A dizzying sense of disorientation washed over Violet as she slowly regained consciousness. Her eyes fluttered open and in the next instant, she jolted wide awake. The glass pod made her feel trapped, no escape, and suddenly she felt very claustrophobic. Breathing short, quick breaths, Violet looked around to find that she wasn't alone and there were others just as panicked. Some banged on the glass and shouted while others seemed to be very confused and scared. It was all very traumatic until a familiar voice, J, sounded through the intercom. Violet sucked in a deep breath and then slowly exhaled to calm her nerves as she listened to him speak, eyes closed. But as soon as she began to feel slightly less frantic, her heart started to race once J began to sound nervous, panicked.

The ship vibrated violently, Violet struggled to keep her balance and listened frantically for J to reassure her that everything was okay. But his voice was cut off mid-shout and another vibration rocked the ship. Violet had spent most of her life on Port Hope and had never traveled too far from home so this was all new to her. Fear shook her body harder than the ship as everything began to heat up to the point where she could feel her heart pounding in her ears. A red, blinking light went off, illuminated horrified faces with each flash.

This is it, Violet thought. We're all going to die. We're all going to-

Very suddenly, it all stopped with a thud, her head hitting the top of her pod with a loud thunk. Violet felt momentarily paralyzed and all she could feel was the heavy thumping of her heart, her vision patchy as she blinked away the lights that danced across her eyes from shock. After a beat of time passed she slowly brought herself to her feet, taking a shaky step forward. Breathing through her nose Violet stepped out of her pod just like everyone else and also, just as confused as everyone else. A few people had already exited the ship so, rather than wait in fear, Violet made her way out.

Green, more than she had ever seen before, everywhere she looked. Her eyes squinted as they adjusted to the brightest sky she'd ever gazed upon, amazed wonder dancing across her freckled face. She breathed in air so fresh that it hurt her lungs a bit, but Violet didn't care. She was on another planet and it was so beautiful.

"Wow," she whispered.

Fiona stands at an average height of about 5'4 and has a very slender build. Her beautiful face consists of wide, gold-ish hazel eyes framed by dark lashes, rosy lips and high cheekbones. The bridge of her nose is powdered with freckles that fade out onto her cheeks and her dark brown hair is long and wavy. Though her face is very pretty, she hardly ever wears makeup, maybe occasionally some mascara or lipstick. Fiona is a thin girl with long legs that give off the impression she's taller than she is.

Her wardrobe is fairly casual. She doesn't get dressed up too often and her main colors generally consist of black and other dark shades. Normally she's either wearing flats or combat boots, depending on the weather and her outfit, but it's usually boots. If she's not wearing jeans, she's wearing tights with some sort of plain dress, but she hardly ever exposes her legs. Call it an insecurity but she just cannot stand it when people comment on the paleness of her legs. In general, Fiona is fairly low-maintenance when it comes to dressing herself.

She has a very calm demeanor shown by the elegance in her walk and the passive expression she often wears as a mask. Wide, brown eyes appear even larger due to her small face. She has a full pout underneath a little nose which is absolutely covered in freckles. Her most notable feature is obviously the bright, red hair that falls just below the middle of her back. Deep down, Violet is a kindhearted, sweet girl who grew up in rough circumstances. When she was younger, she was very open and friendly but as time went on, a hard, outer shell began to grow around her. Years of emotional abuse by her father dimmed the light inside of her that once used to burn so bright and after her mother passed away, it faded to just a spark. Though she likes to pretend that she doesn't care about anything, Violet actually cares a lot. Once you get past her hard exterior, you'll find a friend that is willing to do almost anything for you. When Violet loves, she loves hard to the point that it breaks her heart when it is taken from her. In general, she's a pretty friendly person and actually does enjoy other people's company. She can be a bit naive when it comes to the people that she cares about. Violet will trust you until you've given her a reason not to and once you've done that, it takes a lot of time and effort in order to win her trust back. She's sarcastic, she's funny, she's smart, and she's ready to help others in trouble. All in all, Violet is a good person, although a bit cold to the touch.

Violet was born to Cornelius and Aurelia Blume. She grew up with a nurturing mother and an overbearing, controlling father. Though she never outright hated him when she was younger, Violet has never had a good relationship with her father. He never let her do what she want and always tried to control her. He was never above attacking her emotionally and only hit her a few times when she was "acting out." Her mother, on the other hand, was loving and cared deeply for her daughter. Aurelia tried her hardest to instill good inside Violet who she knew would most likely never be able to get completely away from her husband. Secretly, Aurelia was also a supporter of the Resistance and helped rebels hijack medical supplies and other tools she worked with as a researcher. Somehow, she was caught, most likely ratted out, and was quickly arrested. Violet's mother was then sentenced to death and executed, days after she had turned 13. She was left alone with a father she no longer feared, but nonetheless could not stand to be around.

Like her mother, Violet's father was secretly involved illegal activity. He was affiliated with a gang to which he supplied drugs, sometimes dealing them himself. At some point Violet decided to follow this same path. Instead of joining her father, she joined a different crew where she supplied several drug dealers and smuggled various drugs into different sectors. Her father never even knew of her double life until the day she was arrested.
