Yakima listened to the Captain of Squad 13. Her methods were different for him. Yakima never bothered going that extra mile as she said it nor did he ever realized that they actually taught him lessons. He contemplated on it for a moment, not sure what she meant by going the extra mile. He trained his squad, he passed on his knowledge onto them and that was pretty much it. "What do you mean by going the extra mile Captain Yoshi?" He went along with the nickname Ashido gave her. His nose twitched as Yakima straightened his back and looked around for it. He could smell the tea coming. Finally, the waiter brought them their tea and set it down. Yakima grabbed his cup of tea and took a few gulps down. Yakima had a mildly pleased face "Hm, not bad" He took another sip before placing it down.

Yakima turned his attention to Ashido, listening to his idea as he looked for food on he side. He took another sip of tea, thinking over Ashido's idea for a moment. He could only think of benefits and no down side of this alliance. He placed down his cup of tea "This idea...sounds really good to me. My squad members lack the kido skill that your squad has. They could actually learn a thing or two from your squad members. So Squad 10 accepts your offer. Now...do they serve food here?"

Yakima followed the Squad 4 and 13 Captains, listening to them with an eyebrow raised the entire time I can feel his enthusiasm from over here. I should keep my distance from him or it'll spread to me Yakima thought to himself. Although one thing he said did catch his attention. The idea of using one of his seated members to push his paperwork on. Although it was immoral, it sounded like a much better plan than doing all of the work himself. He followed the two captains in silence most of the time, entering a small regular looking tea shop. To be honest, Yakima much preferred this compared to other fancy shops captains are recommended to go. He was a simple man and this simple restaurant suited his every need. He turned to Ashido "I actually like this shop alot, I prefer it compared to the shops that are meant for captains. Those shops are over the top for me but this one is just perfect. I may actually come back here again"

Yakima nodded his head at Ashido, agreeing with his order. As they waited, Ashido began to speak about the pink haired waiter. He listened to the inspirational story, not really sure on how to react on it. He never had an emotional tie with his subordinates so he never had an emotional break through with any of them. Yakima felt proud of this, wanting to keep things strictly business when dealing with his squad members. Yakima looked at Ashido with a slight surprise at his question "Um, yes I suppose so" He said, not sure on how to answer the next question. So instead of actually answering it, he turned to Sai "Yes, we are interested in what you have to say"

Yakima bowed his head to the Head Captain when they were dismissed, not speaking another word as he followed the other captains to the outside of the office. As they were leaving, Yakima was thinking of new strategies the entire time. Squad 10 was a smaller squad compared to the others and Yakima didn't mind this, he actually preferred it. He had many years of experience when dealing with small scale operations but large scales was a whole new thing to him. He was still learning the strategies and now this. It only added to the difficulties because now he'll have to be controlling these large-scale operations. He let out a light breath, looking up to the enthusiastic captain. No matter, this will act as a teaching experience. If I fail, then it is only my fault.

Yakima nodded his head at his peer's invitation instead of usually declining it. As much work as he had, he saw that the words of wisdom from fellow captains would be much more worth it. Plus, he had yet to actually meet or get to know most of the other catains. "To be honest, it sounds most stressful. I'm still getting the hang of large-scale operations and have yet to actually operate a serious large-scale invasion luckily. I've yet to operate in any wars, only partake in them. Plus, I would appreciate some pointers for a newer captain such as myself. I never expected being a captain would take so much work" Yakima said, referring to the mountains of paperwork they have to do.

Yakima stood beside the three other captains, his hands behind his back as he listened to the Head Captain. Inside, Yakima was slightly annoyed at the fact of this lecture. There was nothing really he could do to encourage new graduates to join his Squad. He wasn't willing to go through the extra mile, he was straight forward and thats how he wanted it to stay. However, Yakima kept a calm expression on his face the entire time and continued to listen. He knew that this meeting wouldn't be pointless and was hoping that the Head Captain would just give them some pointers or tips. But instead, it seemed like they had taken a much more drastic decision. He bit his lip, the fact that they had a lot more work to do only irritating Yakima more. He remained silent as the other captain began to speak up, excited about the the massive increase in recruits. Although it would make things easier, all Yakima heard was more paper work. He could also see other problems in this, such as unfit shinigami joining his Squad or resistant shinigami.

Yakima sighed, staring into the Head Captain with his aloof eyes "No complaints here. As long as these new recruits aren't detrimental to my Squads current progress, than I'm happy" He said with a monotone face.
