Current Today I reached the conclusion that, if presented with an exact duplicate of herself, one of my characters would DEFINITELY hit that.

They're not LONG chapters; but the fact I've managed to right 2 meh and 4 half decent ones in 4 days makes me very happy with myself.

@KatherinWinter I have no idea honestly. Maybe 15-20 minutes all things said and done?

"Really? Huh. Hadn't seen you at HQ before so I wasn't aware." the Djinn shrugged, snatching a red bottle from Richard's belt before walking towards Amaya and Mason. "Don't bother asking for permission to heal him, just do it." he advised the half-elemental, passing her the healing potion, "I know the type, going to keep fighting it until he blacks out from blood loss. Although, letting him black out WOULD make transporting him easier..." Argus shook his head, "Nah, too risky. Get his wounds closed, force feed him this potion if your own powers aren't up to the job"

"Hopefully the transport will be ready up top by the time we surface." The senior agent clicked his radio on once more, "Griffin, what's the status on that prisoner transport? Amaya is doing a patch job on the demon to keep him from dying on the way to prison. Soon as she's done, we'll head up top."
@LightningMaiden@Searat@Blueflame

"Nice to meet you, Amaya. Sorry for being rather blunt earlier, but if you're at all familiar with the... history between our races, I'm sure you understand." the agent explained courteously, "And I appreciate your assistance with this matter. If you're looking for work, I can put in a good word with the agency. Despite my... complicated status within it, I do hold some respect within the administration." Argus offered, pulling Richard to his feet.

"You did good rookie, just need to spend more time training yourself to cast those big spells so you can do it more reliably in the future. We'll make a proper agent of you yet." the Djinn retrieved the cigarette from behind his ear, lighting it and sticking it in his mouth. "As for proper introductions I'm Argus Grau, Probationary Agent with the Bureau. Though I suspect they'll be pulling the probationary part out of my title soon." Shifting his focus to Mason, he smirked slightly, "Given I managed to salvage this operation before anybody died, that is."
@KatherinWinter At this point is it safe to assume Argus would be a relatively senior agent? Obviously less time with the agency than Griffin, but longer than most of the others.
@LightningMaiden@Blueflame@Searat@KatherinWinter

"By the authority of the Bureau of Supernatural Affairs, you are under arrest for disturbing the peace, exposing mortals the the supernatural, and endangering civilians." Argus stated bluntly, grabbing Mason by the shoulder and forcing him to turn around, the Djinn locked the sealing cuffs around the demon's wrists, their enchantments shorting out any magic Mason was currently using. "You will be healed to the best of our ability and placed in containment until such time as the agency determines a fair punishment, at which time you will be dealt with accordingly."

The senior agent signaled for Amaya to come over and begin healing Mason, "Keep him from dying on us please, Miss..?" he began, pausing mid-sentence, "Now that the fight is done, I believe it's time we were introduced properly. I'm Argus Grau, but you can just call me Argus. If you ever call me Sir I'll light you on fire."

Argus left Mason to the elemental's care and went over to check on Richard, kneeling down next to the human and picking the cigarette up, "Fair enough Rich, I'll keep it in mind. Let me know if you ever change yours." the Djinn tucked the smoke behind his own ear, rising to his feet and extending a hand to help Richard up off the ground, "You hurt at all, or just burned out?" With his free hand, Argus grabbed his radio, holding it to his face, "Griffin, this is Argus. Demon is secure, what's the status on that transport?"
@KatherinWinter It's on Hulu (in the US at least, IDK where you live.)
I can't even take credit for that, I've been watching a show called The Strain, and one of the antagonists is a vampire who wears those kinds of prosthetic to hide that he's undead. He's still sensitive to light, but he can move around during the day if he wears a wide brim hat and sunglasses.
@KatherinWinter Simple solution: facial prosthetics (like in movies) with UV-blocking agents in them.
@KatherinWinter Just need to get Griffin some SPF 5000 and he should be fine next time.
@LightningMaiden@Blueflame@Searat At least we're making progress on the case now that somebody is issuing actual orders?
