Wrenna didn't realize how much of a gamble the tactic she chose was until she saw Soreth stab at the face of her clone. Perhaps if the one he had tried to stab at was her, she could have blocked it. That didn't matter now though. Wrenna quickly used another wind spell, along with her last clone, shortly after his hit connected with the now destroyed clone, to send them both at Soreth. With a little bit of luck, she would be able to hit him hard enough to end this.
okay then! thanks!
So I imagine the battle is almost over, and I remember you mentioning that the battle stops cause of Soreth's condition? I was going to have Wrenna try to hit him with another lightning spell. should I hold off on that?
Wrenna cursed under her breath as she watched Soreth get sent across the room relatively unhurt. The speed boost hadn't given her to much of an advantage. He was good at defensive spells making him more annoying then hard to deal with. Wrenna paused for a moment when she heard him start to say something. Another spell? She had no idea how powerful this guy was spell wise. From what she saw so far he wasn't very powerful but she also thought this battle would only take a minute so it was time to stop underestimating him so much.

Wrenna quickly decided that speed wise she probably wasn't a match for him alone. So she quickly casted an illusion spell, making two clones of herself. These clones couldn't physically attack him, but if Soreth couldn't figure out which one of her was the real one, she might be able to get a attack in. Of course, the clones could only take one hit so she had to hope he didn't hit one or herself before she got a hit on him. Once the clones were ready they all charged at him.
Wrenna should have expected the Soreth to know some spells. It was too bad one of those spells had to be a reflect spell. Wrenna had to dodge out of the way when it was reflected back at her, to busy to notice Soreth was coming back at her till it was almost too late. She felt the tips of his claws cut across the skin of her upper left arm. The cuts weren't too deep and probably wouldn't leave any lasting damage other than a scar (that is unless the claws were poisoned...) but Wrenna knew she had to step it up. She rushed after Soreth, using a wind type spell to push her from behind and speed her up to catch up with him as she swung her sword at him again.
Yeah, same. Also I may do a lot of final fantasy esque spells XD
Wrenna tried swinging at him as Soreth tried to dodge. The metal of her sword scraped the metal of his gauntlets though as he moved out of the way. Wrenna had to admit, for such a sickly looking guy he was fast. Wrenna had to do something about that. "Thundra!" She yelled as she shot lighting at him, hoping to paralyze him, maybe take out his wings at least.
The more Wrenna saw of this boy, the less impressed she was. The cloak must have almost been to much for him cause he almost lost his balence when he finally took it off. And the armor did more to make Wrenna feel impressed towards the craftsman that made it rather then Soreth. Actually, it made him look a lot tiner. The most impressive aspect of him were his wings and tail which looked healthier then the rest of him. Of course, Wrenna herself wasn't to majestic or mighty looking in her simple armor, but she had plenty of muscle and a healthy complexion so she felt pretty confidant right now.

Wrenna watched as Soreth launched into the air and then start straight towads her, claws outstreched. Sure, the guy wasn't very strong, but sharp metal didn't need much force to be deadly. Wrenna jumped out of the way of the charge and then turn to run at him as he continued in his path, hoping to attack him from behind.
"That's so mean!?" Wrenna exclaimed when she heard that. For the love of all that was holy...a demon king was not supposed to say that...She took a deep breath. This wasn't getting her anywhere. Right now, this was the demon king as no one else was around to rebuke his claims and while this was not how her father described it, this would have to be the fight...at least for now.

"Okay King," Wrenna said as she took a couple of steps back, noting the look of worry sill in his face as he put on a brave expression, "Let's get this over with." With that she pointed her sword at him and waited for him to make the first move.
okay, and just out of curiosity, what does his prophecy say?
