Name: Lesina
Race: Hylian
Age:24
Sex: Female
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Appearance:
If one were to describe the knight, Lesina would be spoken of in an intimidated voice. A behemoth of a Hylian standing nearly six feet and ten inches tall is only more impressive when you consider the giant's womanhood. Her eyes are a pale, piercing amber with a medium skin tone. Despite her stature, there is a hidden poise for grace and beauty in her luscious, red-brown hair kept neatly in a braid and the curvatures of her body toned from a life of war. If one could ignore the scar running from the edge of her eye down to her lips, they might have found her quite lovely. As a foot-soldier, Lesina traditionally wears chain-mail over her small clothes and then equips light plate armor for her hands, feet, legs, chest, and shoulders.
Equipment: As a soldier, Lesina's belt carries a couple small rolls of bandages, a canteen for water, a sword, her armor, and a vial of alcohol for disinfecting wounds. Also attached to her belt is a personal keepsake as much as a battle necessity--an ornate horn made from the talons of the long-extinct Loftwing.

Background:
A child's memory is such a fickle thing. It reminds us of pieces that didn't really exist, that seem to come back to us in the quiet hours or the night or morning as visions of what once was. Lesina's was no different. The Knight thinks back on her scantest memory quite often...she remembers simply staring at the ceiling in what was likely a home made of stone. The wind on the outside whipped wildly, the kind of gusts that create a flurry of sand and dirt. Then there was a scream; what kind of scream was it? The woman will doubt herself, then decide that the only kind of scream it could have been was terror. A large, burly man takes Lesina into his arms. He was a hooded figure, but his breast was warm and sticky with blood. The man murmured words that Lesina could not possibly understand in her infancy. The last thing she remembers is a stone house, sitting eerily quiet on a hill of sand. Where there were windows there was no glass, and the door was made of the plainest wood. The home grew distant in the background as they moved away from it, until it was swallowed by the sandstorm. She must have feel asleep after that.
Every morning, the girl will think back on these moments. She will even see it in her dreams at night, but it is no nightmare. It is simply a reality that was cast upon her. Lesina will then decide; that during the Hylian-Gerudo War, her parents were killed by a group of marauding Hylian Knights and since she was only a babe, she was robbed from the cradle. The next phase of her life took place in a Hylian Barracks. She was raised by all of the Knights, Squires aspiring to be Knights and so forth. As soon as she could walk the young squire was running errands for members of the Barracks. The instructors taught her to run, climb, crawl, carry weight, preparing her for the day she was old enough to begin combat training. She started training for combat at the ripe age of 10 with all of the other young men. They were taught how to polish and maintain armor, sharpen blades, fight with a sword and repel with a shield. They were also taught hatred. Hatred for the Gerudo. After a long day of rigorous training, Lesina found herself looking in a puddle of water, at the reflection she had.
Her facial shape and straight, brown hair were reminiscent of a Hylian....but that was when the puddle was rippling. As it cleared, it revealed that Lesina had an even, medium complexion, lustrous, pale amber eyes and deep tones of red in her beautiful, red-brown hair. She stood nearly six feet tall when she was 15. These were all characteristics of a Gerudo...they very people she was being taught to hold contempt for and swear to fight until they were eradicated. The Knight came to loathe herself. Originally, the path the Hylian Army intended for Lesina was that of a healer since she was a woman, but as she came to hate everything about the Gerudo, her power in sparring grew exponentially. The other Squires would call her a demon, a half-breed that was only strong because of the blood that flowed in her veins. Lesina rejoiced in the prestige she earned for herself. Eventually, the Squires became too easy and too soft to prove an adequate challenge. So she began training against fully fledged Knights. When she was backed into a corner the girl's affinity for Fire revealed itself--manifesting as a flaming cloak that draped over her back, fiery eyes, and a blazing blade.
Suffice to say, Lesina made short work of all challengers. The day finally came that she was deemed ready for battle. Real battle. Before leaving the Barracks, she was outfitted properly with chain-mail, light plate armor, and her very own blade. It was the happiest day of her life, she thought to herself. Placed under Commander Gerald, Lesina's crusade began by marching from Castle Town all the way to the Desert. Along the way, Gerald and his Troop liberated villages from Gerudo control and brought the swift hand of justice upon all enemies of the realm. Gerald was impressed with Lesina--the woman towered over all others at an impressive 6'10" and was the perfect weapon to fight against the other Gerudo who were nearly the same height. As Lesina battled against the other Gerudo, they tried to dissuade her from the path she was on--to come back to the people she was birthed by. When the Knight refused, they said incredibly hateful things to her. After several such skirmishes, Lesina's hatred of the Gerudo people had finally set in.
Gerald promoted Lesina to be his Right Hand, which made her the second-in-command of the troop. The soldiers came to admire Lesina for her strength, poise, and grace. It took time for them to warm up to the Knight because of her Gerudo features, but in time they accepted her for the Hylian she really was. Lesina was no longer angry with herself when they accepted her as a Hylian, the only thing left for her was camaraderie with her fellow soldiers, food in her stomach, and a deep-set hatred for the Gerudo people. Just as Lesina and her troop reached the Valley to prepare for a flanking strike on the main forces of the Gerudo Army...the war was ended by command of Princess Zelda...
Without a war to fight, Gerald, Lesina, and the rest of the troop took to relief efforts in rebuilding/assisting Hylian settlements to recover from the long war. They would destroy Bokoblin hideouts here and there, but it wasn't anywhere near as glorious as it was before. Lesina felt that she was robbed of her chance to end the war. She really believed that she, and the rest of the Hylians were only a battle away from ending the war and finally exterminating the Gerudo.
Still...despite everything that had happened, the woman found herself thinking long on the fever dream that always came back to her. The stone house on a a sandy hill that grew distant in the background as she was taken away from it. What kind of life would she have lived if she wasn't robbed from the cradle? Would she have taken a different path and come to revere her Gerudo lineage? Such thoughts were a waste of her time....Lesina was a Hylian now, and a Hylian forever.

Strengths:
Fiery Soul: For each turn in combat, Lesina gains (1) Token of Fiery Soul. Max (3) Tokens. These Tokens manifest by different visual effects. Only one token effect can be used at a time.
(1) Token: Lesina gains a flaming cloak that drops down to the small of her back. Although made of fire, the cloak itself is not capable of dealing damage to herself or enemies without being spent. When the Token is spent, the cloak explodes and deals damage to all nearby enemies. Can be used offensively and defensively.
(2) Tokens: In addition to the flaming cloak, Lesina's eyes appear to be on fire. When the Tokens are spent, the Knight gains a flaming aura that surrounds her body for two turns. Deals damage to all who touch her without a form of protection.
(3) Tokens: The flaming cloak becomes a full cape, her eyes appear to be on fire, and a majestic crown of flame floats above her head. When the Tokens are spent, Lesina pulls an ornate Horn from her belt and lets out a powerful bellow. A full volley of fire arrows rain down on the target area, causing massive damage.

Weaknesses:
Racist: Years of being taught by the Hylians has made Lesina extremely prejudiced against all races other than Hylians. She is especially hateful of Gerudo, in spite of her shared blood with the sub-humans.
Easily Provokable: Because of her upbringing, Lesina relies heavily on rage to fuel and carry her through battles. Since she is usually highly irritable, she can fall victim to taunts or traps.
Overly Confident: The Knight has lost very few skirmishes in her lifetime. She's been spoon-fed a rhetoric of honor and glory her whole life, so even if she were to die in battle she wouldn't be too concerned.
