I'm back and still working! The x-rays went fine, and the surgery is a minor one so don't worry. It's called a core decompression. They're going to drill into my shoulder and attempt to drain the swelling that's limiting it. Kinda to give me some extra time before I have to get a partial shoulder replacement. Also, I'm adding our character sheets to this thread so I don't have to go to our messages to find them.
Name: Praxis Althebetr
Appearance:
(This is the youngest one of him I could find. He's younger than that, I'm guessing we're about in the 14-18 range? If so, he'll be 17.)

Image edits: He's slightly less buff, and the necklace around his neck has a clear gem in addition to that the fangs. There is a tattoo of the moon on the back of his left hand with a unhealed wound through the center.

Abilities: Like other wolves and wolf developed creatures, Praxis has a slightly heightened speed, reaction time, and senses. His fingernails and teeth are sharp but can be extended to full fangs and claws, which fit more in his 'primal state' where he exchanges magic and most cognitive faculties for agility and sensory. Praxis's magic abilities tend to be based around intelligence and the mind, such as reading thoughts, accurate scrying, projecting thoughts, causing hallucinations/illusions etc, although the only magical abilities he thrives in revolve around his own mind.

Biography: When Praxis became of age (which was eight in his clan), he was taught to use his heritage to hunt and kill. He shadowed many of his clan to observe their skill, but also occasionally followed them to their own death. However, the Althebetr clan was large and never quite ran short on warriors or workers. He was taught to hide in the shadows quite often and deliver finishing strikes rather than engage on his own at first, but he soon became accustomed to the process and volunteered to hunt regularly. The more he followed his instinct, the more he wanted to ignore it; their clan's way of approach seemed very clunky to Praxis, and so he tried his own ways of using tricks and traps. After pitching the idea to his family, they ignored the intelligent approach and decided to continue using brute force. When Praxis would hunt with them, however, he would do things his own way: He would not act as a normal wolf, but use trees, jumps, swings, and vaults to his advantage. Instead of straight force, sometimes he would sometimes pretend to be injured until there were multiple surrounding targets and taking them all in one strike so there was less mess and blood, or even leaving traps for vehicles miles from any villages so the affected would simply walk until they starved, leaving no mess at all; Praxis was always disgusted by large amounts of blood shredded flesh (the smell was simply too strong to him, no matter how old it got). Any trap would do, honestly. Nonetheless, after the retrieval of all of his prey - something he felt he only did to please his clan - he would be chided for not following the clan's so called 'method and order'. Tired of being chastised for pleasing his family, it wasn't long before he found a passion of his own: thievery. With thievery, there was no bloody mess, and the skills he had been taught for his clan's brutal acts came in quite handy. Hiding his spoils from his family was no easy task, however, and would countless times be chastised for that, as well. Soon it became apparent that he and the Althebetr clan were too different, causing him to abandon them. He knew the risks of doing so, but he couldn't imagine his family would want his happiness suppressed for their own needs. One night three weeks later, however, he discovered how wrong he was about that after waking up to a Wolfen fang-tipped stake (which leaves unhealing wounds on Wolfens) driven into the moon tattoo on his left and dominant hand. The mark was to show a betrayal of their beliefs and ways on the dead body wherever it lay, but luckily Praxis always laid traps around his sleeping areas. After removing the stake, he looked up into the tree where the attacker hung from Praxis's snare and shared a short teary-eyed look with his own mother before ending her life with the stake, running, and leaving the body behind along with all of his spoils.

Name: Aruna Zeaxanthin
Appearance:
Bio: She was only five years old when her life changed forever and the home she once new was forced away from her. Aruna grew up in a high tech world, anything you could imagine on the tips of your fingers which could also be dangerous. The world shining, towers of sparkling crystal and the future bright but leaving the safety of her home town would be an end for family and never would she return to her home town or at least not for a many many years. It was suppose to be a nice vacation, getting away for the lull of daily lives (or at least she thought so) and the first true vacation she had ever experienced. Sadly, lurking outside the town was a insane and ravenous pack of Wolfen kind had been stalking the area for awhile and though it was not the Wolfen fault for being that way, all their kind were soon to be blamed for Aruna's misfortune. Her parents had taken the extra precaution, hiring bodyguards to see them safely through the pass to where they were headed though her parents had been secretive about the location as well as a bit nervous but the five year old girl thought nothing of it only curious to why her parents friends were coming with them on their grand vacation.
They had thought they were home free when the Wolfen pack attacked, the small group suddenly chaos as it tried to defend the surprise attack. The only warning were dark beastly growls all around plus a piercing howl before they descended and a fight quickly ensuing, shots ringing out all over and blood splattering over the ground as crunching noises followed. Horror and fright kept Aruna stuck in her spot as if rooted there, everything moving so fast around her, parents no where in sight and then the world went quiet for her as she stared in the face of what could be her death. It stalked closer and closer as her heart raced, those glowing eyes capturing her fearful ones as bloody lips were licked happily at such easy prey. Aruna seemed to be broken from the trance once the Wolfen was too close for comfort, turning to run when a splitting pain she had never felt before went through her as flesh was torn open. Claws digging into her skin as she could feel the creatures weight pinning her down and making her helpless to get free from the clutches of her death. It would have gone for the kill if it hadn't been for her father knocking into the beast, startling it as the two now began to fight a fight that would be his last battle. She couldn't think or move and didn't even notice as her mother gathered her up in her arms as she tried to get her child to safety.
It seemed luck was not on her mother's side as she was struck down, both of them dropping to the ground and crying out in pain. Her mother pushed past it, pulling out a weapon to defend herself but more importantly, Aruna. She turned on the attacker, fighting hard and ended in victory but her wounds were too great. She had enough strength move back to Aruna, to tell her that she had to live and that they loved her more then anything.
Her mothers blood spilled onto her as she spoke these words before she dropped, no more to speak or smile. Aruna had bled so much, vision so blurry and fighting to stay awake but it seemed like she could not. It not long before one passerby found the horror, checking to see if any had lived and found only one small child. It seemed a miracle after all the death that covered his horrible place.
Aruna was healed as best the passerby could do until she was healed enough to travel back to her home town. It wasn't long before she was to be placed with her grandmother. Her grandmother, Lucinda, was much different from the people of her world and the town she lived in not even close to her out. Nature ruled her world and everything was simple. The people were strangely beautiful yet all together odd and nothing like Aruna was. Aruna could now see where her golden eyes came from and how her skin was so pale as well as why she had an unearthly glow about her sometimes. The people her all but shined, their hair of different colors, some more plant like than hair and they had large ears that seemed almost animal that sat upon their heads. The most beautiful was the wings, almost layers like that of a bird but instead of feathers they looked like thousand of dragonfly wings and they shimmered in the light of the sun. Some had horns of different kinds even tails on some but each ones had webbed hand and koi like fins at the wrist/ankles/and neck. Eyes were also so huge that they seemed to look into your soul and each one looked so unique but what scared her a bit was the teeth, sharp big teeth that reminded her of those Wolfen a bit. Her years in that town were hard as everyone made her the outcast and her grandmother not too much better since it seems that once you leave, it is banishment. Her own son was cast out for falling in love and wanting to be with what they thought of as an outsider. Libelulanim were not very forgiving creatures.
Other: Has a horrible scratch scars along her whole back

Okay! Yay! Sorry I haven't posted yet, I was at the hospital getting x-rays and consultation on a surgery I'm going to get. I'll get on it after I make my little brother some food!
Hm. No offense Josh but I hope when we start the RP your typos and grammar issues aren't as present as they are in your bio. >_> They never were that present before, but you skipped a lot of commas and your sentence structure is pretty far off. I guess it's just RPing on a phone that's rough. Also, I thought Parker and Matt met because they kept seeing each other at many parties and concerts? I'm still keeping that, we'll just say it happened but your bio doesn't have it. xD I like the idea that they weren't friends at first but they couldn't get away from each other. xD

Anyway, I'll move Parker to here when I can, which should be sometime tonight. I would've done it while I was sick but I forgot that I hadn't done it yet.
The post is just fine, dear! c: It only seems short because of our two previous posts, but they're intro posts so they're supposed to be longer. :P

Anyway, I'm falling asleep sitting up right now so I'm not going to be able to put a post up tonight. However, since you finally got a post up I'm hoping that means we can post more frequently! :D
I'm back! Sorry I've been gone so long -- chemo's making life rough lately. I'm going to read your post now, and I'm sure it's just fine. c:
I was right, the post is just perfect. :D It's not too short. It's only shorter than the first two posts because intro posts are always longer. Anyway, I've actually fallen asleep sitting up while typing this, so I'm not going to be able to get a post up tonight. :c Since you finally posted, though, I'm hoping it's a sign that we'll be able to post frequently now, though! :D
It's been a liiittle more than 24 hours. XD
Hey guys thanks a lot for the health wishes and such, and I can't apologize enough for making you all wait. As you may have figured out by now, my condition doesn't seem to be improving and I have no idea as to why, so I'm going to cut this game off before I can start it because I can't be counted on to stay healthy and keep this game moving forward at all times. I love this idea so much, though, and I put a lot of work into this so when my condition stabilizes and the RPs I was engaged in prior to this become easier to handle I will almost definitely try this again, so keep an eye out for the name "The Summoner's Labyrinth" to pop up again, though after this I understand if you don't trust me to start. The next time, though, I plan to have a co-GM and he's always been my co-GM so I know he's reliable -- not to mention he helped create a lot of this game anyway.

I know it was my health and not my personal fault but I'm still really sorry to you guys, especially because most of you seemed pretty excited and you guys were really supportive. I hope you guys can forgive me and I hope to see you guys the next attempt.
I only consider someone "not around" if they haven't messaged me or posted in over three days. There aren't many left that's not, so I should probably rearrange groups to compensate but I really liked the way they were set up..
It's odd that it doesn't work with a site specifically. I wonder what would cause that, aside from an ISP's natural stupidity.
