug the dirst rays of the sun could already be seen coloring the horizon red.
''A red Sunrise, blood has been spilled tonigth'' Rick spoke as he made his way through the forest. He stumbled upon some wild deers and a bald eagle let out his proud scream as he passed its nest. With a laughter Rick walked back, being within the forest had done his head and heart good.
He was still angry at Nora for spiking his drink, but he could not stay mad at her to long. She was his wife now and they ahd to talk through things. Rick knew that she had done it to protect him, a frail human being, from the cruel elder vampires. They were probably still stuck in another era, one in wich humans were nothing more than prey for vampire's. Even then, even if Nora had only seen him as a prey he would have still stayed at her side.
Just as Rick wanted to enter the mansiona again a noise caught his attention. It sounded like a care approached the mansion with full speed. Rick had guessed right as a car, Nora's car, came almost crashing around the corner. A being covered withinn blankets jumped outside. All to soon Rick realized it was his wife who had jumped out. With a concerned look at the sky he ran towards Nora. The first rays of the sun hit the ground as he lifted her up and ran into the house. Once inside Rick stumbld and fell to the ground, still holding Nora. He dove ontop of her, as if he wished to protect her from the burning light.
''You silly fool. That could have killed you!'' He yelled panicked as he looked into the clear eye's ''Are you alright my love?''
