Well, while we're waiting for Soren to come back and explain, I drew Dee.
actually that's one of the reasons my post is taking so long, I'm not to sure whats going on. (and school keeps distracting me whenever I want to ask about it)
Alyss got up when Merlin asked them to get in a circle. She knew the situation was rather serious, but she couldn't help but feel the same excitement she felt when she first realized that she was leaving her old world for a new one. She was going to go on an adventure filled with monsters and hero's, the kind of adventure Magi always wanted...Alyss sighed and tried not to think about her sister right now. Instead she took a deep breath and stepped forward, taking the only other girl there hand, and waited for someone else to take her other hand. She was curious who these other two travelers would be, teenagers like them? Or experienced adults? And what would Traverse town (and why did worlds have "town" in the name?) be like? Well, Alyss was about to find out (well, maybe not that "Town in the name" question but that wasn't really putting a strain on her curiosity).
welp, sorry about taking so long...
Felice, while surprised at how exactly the inside of the lair looked, wasn't surprised at the way it made her feel. Like it was trying to suck out her hope and courage...The whole area gave off this slight aura that made her feel that way. It wasn't to strong though, just like a quiet buzz that you could get used to after awhile. Felice was sure that if something that had a stronger aura got close, she would be able to detect it...hopefully. She looked down at her soul gem. With just her ability, she hadn't used to much of her power, so that was good. She might have to try and turn the ability up while she was in here. She just hopped that it wouldn't make the feeling this world was giving her worse. Felice was still kind of scared though...and hearing the uncertain, and even a little shaky tones of some of the others voice didn't do much to really improve that feeling. But Felice still walked up to the front of the group, and summoned her weapon, saying. "I guess I'll lead the way then...Being the navigator and all with my powers. I'll make sure to be on guard for anything trying to get close...or for the Warlock." Felice told them. Then she took a breath and took a step towards where she thought she was starting to pick up the Warlock's aura.
I'll post tomorrow then (been busy today)
I was going to wait until Hangedman, but should I go ahead and post?
When Felice found her friends, they had apparently just stopped some people from killing themselves, so Felice missed the chance to see everyone using their powers. Tracy seemed to have it the worst off though since she looked like she was about to throw up...But thankfully she didn't. Felice was going to say something to her but then Tracy said she was done, and that combined with the kind of creepy smile that appeared on her face a few seconds later, prompted Felice just to move on to other things. "Yeah, I'll tell you about Julia and my new theories later." Felice told Ancia and the others before turning to look in a certain direction. "As for finding the lair..." Felice closed her eyes and concentrated. She didn't pick up anything but the sounds of energy from her friends around her for a minute or so. But then suddenly, like someone just pressed play on stereo, Felice heard it. It was louder then before, and...was worse then before as well. Like the screeching of violins had joined the chorus of nails on chalk board. Felice only had a gut feeling that this was what the warlock sounded like, and it wasn't like she could ask Dora if she was correct in assuming since Dora couldn't hear what she did. So Felice just had to go on gut instinct. "I...I got it. C'mon." She said as she started to lead them to where the sound was coming from. The closer Felice got to where the lair entrance was, the worse the sound became as more and more horrible noises were added to the the song that was coming from the entrance to the lair. Felice could start to feel something else...A sense of dread and fear. A sense that if anything in the lair got her, it would enjoy seeing her in pain, enjoy seeing her die a slow and agonizing death. A sense that inside was a creature of pure evil... It got so bad that at one point she had to stop completely. She covered her face with her hands and tried to take deep breaths. And that's when the sound of the lair's energy quieted, being drowned out by the sounds of the energy of those around her, her friends. Felice looked up at them and smiled a little. She wasn't alone in this, her friends would be by her side. With a nod to herself she continued on. Finally she lead them through some alley ways and stopped when she saw it. The entrance to the Warlock's lair. It looked kind of like a black hole, or maybe a black Whirlpool, slowly rotating and it felt like if you stood to close, it would suck you right in... "This is it. The entrance to the lair...I think the Warlock is somewhere inside..." Felice told the group.
alright, thank you
so how would tracking the lair go? What does a Lair even look like? Is it like a building or something? Also since Felice is going to be leading everyone to where the warlock is, would that mean Felice's post would be the first to see the warlock? If so, what would this warlock look like?
