@LuckyBlackCat@AbysmalDemon@Heckno12There's something to be said about Alexis' dreams. Most would assume that they involved her laughing while sitting on a beautiful throne on top of the world, with everyone else bowing down to her and doing whatever she wished. Truth be told, that would be a close guess to how she dreamed as a child. Ever since she had seen the true stars of the Pokemon world, she dreamed of something else entirely.
What was once a dream of selfish gain, was now a dream of adventure. She dreamed of conquering great challenges, and catching wonderful Pokemon, but she also dreamed of seeing what her idols had seen, of being loved the way they were loved. She dreamed of feeling the way they felt as their fans cheered and praised them without trickery, without being ordered to, and without a second thought. This was the dream she had every time she fell into the unconscious world.
But now it was time to wake up. To face reality and remember what it was that put her to sleep...
Alexis awoke. Her eyes opened slowly in order to allow her to analyze her surroundings. Her head hurt, and her body felt sore for some reason. Though her eyelids were only half-open, her eyes looked around. She spotted some familiar people. They were a blur at first, but they got clearer her body became active once again.
She didn't feel like speaking. She didn't feel like yelling or questioning or freaking out. She felt tired. She just wanted to get up. So with a tiny, breathy grunt, Alexis attempted to sit up.
