Posting rate/length? I'm considering this as a possible side-roleplay for corners when I don't have much time write much else but can't stand to look at life in the given moment.
She grimaced as she saw what he was doing and decided it was about time to fight back. She braced herself for a sudden drain in her strength and swung her glaive in a sweeping motion in front of her, five blue identical copies of the glaive appeared in front of her, all of the flew at dizzying speeds melting the obsidian as it flew towards her. Once she was done anybody who was paying close enough attention would notice she was shivering and her fingers showed noticeable signs of frostbite. she slowly flew towards the ground and pointed her own glaive at the man and her cloak suddenly changed to a very dim shimmer. All five witch-blades flew at him.

This is a world in which there are five races: gnomes, elves, humans, trolls, and druids. The races have no current truces (other than the druids and elves) and are considered enemies. Gnomes are skilled in stealth and assassination, Elves fighting and good judgement, trolls strength, humans ingenuity, druids magic. While he was doing this the girl's eyes followed him with curiosity. When she realized what he was doing she gripped he glaive and flipped it back towards her and put her right leg over it as if it was a witch's broom, then she took off. As she settled in the air about ten feet up she looked drained as if she had jumped up there with her own strength, her cloak looks a little less bright.
The girl throws out her arms in front of her and braces her self for the impact the blue sphere-shaped shield glows brighter till it almost looks tangible.
