As Rafael went down under the flying Liz, he smacked his head against the floor with a plunk. Seth pulled her off of Rafael, and flipped him onto his stomach and used a quick tie to tie his hands together. Still pointing his gun at Rafael, he backed up.

Rafael slowly came to and started muttering, his face against the floor. "You'll never survive. They already think your the traitor. There are more of us in the agency than you know. You will never keep her safe."
Thomas pulled her into his arms for a moment. "Calm down. We're O.K. We'll do what you say and go hide at the school. Maybe once your safely there, I can leave and try to go get help. What ever is blocking my cell phone can't keep blocking it forever. There must be a radius. If I can just get outside the radius, I can call the state police." His cell phone still had a bit of a charge left; enough to call a few numbers before it died.
I am still in, but I will try to take it easy and post when I am ready. Thank you for understanding. The truth is though, that I enjoy our RP more than the others which do not require much thought on my part.
As she leaned into me, and whispered in my ear, I became lost in the fantasy. It was a fantasy like a sailor's life; always at sea and waiting for those brief moments of passion which highlighted the long months at sea. It was a pleasant fiction. I remember whispering back. "And I supposed that once in a long while, she would come with me, to Bora Bora or Casablanca, and we would have second and third honeymoons, under other stars, but mostly she would keep a light burning for me in our little sea side cottage."

It hurt a little, to be honest, to think about these things. With my sister living in one fixed location, family was not something I had. Her pleasant fantasy was just that, a fantasy. I could not imagine finding such a situation, or a family, for myself. The world had thrown other dice for me, and long time before. First my parents died, and then my uncle. Someday it could be my sister, and then there would only be me. I figured that it was what fate had decided for me long ago, and it felt foolish and selfish to ask any woman to buy into my ill fated existence. Maybe I had done something in another life to deserve this, or maybe God hate me? Either way, any woman who truly understood how my world worked would run, rather than walk away. I was sure of it.

I remember sitting there, with her head against my shoulder and my arm around her, for at least a half hour or so. It was the most human contact I had had in months, possibly years, and I soaked it up like a sponge. Little did I know that there were some prying eyes from the kitchen doorway, or I would have jumped up at once. I certainly would never have wanted to cause Alice any trouble. It was good that I did not know at the time, because I needed that time with her, like a flower needs the sun. In a moment of weakness, I turned my head and kissed the top of her's, lingering for a moment against her hair. "Thank you for the story. It was a real fairy tale, but pleasant none the less."
Seth almost regretted his decision when a random hail of gun fire came out from the kitchen doorway. Suddenly, the other gangster flew backwards, with a bullet between his eyes. Seth used the confusion to fly out from behind the couch, and tackle Rafael. He slammed into his body, as he flew over the couch, and barely missed being shot himself. What followed with a fight like none he had ever been in before. Rafael fought like a caged animal, swinging his pistol like a club. It hit Seth in the side of his head, barely missing knocking him out altogether. He managed to stay on his feet, as Rafael brought his gun up to finish him off.
Roger finished with his work and decided to check on the captain. He found the first mate knocking on the door. "What's the problem?"

"She has not taken food for over a day and has not been to her berth to sleep either. She can't keep on like this."
Well, be safe. I hope it goes well for you and thank you for serving.
Martin did not give it another though. The other guard was approaching quickly, but was not yet in range to use his weapon. The guard with the sword was only one man. He dove forward, thrusting his staff out to hit the guard in the stomach. The guard folded in half, and then Martin hit him in the head, with the but of the staff, but not with full force. "Quick, change into a horse and let me ride you. It's our only hope of escape!" Martin felt sick that he had been forced to attack the man, and cause him injury. He only hoped that the injuries were ones that he could recover from quickly. The guard was only doing his job, but if they were caught, his friend would likely be burned at the stake.
