AHHHH! Sorry.> < Editing as .... soon as I wake up for real... my bad.
Fixed? Yes? No? More? Less? I feel like a twat now so someone help me. ;____;
Also, sorry it IS so long -- leaving it up to technology leaves it rather open, yet taking the time to provide limits at the same time.
Kay, sorry that took so long. .

Name/Area of Origin: Silva, Silicon Valley

Age: 25

Appearance

(Shorter, actually. About 5'5") The cloak (doesn't actually drag the ground and is more of a greyish-silver, also thicker), hanging to gently kiss her ankles is her trademark. It's hard to hide her face in the cloak, but she always tries clumsily. The only people for sure to see her face are her victims and temporary associates, but it's not really difficult for someone to catch a glimpse every now again. Otherwise, she never takes the cloak entirely off when on a job, as it is basically her lifeline. On top of her head, under the hood, are a pair of goggles. Silva is nimble, allowing her to be agile, silent, and able, although this makes her very frail, where the cloak comes in to hide her small stature.

Weapon/Method of Choice: Silva's cloak is actually her best weapon. Covering her arms to her wrists and drifts down towards her feet, the cloak is made of military-grade light-bending technology, rendering her nearly invisible when active and is usually how she sneaks to her target and attach a chip to their head or neck (made by own hand to be untraceable back to her), one than can only be applied by hand but that can remotely shock and destroy brain and/or nerves in the spine. Of course, this technology has it's own power grid inside the cloak and is limited to ten minutes of activity at a time, with a ten minute waiting period in between. Her sleeves contain launchers on top of her right arm for the fireballs magicians use, unable to cause harm, but able to cause heat and alarm. She also uses flint finger tips to snap sparks into the spark paper and smoke paper lining the inside of her cloak, making it easy for her to cloud a room to her advantage or for her escape. The goggles atop her head utilizes magnification, infrared, and thermal technology, allowing her to see what she needs to see and earpiece technology to advance her hearing when needed. In addition to the launcher on her right are, she has a dart shooter on her left that shoots darts of her own creation to slowly paralyze a person, or simply slow them down depending on the conditions (size of target, immunity, afflicted area, etc). She has extra ammo in the pockets of her cloak, ranging from the darts to zapping pellets (no more painful than a hornet sting), along with small, harmless tracer darts she created herself, meant to not be felt, but still not impossible. On her wrists are light-weight metal gauntlets that house the launching mechanisms she uses, both of which also house and an expansive smoke system for escape purposes but the left one also has a screen that serves as a GPS, map, and a tracker for her tracer darts, while both gauntlets are made sturdy enough to aid her in combat. All technology Silva uses has it's own limit of power that the goggles and earpieces can both inform the condition of, although she has customized her "power pack" to be able to absorb power from any source of electricity -- the larger the voltage, the faster it charges.

In her black SUV is a spare 'power pack', a generator to recharge her packs if she has no other options, and a tool kit for maintenance. Like the common assassin - or thief - Silva carries around both a long-bladed switch blade and a glock on her belt, neither of which she is proficient with. Although she can handle herself in hand-to-hand combat, it's basically just enough to make for an escape with an open-handed, opportunistic fighting style.

Personality: Silva grew up silently and a little snarky in San Fransisco, so she's used to ignoring people when she feels they don't need to be heard. Becoming a genius at a young age has left her cocky; genius's never fail and the cocky never die, right? Silva sometimes acts as if the wires around her (especially in her hometown) are her own nerves and veins, her brain reacting to her surroundings as if they were parts of her own body and the natural power sources were her adrenaline, trying to give her way to her location the best she can. She'd like to act unattached from everything, as if she were less of a human and more of one of the many mechanical creations of hers, although she knows very well how emotional she can be in the blink of an eye -- even if it's simply the failure of a mission.
I finally got my character idea. Is this still going on?
[Ahead are spoilers for a game that's a few years old, and also the story the game followed, not the story I plan to use. In fact, everything here is simply to be used as a base for what we create out of it.]

In Pandora's Tower the video game, a girl named Elena is cursed with "The Beast Curse", an affliction that slowly turns her into a beast basically fated to destroy Imperia, the continent they live on, divided into ten countries. To go off on a small tandem, there are actually only nine now because one, the country of the the Vestra tribe no longer exists. The longer she goes without eating the meat of a creature that lives within the thirteen of Pandora's Towers, the more transformed she becomes. Her transformation is one of .... well, total grossness, and down the line causes her to dawn pulsating purple-like flesh riddled with holes and marks, then eventually tentacles of the same shades, and so on.

The Towers

Pandora's Towers are a set of ancient towers creating a fortress that hangs above a hole in the earth, called "The Scar", tethered to it by giant chains rumored to hold The Scar together and keep it from ripping open the world into the "Other World", which is completely unknown. The towers are rumored to once be used as a place of worship, but the continent of Elyria sent their army to occupy it quite some time ago, and when they decided it was too dangerous and abandoned it, they fled, leaving behind items, scrolls, and other things to collect. Also found in the towers are items and weapons that are from "The Other World," the dimension being prevented from emerging into this one by the twelve chains from Pandora's Tower. The one who led you to these towers to save Elena is a creepy gypsy named Mavda, who mysteriously knows way too damn much about the towers and carries an old man on her back for some reason who seemss to be able to work on items and improve and create them for you, though he never speaks in a way anyone can understand but presumably Mavda herself.

Each of the towers is based on an element (Wood, Earth, Water, Fire, Metal, and Light) that are represented by the Gods and Goddess of Aios. Each tower has a God and Goddess counterpart, showing the light and dark side of the element. Each tower is full of new creatures and such, leaving the thirteenth tower to be more of an ending area since there are multiple endings, and presumably where a place of worship. The random meat from the random creatures only temporary holds off Elena's condition, which is on a constant countdown to her turning into a tentacle-y monster of grossness and purple, splotched, and split skin. Each tower has a master, and the master's flesh is what actually breaks the curse, but it only works when all 12 have been acquired and eaten by the one who is cursed. Of course, in the game, Elena is a frail girl and doesn't do the hunting herself, because games love to beat the dead horse of 'damsel in distress'. Instead, her love interest, Aeron, enters the towers for the hunt while Elena stays back in the broken-up tower called the Observatory built a long time ago to watch over The Scar and towers. The couple had been lead into it by the gypsy Mavda while being chased out of a city, and are still being hunted, leaving Aeron with two time limits: stopping Elena's transformation into the dark beast that is fated to bring about destruction to their world and open the scar, and to do so before the Army have hunted her down.

Things to be Noted about the Game (In Canon)

-Mavda clearly knows way to much and has an ulterior motive, but she probably won't even be involved in my game. Partly because she's creepy.
-While creepy, the gypsy gives you the sacred weapon of her people (The Vestra tribe), the Oraclos Chain, which is the item used to remove the flesh of creatures. Best to keep this involved somehow, probably, because it's also a weapon and using Elena's hair is used to tell Aeron how far along her transformation is, regardless of his location.
-Mavda's country of the Vestra's was wiped out by another country during a war that ended just two years before. Clearly something to do with her motive, but not to be spoiled here, if not kind of obvious. Besides, she's totally unnecessary for our story. Fuck that crazy chick, dude.
-The Other World is never revealed in any way, so if we were to decide to bring that into our game, we could make it any way we want.
-The Observatory where the pair is hiding out is full of literature relating to the towers and countries.
-Elena has dreams revealing that the tower's Masters were actually once humans that were weaponized in "Operation Zero". The experiment backfired, so they fled. The common beasts are likely from the Other World, giving us creative freedom on them as well.

Our story is still undetermined because I don't wanna make it alone, unless you ask me too in which I'll try to come up with several pitches. In case you're wondering, male or not, I've played on both sides of the one being in distress, not to mention there is no need for me to play a male because a lot of times my female characters are better anyway. That being said, there's no need for anyone to have to be saved if you don't want, or even multiple Beast Curses. Creative freedom, yo. The only things you need to worry about is being able to RP consistently, deal with talking to me OOC 'cause I talk a lot, and being a good, creative writer. I'm not a stickler for a ton of things in a writing style but I do have my limits, like all of us.

(Also, my chemo gives me memory and thought altercations so I might skip out for a bit, require lots of rereading, and forget your name. Sorry.)

PLEASE PM ME AS FOLLOWING AN INTEREST CHECK IS SOMETHING I ALWAYS FORGET TO DO SOMEHOW.
Oh, err, not that I was summoned but I am too. I'm just dealing with a few things, plus creating a tech-based character without game-breaking technology is a little challenging.
It was still very difficult for Lucy to move in her state of shock, but a combination of the mention of her favorite substance partially snapped her to attention, and the tug at her hand did the rest. Still, as they left the room filled with chaos where the entrance was stained crimson, her mind was mostly dulled, but not in the usual way. Suddenly, she felt sober, the blood pumping faster through her small body now. It seemed pointless to stay, anyway, although Lucy knew they should, so she followed her likely future-self as she was lead out of the back of the cafeteria. Outside, the still air matched her mind's activity perfectly: bleak, blank, shaken up, and snow-driven. The outside air felt different than it had when she entered the school, as if the death of a student thickened the air itself.

The sounds of panic could still be heard as Lucy followed Laney to the latter's memory loss, but Lucy wasn't paying attention anyhow. Her mind remained blank, with the exception of her promised faded mind, and the stained image of the bloody student. Nothing she has experienced in the past has come close to something like that, and she felt nearly traumatized. She kept telling herself she was overreacting, but how could she possibly know?

Lucy was jerked out of the place in her young, pretty red-head when she felt the pressure on her hand, followed by a small tremor. Laney was... afraid? But Lucy was too distracted to know why at the time. Sometimes, it seemed Laney wasn't even human -- more like something above them, unreachable yet touching their ground in her own ways. However, this sudden show of fear of hers was quite revealing. There was much more to see in a person who was touching the ground... but of course, she soon released her hand and returned to her old self. The promise of substance came again, sending her back into her own head and on auto-pilot, following the now-sure Laney to her car, and to her promise.

Standing outside the car, it seemed what had caused Laney's fear earlier was the sound of vehicles in fear that they were related to the shooting. Lucy wasn't convinced otherwise, either, and at this point, Lucy wasn't even aware of whether the sounds were real or not, but real or fake, when the icy winds carried the noises toward the pair, Lucy wanted nothing more than to be in the car near Laney. The ice put up small fight in opening the passenger door, requiring all of her frail little body's momentum to jerk it open, feeling embarrassed to have Laney see her struggle so much with something as simple as a door. She quickly took a seat from the cold, but the cold didn't bother her much anymore, although the soon-to-arrive-heat was welcomed. Lucy waited patiently for her promise to come to light, but it wasn't long before her leg was twitching as she pretended to relax. She knew she should be more frightened with what had just happened, but there was hardly other things to focus on at this point for her. Although, it was nice to see Laney back to her normal self again.

That'd be awesome and make my day/night complete. c: Thank you. c:
It does, but it'll be fine, as usual.
