Freeshooter I think you'll like what I've done with balistae, when I add the "Other Class" update of course.Which reminds me, what kinda of content do you guys want me to work on first as far as expansions? Classes, weapons/items, maps/modes? Other suggestions are welcome as well, anything reasonable you guys would want in the game.

a con stat

honestly I'd like you to focus on items and weapons. Like maybe make new and interesting items/weapons.
Well if that's the case I won't surrender. On that note...

Dain Engage Ayuna (-1,0) with Flux.

End turn.
I surrender as there's no feasible way for me to win.

Well since Flux left Ayuna with 4HP instead of 8, I needed to reroll that combat because Destro's 5dmg Javelin throw would kill her. Unfortunately, with a hit of 77%, Destro ended up unlucky on the new rolls.

I'd say it serve's him right for being cocky. lol

I actually kind of noticed that I would survive ahead of time and kept quiet, assuming he only had made a mistake. However, learning now that he had merely misunderstood the system that makes me feel a bit bad for not saying anything. So yes, I am OK with the tome-switching. Just rerun the calculations, if you will, give me a proper chance to possibly dodge this one as well in all fairness. Hahaha.

He needs to come on and re-specify what exactly he wants done though. And yes all effected actions will be completely re-rolled for.

Oh, okay then I'll just go edit my post..Sorry about not having been on recently but I gave myself (another) concussion and until recently the doctors have had me lay off the electronics.

Overall growth is Personal + Class, usually ends up between 60-100 for HP and 30-70 for other stats.15 is the average for non HP Class growths, and I was talking about base/caps because classes that have the same Class growth values will probably have different caps, which is what really matters in the long run.

Wait so does every unit use the lord's Asset/Flaw for growth and cap modifers or am I misunderstanding it?

So, um, should I continue posting commands, or should I wait for this discussion to subside, Olsted? Or do you want to switch to having used Flux instead?

I'd prefer if you'd wait but I can't really stop you.

Am I allowed to switch to flux, Light? Or in the very least could you answer the thing about 3 weight slowing a unit down by 2?
PlatinumSkink said
... What would adding constitution change, speed-wise? How does it work? I understand that it apparently somehow counter-acts weight, or something, but... How, exactly?

Assuming reasonable con is assigned there would be higher AS for most units. Your con stat is how heavy a weapon you can use with no AS loss. Say someone has 10 con and 7 AS. A weapon weighs 11 so they lose one AS so their AS is now 6.

Olsted I don't know what you're talking about, Fighters are probably the slowest axe-users, and their speed is only slightly less than Mercenaries. Barbarians and Wyvern Riders are pretty fast.

Are you talking bases or caps? I can't really argue this because I have no idea what the actual growths or caps are but +15 speed growth is still slower than most of the other classes' speed gains. I also wasn't really referring to this RP when I said axe users aren't renown for being fast but whatever.
No one said rescuing had to be implemented. "we don't need wight problems on top of it." Excuse me? You do realize that you already have weight problems right? If anything, axe users suffer the most under this system because of how heavy axes are + axe units aren't renown for being on the high end of the speed spectrum.

How would you possibly implement Con? how would it be chosen for the units, how would it work? wouldn't it obliterate the pairing system? it would also once again put axes and higher tier (steel, silver) weapons at a huge disadvantage to iron ones.

The exact same way any other stat was chosen for the classes. What do you mean how would it work? How would it obliterate the pairing system?

No one said axe weights or higher tier weapon weights had to remain the same. Axes are stupid heavy anyway and should probably weigh at least two less than they do in gba games. I fail to see this "huge disadvantage" you claim is there regarding steel and silver vs, iron. They're stronger for a reason and assuming every single unit does not have 5 con there is no "huge disadvantage". Do not forget that in the gba games enemies were weaker than the player's units whereas in this RP the units should be about the same.
