Laurel Greenethorne
Location: Mountainous area outside of Aberlyne

Wiping her tears away Emily...no...Laurel Greenethorne started to berate herself. "Is this all you're made of? One silly little thing happens and you fall to pieces? What happened to being a strong independent woman and all that? No, this is not ok. Time to grow some ovaries.

Getting up Emily...again no Laurel, gotta remember she's Laurel now. And Laurel is definitely a strong independent woman. Her last name is Greenethorne. Thorn is in the name, obviousy that means she's not some wilting lily who falters in the face of...whatever the hell this is.

Heading towards the road, she noticed a heavy amount of wolves spawning. 'This is the heaviest spawn rate for monsters I have ever seen' she mused thoughtfully. Approaching the beasts, a pack of wolves headed right for her, picking up the scythe, she swung it with surprising skill, unbidden a word came to her lips, "sweep" and she swung the blade through the group of them, feeling it bite into them, left a feeling of power in her very bones.

Finishing out the swing, she brought it back and cut one of the beast in half. Continuing her barrage of attacks, she quickly cleared the field. Excited she laughed loudly. Jumping around she headed down the road.

Waving and smiling the dwarf approached and introduced himself. "G'morning mon cherie! Don' tell me a pretty ting like you is stuck in teh game too. Awful shame, but what you gonna do? Anyway, where are my manners? My name Jethro, Jethro Roranson here, but back home It's Marcus. Pleasure to meet you! So, what's a high level gal doing in these parts?"

Shock spread across Emily's face, the dwarf had a creole accent...say what now? This man is a character all right. listening to him talk was an interesting experience, but she caught on to what he was saying.

"Do you know what's going on? Because I'm honestly so lost right now." Blushing she ducked her, "my name is Emily...wait...my name is Laurel Greenethorne, my real life name is Emily. And am I a high level character? I think this was my brother's account. So I don't know how to do anything or check my stats"

Shrugging her shoulders, Em...Laurel waited patiently for his response, rocking on her heels.

Don't f)%((%)ck with the white mage.

F)%((%)ck yeah!

On a related note, my character isn't actually a white mage, anthropomagics can be used that way. However, the magic has one of the most dangerous (for enemies) level of skill in killing. She can stop the heart, attack the nervous system, pull the water from the cells within the brain, cause an aneurysm, etc etc. The only reason she is a non-combatant is because her opponents are the dead, and dominion over the living isn't good there.
I hope my post had the right feel.

Also, that was the most dialogue heavy post I have ever made :O
El

Watching the Drow attack the man with her words, and finally with what he could have had. At least for some time the joy of his youth and health. She was sure the only thing that saved his life was her vindictiveness, what better curse for a man who is looking for death?

And that thought is what pushed El to anger.

"Listen to me young man you have not lived long enough to understand old age, you are barely more than a child to me. But even one such as you can understand that seeking death is a fool's errand. There is no turning back from that fateful encounter. Have you not thought of those who would mourn your passing?" The words were ground out between jaws tightened in anger.

"What do you know of death?" Jerking the cowl off of her face, she revealed her appearance. "Look at me and see, my very blood kills me. I must devour the flesh of animals and men to breathe the next day. I hide in shadows, and under the blessing of a Goddess whose dedicates would scorn and kill me. I fear the very thing that gives you life, for it brings me nothing but pain and death. You are a fool and coward." Her righteous anger drew her words tight with emotions she barely concealed on any given day.

"And you speak of sins. I watched your people drag life and civilization out of the bones of the iron coast, I watched the rise and luxuries of your people as they paraded my forests. I did not strike your people down, hoping that one day you could learn from your own mistakes. Now I regret not slaughtering the men from that time. Look where it has brought us? And when the necromancer rose, I wished him luck. For his was a just campaign, revenge on the people who betrayed and killed his family. And then when he sought peace, it was again your people who betrayed him. Now instead of looking for death, climb off of your high horse, and stand tall, clean your slate. Wrap your falsehood of a persona around you and act like a man. You are more than your wishes and desires, you are a servant of the empire and it needs you to fix this, not throw your life away. If your age is such a problem, ask one such as I or the Drow to change it. If your sins are such a heavy burden, remember you are here seeking forgiveness. The gods favor those who act, not those who rush to their own death. For you are close to losing two companions this day, the way you are now? You might as well draw the High Elve's blade and slice your throat, for me to feast on your corpse. For you are worth no more than the cattle led to slaughter at this time." Her scorn and fury left her breathless, she barely noticed the flush riding on her face, or the weakness the sun brought her.

"Now will you lose your pride and live? Fight for the survival of all, and not die as a fool unprepared, due to sins that are only half deserved?"
El won't have any issue, she has to use magic to maintain her own health. to her you'd be someone with a similar situation to her, not an unnatural occurrence. Though since your youth is an apparent illusion that would be something that could offend her. Or at least make her want to mock you (in her head).
@AtomicNut Uh what do you mean by answer? As in a response to Gripus? Or in the OOC? Cause if it was the former I was waiting for you to respond, if it's the latter, what was the question?

However if you do want us to post before you reply, El has a bit of a rant she wants to go on.

Gripus cavalier attitude towards his impending death would strike a nerve for her, since she is currently dying because of her mixed race, and she is going on this trip to find a permanent cure for that issue. She can't understand Gripus' side, to her death is akin to losing, and not a hopefully peaceful respite.
Ok, sounds good.

Sorry that I've been slow to post...
@LostDestiny He did post. It was short, and he didn't interact with anyone, but I think that had more to do with time constraints or writer's block.

I don't have much to say, no one's interacting with me, so I need a few people to post, so I have a little meat in my post. My character makes interactions difficult, so the bulk of my posts are heavily reliant on other people.

I did not think this through :p

Normally I play super friendly people, so this guy's a little outside my comfort zone! But I'm working on something and will have it up soon.@Song Book
Hahahah, I'm just really excited about this rp, and might be a tad impatient :p
