Hey guys! I just wanted to tell you all! You're doing a shit job!

______________________________________

Hey guys! I just wanted to complain about that you are doing a good job! How are you even allowed to do a good job? That is not a thing you are supposed to do. Doing a good job, that is. Usually people are shit. But for some reason, you are not and it bugs me a lot!
Well... I can relate with the issue of OOC being a lot. I mean... I have days where I don't look into the OOC, then decide to do so and I have literally 10-15 pages of conversation, mostly related to stuff that doesn't even concern me in the slightest.
If I arrive on the last page I try to at least scroll so far up as to catch the beginning of a conversation, but reading through all the gibberish, most of it I don't even understand in the first place because of 2 main reasons, these being;
1. I don't speak English natively. Now, I know that concept might be hard for some people to get, seeing as I do appear have quite a good grasp of the English language, but nevertheless, there are certain issues of communication concerning information trying to reach my brain
2. I don't internet. At all. With that I mean, I just don't get most pop culture references. I don't want to force my stupidity on others, so I just keep my mouth shut and skip the posts, even if they might contain useful information. I wouldn't know that because I just don't have a suitable Enigma Machine to decipher the code
causes me headache as much as this post will to anyone trying to read it, because with this, I probably have written the most convoluted and complicated, maybe even longest sentence in the entire history of this OOC and I am freakishly proud of my nonsensical achievement...

I'd say that it's a medium armory upgrade, so five credits makes sense to me.

Turns out I have exactly 6! So... hooray!

@Abillioncats

Awesome sauce. Yeah, now would be a good time for that. Both you and @PyroDash888 just need to post something up and ask Gren what he's doing here and he'll explain that he and Shiro are going to get some materials to upgrade weapons and stuff. That way they can take some orders from the two girls and work on it between/after helping Sangue. They can even tag along, though I think Emerald is going to be taken back to the infirmary. And honestly, IC Gren wouldn't let Emerald come with him if he knew she needed to rest up anyways. But he would still put those rockets on her weapons!

I'm not sure if I can write anything tonight. Might have to relocate the posting to tomorrow morning. Actually this morning, since it is already 1:20am
@harinezumikouken@Lugubrious@Prince of Seraphs

How much creds will this one take, then?
Mhmm, mhmm. I imagine that Skyra is a pretty strong girl, so I wouldn't be surprised if she's got a kung-fu grip for her composite blade bow. So, how does things look so far for Skyra's upgrade? Two blades that can connect at the hilt to form a bow, keeping her own quiver of dust-tipped arrows and such. Uses her semblance for long-range support. Oh, and I guess that since she can combined her two blades together, she can also use it as a sort of bladed staff if she holds it by the middle. Lots of twirls and dervishing me thinks. It'd certainly seem like a RWBY weapon.

@Lugubrious

Since Luu~ summed it up pretty good.

Aye, exactly like that.
Hmm... Perhaps in addition to a weapon upgrade, a possible semblance upgrade? Or at least a bit of an elaboration on its effects. Right now her semblance allows her to effectively telepathically control her sword: what if we can do the same with arrows? Give them a bit more force when shot, and if she's sniping she can use her semblance to help her aim. This way Skyra has long range abilities and can serve as her teams' Sniper, taking out long-range opponents.

Yeah, I thought of that. I don't think it'd be very far fetched to twist her semblance in a way that, instead of accelerating her swords around her that she would be able to boost an arrow away from her. Either that or it'd give her a boost in draw weight, which directly translates into the speed of the projectile.
@PyroDash888 interesting, interesting. And how do you feel this affects Skyra's abilities as a whole? Why change from a gun to a bow, and how would it be an upgrade for her? I imagine that go the route of Hawkeye and gain some mad aim with her bow as well as a variety of trick arrows to control the battlefield. Some CC stuff like smoke, flash, oil slicks, or even entanglement could be additional ways for Skyra to increase her strength and utility.

Well, yeah. But for now, she is still primarily a close combat Damage Dealer. Especially since her semblance is pretty much... very limited to close range...
I feel it will be a gradual change. She won't just be able to snipe every bad motherfucker from the get go.
But I guess what you mentioned is probably the long term goal.
She barely uses her guns right now because she feels they are useless, since they can't hit anything unless you are already close to the enemy. And then you could just as well slice them with the swords.
@Lucius Cypher
Well, I am basically replacing the gun-mode with the bow-mode. So, no more gun, but she has to wear an additional part of equipment, the quiver containing the energy arrows, non-homing, of course. Later on she might be able to get specialized arrows, like explosive arrows or corrosive arrows, but they are not included in the "standard package", I think.
I fear that I probably don't have the creds for a weapon change and the twin sister plot...
