Attention everyone.

If you've not updated this round, we're enacting the 7 day deadline starting today. Collabs are finishing up that were holding things up, and we're looking to move forward.

I don't think anyone actually needs to update, but if there's anything you want to do it need to (we'll be checking over the next few days), please do so.

She didn't know how, but it had happened. Rattle was practically on top of her and didn't even know it. Jason had hit him, drawing blood, and he was confused.

Angry.

They never mixed.

She prepared herself, because this was the best chance she could ever hope to get.

Heh. He smelled like burnt fur. Disgusting, just like him.

When the Jason made his move, she attacked.

Moving quickly, letting [Muffle II] do its job, she went for the back of his injured leg, blowing out a Breath attack at his injury. Behind the knee was her mark, ripping and tearing with fangs and venom.

If she succeeded in making a wound, she'd blast a Glob right into it before moving up his back towards his neck.

If she made it that far, she'd start tearing into it until he stopped moving or she was flung off.
Alice

Alice nodded in satisfaction as the mudslap was rendered useless, giving a congratulatory yell to Cici while encouraging her to keep up the great work.

Now then... The enemy was faster, since they were already moving, and she couldn't hope to repeat the bubble tactic at closer range....

"Wait for it....SMOKESCREEN!" she called out as the distance closed. "Follow up with some more Bubbles, luv!"

Blue looked on with detached interest, casually giving Hogan a light smack on his nose at the hissing. "So we all really need to go together? Doesn't it make infinitely more sense to split up? Mr. Macho wants the library and needs a ride like Hogan. Obviously that's a team. And Mr. Mysterious Cards here is already wanting to corrupt our little Princess, so that's a team. And it's not like I can't handle myself alone anyways." She glanced at her phone again, thinking to herself. "I can start at an arboretum if we're gonna split. Clubs aren't really my scene."

A comedy person, though. She hated jokesters, really, for there always seemed to be a hidden agenda. Letting your guard down, masking their own inane issues, pulling someone else to a lower level....

Making fun of the demon killing you.

She could take their fingers if this was one of those types. It wouldn't kill them....

She typed out a message quickly to her boss.

You have some explaining to do.
@PlatinumSkink
I know G is waiting on me, and I've got half a post see, but I'm still having a creative block at the moment.
Jason

Jason stood up as the meeting ended, surprised at his phone going off, letting Whimsy know he'd be back at the base momentarily, and then he set off. Creep had departed quickly, and Swarm was quickly behind her.

"Leaving so soon, Swarm?" he called out as he easily closed the distance. His eyes, hidden behind his mask, watched carefully. "I wanted to apologise for kinda screwing you back there. But this will be for the best, I'm confident of it."

He watched Creep take a corner and relaxed a little. A little distance out of sight and they could....

Well, do exactly that. The villain was gone without a trace.

Almost like a Mover or Stranger.... Jason thought absently, mentally shrugging it off. Not like it made a difference to him, in the end.

"Lovely chat. Now, however, I've got business to attend to." Jason said jovially before taking off back to the warehouse. The long way from rooftops, of course.

Walking in he moved to his usual seating, waiting for everyone to gather and figure out just what had been left for them.

He wasn't a leader, so he didn't bother looking at the mission details until Headhunter or Chatterbox did.

Rain was pleased. She'd successfully managed to work out a decent breath attack, and just in time!

She watched what could only be Rattle lumbering after a Pixie, at the Goblins crashing and advancing.

And there. The traitor.

Rain cocked her head, watching the girl make odd behaviors. That wasn't what she'd done before.

A trick? If it were Rain she'd pull a disappear and flank, just like she'd just done actually.

Would this traitor be so inclined?

She couldn't chance it, not when the others were already after Rattle and separating him for his death.

She moved, silently as she used [Muffle II] and cover, taking advantage of her natural stealth. She kept her attention on her surroundings while keeping track of the goblin.

Yeah, a Pad or whatever works for me.
Alice

Alice cocked her head to the side at the odd display happening before her. She glanced at Skylar, before chewing on her lip, her mind running through everything they were giving away. Full attack sets, what they couldn't do... They were giving away an entire strategy.

Absently she twirled a strand of hair while they got ready.

"You ready, Skylar? I've got a plan." she said softly, a wry smile lifting her lips. Just in time!

"Alright, Cici! Smokescreen! Can't Leer if you can't see! Follow up with a Bubble and then get some distance! But keep bubble going!" she called out in a firm voice. Part one: blind the enemy. Avoid and counter. Give Seabreeze an opening, with it's enhanced eyesight, and make this fast!

Ideally the bubbles would help cover from the mudslap, even just a little, and moving could help. Accuracy wasn't a concern here, afterall.

"Let's do this, Skylar!"
