Bio:
Carson grew up in the Downtown Block. His father was a mechanic and his mother was a part-time waitress at a dinner downtown. They rented an apartment above the diner where his mother worked and tried to stay out of trouble. He was intelligent, but lazy all throughout his school career. He got good enough grades and stayed out of trouble which his parents were content with. At age 17 he sprung it on his parents that he wanted to join the military, and while they were hesitant they let him. It was there he met Thomas Dircks and they became fast friends.
While deployed Carson saw things that would haunt him forever and make him seriously doubt humanity. To cope with the things he saw and had to do he began to act like a smartass. He would focus on just completing the mission and getting back to his cot by the end of the day. He became known as a crack shot and being cool under pressure. He would often make jokes while bullets stream over head. After his six years were up they asked him to participate in an experiment in trade for lots of money. He doesn’t remember anything in the days leading up to the experiment. All he knows is that it was unsuccessful and he still got the money. Of course three days after being released from service he got shot. Someone was trying to rob him after he was visiting his parents, and he refused to hand over his wallet and the man shot him.
Instead of dying Carson could feel the bullet hitting him and the force propelling him back. He remembers it didn’t hurt, well at least not as much as it should have. He stepped backward to stop himself from falling down and looked down at his chest. The blood was soaking his shirt and he could see through the hole to his insides. He could see the muscle closing back up and pushing the bullet out. The bullet fell to the ground and his wound was completely healed. Both he and the would-be-murderer stared at each other in shock. Carson felt a wolfish hunger rise up from some unknown part of him and he rushed the robber. He got hit with three more bullets before he could reach the robber with his bare hands. The would-be thief will probably have a hard time stealing from now on.
