@Gilgex
I enjoyed your post but I don't think that you should have did Fenrir's character like that.
It was humorous but how @AbandonedIntel ended it was fine and unantagonistic. =/
I've got a post that will be up by tonight.

Adrian stared deep into Nyt's eyes. A feeling of shock and bewilderment overtaking over him. After almost being torn into pieces from within a black hole; nothing really phased him anymore. Yet for some reason, he couldn't stop staring at her; as if seeing his friend for the first time. Really, truly seeing her. Nyt was the only person, the only one who could truly understand the way he felt.
Nyt was from a far away planet called Austea, which was nestled inside an even further away galaxy; Kryton. Although she was alien, she appeared human and she was surprisingly beautiful. She had short-wavy hair, high cheek bones that supported a wide smile and eyes that held more depth than all the stars in the sky.
Adrian might still be on his birth planet but he too had been ripped away from his home. Stranded, a man lost in time. This new life felt more alien to him than the one sitting right in front of him. A planet full of people and the person Adrian felt the closest to belonged to another world, light years away. She had been here the whole time, staring him in the face and he had no idea until this very moment how alike they were.
Being born a mixed child, Adrian grew up not really fitting in. Sure, he made friends, flirted with girls, played sports like everybody else but for some reason he never quite felt like he fit in. His black friends teased him for being "light-skinned" and his white friends were sometimes withdrawn; not because they didn't like him but because no matter how much they were alike, he looked different. He could be laughing in a crowed room and still be isolated and alone.
In his senior year, meteor landed near his high school. He started having strange powers after going near the strange purple-glowing rock. His new abilities further isolated him from people now that he had a powerful secret. If it wasn't for his best friend Aja, who also received her own gift of abilities form the meteorite, he would have been completely alone with no one to share his secret with. As his powers manifested, he became the hero Impulse and she; Black Cat.
Impulse had the ability to generate an unstoppable force in the form of a field or as a blast but it only could last for a moment and it only reached so far. Now, he could probably hold it for about three seconds. Five, if he really pushed himself. By the end of a full year's cycle the duality of his power manifested itself into a equal, yet opposite force. With this momentary 'burst' of attraction, Adrian had overexerted himself in a fight against the villain, Grissom. In this fight, his attractive pulse lasted just over an instant. A blink of an eye seems irrelevant most times but when dealing with massive unstable power, even a second is an eternity. He was careless, reckless and inexperienced. With the same understanding of taming lightning, Impulse... He, had used his power just a little too long. Long enough for a singularity to open up right in front of him. Having no idea how to control it or turn it off; Adrian was consumed by his own power and cast into the black hole that he, himself created. When he came out the other side he, was half dead, was thought to be actually dead, and learned that his mother really was dead. Grissom had killed her in a plot for revenge and an attempt to lure Impulse out. Without even being in the same timeline anymore, Adrian was unable to meet his aggressors challenge or protect his mom.
Impulse failed to protect the one person Adrian cared for the most in this world. When he emerged from the void and discovered the terrible news, Adrian declared Impulse dead. Impulse died back in the black hole and in the past with his mother. Adrian assumed a new identity as Vega and swore to seek justice or seek revenge on Grissom and then return to the past to save his mom.
Now, here... after all this time, was someone staring back at him. She was just like him and all she wanted was to go home. Adrian respected that desire and with...
"Vega".
"I've got a call for you from Esperanza Alvarado. She says it's important."

Adrian had so many things he wanted to tell Nyt, share with Nyt. ...but that was how Impulse acted. Impulse's recklessness was how people got hurt. He was literally too impulsive. So instead, Adrian kept his lips pressed together and seemingly effortlessly; he broke his gaze. Then, quietly approaching the front of the plane and left Nyt to wonder and explore her new tech.

"What was the point in allowing yourself to get lost in moments like that?" he thought to himself.
He felt like a child whenever he indulged in moments such as those.
He pushed those thoughts far into the back of his mind and reached for the phone.
"Vega ...Adrian.
Yes Ms. Alvarado?"
"It's Grissom... We may have found him.

@Din
I really appreciate you thinking of me but Vega isn't apart of the group yet.
He probably won't catch up until post 5, unfortunately.
No letters for people trapped inside black holes I'm afraid. lol

Would you mind editing him out of your recent IC please? =)
Thank you!

Adrian inhaled deeply. His lungs were on fire and every inch of him was in searing pain. He blinked slowly trying to wipe the tears from his eyes as he dared to take another breath. "What the hell just happened?" The words and the world still spinning in his head. He closed his eyes willing, pleading with the pain to subside. Images of light and dark, pushes and pulls, distortions and waves had burned their fading afterimages into the black canvas of his inner eyelids.
As the tinnitus faded from his ears, the ringing was replaced by dogs barking and car alarms echoing off in the distance. "How did I get here? I was just..." "GRISSOM." As quickly as the word left his lips he could see the outline of a man standing before him. A rush of adrenaline; Adrian moved like a cat that just had a something nip its tail. A blast from his hand went sailing right past the man's head, blowing his bath robe to the floor. He screamed and ran in the other direction; A bed slipper abandoned on the sidewalk.
"Wasn't him." Adrian muttered as he staggered to his feet. His head throbbed and his legs were wobbly. A black hoodie clung to his shirt, revealing the golden "I" from the movie Incredibles, which he used as a substitute symbol for when he went out paroling as Impulse. The rest of his uniform wasn't any more impressive. Casual black jeans and some black Air Force Ones that he also played basketball in made up the rest of his superhero uniform. If it was sunny outside, he'd wear black shades to cover part of his face. Besides partial face obstruction, his main strategy for not getting recognized was the same strategy he used in a fight. Don't get seen and Always to strike first. Impulse was no assassin but he didn't want to be unexpectedly shot or swung at at either. His powers (although strong) didn't have any duration. It was like firing a thousand cannons in all directions but if he blinked, they would all disappear. Gunfights were the especially troublesome. He could block a million bullets and have a building fall on him but if two people alternated their shots, one just after the other, he could rely only on blocking one of them and hope to dodge the other. Because of that risk, he preferred to hit first and have that one hit be the only hit he needed.
The pain was almost completely gone as he stretched, cracked his knuckles and his neck. Something was still odd though. His clothes had shrunk... or rather, he had grown. He felt heavy, unnatural, off balance. Almost as if he had borrowed someone else's body but kept his height and voice. The streets looked ...newer. No, they didn't have that clean look like new things do... Instead, they seemed more advanced. Sheek. The power lines were made out of carbon fiber. He noticed that the street lights had sensors in them. Every one he walked past had a blue light blink at him and then turn off when he was out of range. "Were there cameras installed in them now?" He became absorbed in deeper though as he noticed more and more 'little' changes all around himself.

Suddenly, a spotlight shown down on him. It illuminated the sidewalk and was bright enough to devour all the shadows around him. He blinked and covered his eyes from the blinding light. "This is the police! Put your hands behind your head and lay face down on the ground!" said the voice through a speaker. The speaker was attached to a drone, which was shining the obnoxiously-bright light down on him. "We said get down on the ground! NOW!" another voice shouted from down the road. A cop car whirred around the corner. Then another and another. They kept flooding in from all directions until Adrian was surrounded. "We go em' surrounded. Closing in!" another cop said into his voice comm.
"Where's the gun?" yet another police man asked to the team.
"I dunno, I don't see it!"
"Are we sure this is the terrorist who bombed the buildings?"
"I said get down!"
"It has to be. He fits the description!"
"Well then, where's the gun?"
"He must have tossed i... I said get down! You have till' the count of three!"
Adrian wasn't even going to wait for the officer to count to "two". He heard the two magic words that get people shot; "Terrorists" and "Gun" and he wasn't about to wait and see which one was going to get him in the most trouble.
"ONE!..."
Adrian squatted and spread his finger out, palms facing down. A soft boom sounded from underneath and he could feel the rush of wind on his face. As he thought, the police were only startled for a moment before Adrian heard them open fire. Simultaneously, Adrian detonated his impulse barrier and blasted a powerful force out of his hands. He saw bullets distort his barrier like ripples on a water's surface, each one being deflected like flicking an ant off a table. He had angled his second blast so that this time he went further up and moved away from their line of sight.
He was higher than most four or five story buildings at this point. "Videogames wish they could double jump like this." he smirked. Another blast. The third one just added to his momentum and he was rapidly climbing higher and higher and moving into the city.
"I hope mom's asleep already. I don't want to explain to her why I'm sneaking into my own house."
Another blast. It seemed like even the stars were chasing him.
It was a good night.

Sorry for crappy post, I'm in a hurry.

It's ok. Your RP name makes me laugh every time!

<Snipped quote by AbandonedIntel>

oh, btw. If you want villains for Light, eldritch stuff works fine. Tentacles and everything.

I see where you're going with this, and I fully support this plan! Lol
Btw, I'm looking forward to being your partner!
Being able to interact with your fun character wo be a nice relief from the serious writing that tends to follow Vega. =)
I'll make sure that Adrian opens up to you, so that you feel comfortable. ^.^

@Parfex Oh shit! I'm sorry! My bad! D: Thanks for clarifying.

Go ahead and put him in your post so we can get a good idea of what kind of dude he is. Don't use images for him yet... I know just who to use for his kind >:)

But yeah. Feel free to put him in your post. The reason why I didn't want people to play villains is because I didn't want them to end up interfering with the quests and the storylines I have set up. Go ahead and put Grissom in your villain-fight post. However once Vega's within the hands of the Powerbound, I can take him from there. :D

That's what I was hoping for!
Have fun with him and yes, the images I wasn't really set on, so feel free to make a suggestion!

@Parfex Although that guy would make a great villain, unfortunately it's against the rules for anyone but me to play a villain. I might change that though, but again... please read the rules thoroughly... apparently you have missed alot. XD

I think we have some miss communication here...
I've read the rules and read the rules over and over again.
With all due resoect, @Gilgex, You weren't tagged because I wasn't asking for permission to play a villain. I was just showing him.
Vega needed someone to kill his mom, so I made someone.
I gave him a CS so that you all could use him too and know how to RP him.

Grissom is a racist asshole and I don't think I could stomach him long enough to play him seriously. I can however, scrip him into fights with Vega and display his CS so that anyone else who wanted to use him would have a general idea as to how he behaves.

So, sorry if I gave the impression that I was trying to make another character. I just made someone I could script dialogue with, without needed permission from the author so that I could avoid hurting someone's feelings; like what happened between the warewolf and the wearbear.
