Can i ask a quick question? Can I use the sneak attack the rogue uses instead of the Ninja's sudden strike? I have a good character idea for the latter, but Sneak Attack beats the crap out of Sudden Strike.

yes, I think that is reasonable, particularly since I think this is looking to be a 3 person group.

What do you mean i have knowledge to guide everyone together! I am not moses!!!!

i did not say you would guide them, I said you know what is about to guide everyone if you can put the square route of 89 and pi together,

This is just making me worry that I've got no way to actually meet up with the other characters.

You commented before OOC about finding others to help you with that little thing you found. I am telling you now that solo you are not going through the front door of that thing barring Tzeentch himself favoring your rolls. You can be heading up to the mid level of the hive from the lower levels looking for people to help you with what you found and get caught up with these shenanigans.

I have no idea what I'm meant to post given all that. Even if I was one of the named guys, I would have no idea what to post. It doesn't really do much for scene-setting or getting to meet the other characters.

I am setting the strategic scene due to the disparate groups allowing you guys to set your own tactical scenes. This is an open and living world so you can be almost anywhere, there is something that Muse knows about that will end up "guiding" her group and Imagi and Crayt together. You character though is not coming down from the upper hive levels and so i do not know as well were they would be at the moment. Depending on where you put your character when this starts depends on what I post in regards to them.

For Crayt and Imagination for example once Imagination posts posts I will take what descriptors they used to find a place in the hive where they fit and put little X's on their locations. So far Crayt is going to really, really love where his description puts him. Panicking civilians all over the place, mid to lower hive level and appears seedy. Hehehehe, I hope you got around to reading a little bit about some of the other tomes Crayt because right now you are the person with the best shot of getting what is about to happen.

Zed, when you can check your PMs from me.
IC is up.
The planet Proditorem, Sector Geminus, Ultima Segmentum. A hive world with a population of 100 billion, or it did, before the cultist uprisings. Over the course of several months this hive world was overrun with Chaos uprisings. Cults are common enough within the region know as the Trail of Dust but cultists rarely work together as well as they seemed to at the beginning of the uprisings. The PDF and arbites could do nothing as they came up from the lower hives and pushed well into the mid-hive when their momentum began to slow. Smelling blood in the water pirates, warbands, and any who believed their was something to be gained began to come to the world to prey upon it in it's moment of weakness. This was shattered though when the Imperium at last got aid to the planet. Several regiments of Imperial Guard, an arbites task force, and rumors even abound of the Inquisition having a presence. The Imperium Navy was fast to act mere moments after leaving the warp torpedoes and strike craft were inbound on the vessels preying upon the world chasing them away and stranding some of the pirates and voidfarers on the world below. The task force while impressive was unable to pursue the chaos vessels beyond the orbit of Proditorem however and thus some now lurk in the asteroid field some distance away.

Even as the fleet secured orbit though the guard was not to be outshone landing light infantry in the upper hive to prepare defenses and setup command and control as well as in the mid-hive almost right on top of the cultists pushing up through the hives. Within the capitol hive of Celatum, they made sure to show a strong presence rapidly shattering and forcing any chaos aligned forces down deeper into the hive while securing almost half of the mid-hive in a few days. A wanted list for the most infamous individuals is now being circulated about with what information they have, the infamous pirate Brutus Lanius Nero and his crewmembers including Choirmaster Verdi and Archmilitant Celeste Davayos are actively pursued wanted by the arbites for a thousand crimes, the reviled Tzeentch sorcerer Embra Parasitif and his allies and cohorts such as Malignus Raevan are prime targets for a dozen Imperial administrations for their acts in the name of their dark god. The goal of the Imperium is to drive them out and kill them in the open. They know they are on the world and will not allow them or any other of the arch-heretics off the world.

Cut off from the upper hive, the outer hive ring, any docks, and any teleportariums the Imperium knows they and all the other cultists are now cut off, forced down in the mid-hive or lower hive it is only a matter of time until the noose closes as the Imperial forces slowly yet assuredly secure the hive one level at a time.
I got something out kind of fast, it is an okay post I guess though at least it will help to get things moving forward.
Markus listened to her story feigning rapt attention of it while he more studied her body language and the tone and inclination of her voice. There was nothing he could read that set anything off in his head so he knew this would be a longer interrogation. Near the end of the woman's story his new interrogator arrived. Turning to her he decided to respond to her first, "I assume you have read the report Anna," he took the barest of moments after using her first name to check for a reaction from his un-asked for familiarity with her before continuing, "Therefore I wish for you to live up to your title. What we have here is a enigma, a conundrum, an impossibility." At this he look at the guardswoman sidelong before turning to face her.

"Have you ever seen power armor before trooper? Catching two astartes in the head and finding a weak spot is not something easily done. See armor is meant to protect vital areas more than most, naturally joints have to allow movement which is why those areas are reinforced as they can be. You see the helmet is meant to take a solid hit and keep a normal human alive, an astartes should have shrugged off a hit to the head from your gun and punched you through a wall. If you hit below there is a very strong ring of armor to deflect shots down and away. What this means is you hit exactly between the helmet and chest plate. This would have been an impossible task with a solid slug weapon since the round would not fit through the gap which you managed to hit firing off snap shots at an enemy bearing down on you, twice." He balled his hands into fists and placed them both on the table looking down on the guardswoman giving her his best Inquisitorial glare before rising and turning to Cassius again.

"Interrogator, consider this part of your formal training, interrogate our subject here, I want you to find out how she survived, I want to know how she did the impossible." With that he walked to one of the corners of the room and proceeded to lean against the wall staring directly at Aura awaiting for Anna to begin the process.
Sorry for not getting a post up, i work this weekend so it may be hard but I will try to get a post up.
Honestly I have no preference on character archetypes for this and that is a pretty cool character concept.
