Honestly, I'm game for pretty much anything, barring a franchised universe, lending to the more serious side of things.

Although glancing at the current roleplays, there aren't many fresh ones without hundreds of posts to wade through.

I used to roleplay all the time, not but a few years ago. I lost my good players, and ever since I have struggled to move on and find new people that I jive with. I've dabbled in a handful of other roleplaying sites, but have been pretty much disappointed in all of them. I'm hoping this place is different. I need it to be. Full of life and people who give a damn about story. Who like building things. Who don't care about ego or popularity. That has something I want to be a part of. Otherwise, playtime is ogre. I don't think I can be bothered to keep trying this anymore.

Anyway, with that out of the way (I don't normally make introduction posts, couldn't you tell?), I'll just say I'm looking forward to meeting you all, and I'm a lot less serious than I might seem. Look, I'll even tell you a joke!
