Took a bit longer than I thought it would, But Incoming:
One Big, Friendly, albeit pouting, Jock
One Last Name made by literally throwing letters at a wall
One deceivingly long post.
Let me know if there's any problems or anything
Name: Charlie Invifone
Prefers a casual look most of the time, jeans become almost a uniform in the fall and winter while gym shorts and tank tops are common in the spring and summer. Even when the occasion calls for a more formal look, without being too disrespectful, he can often be found looking somewhat...disheveled. Loosened ties (if a tie is present at all), button ups with rolled up sleeves, dress shoes that would double as sneakers and the like would not look misplaced on the happy fool.

Normally people tend to hear Charlie before they see him, and he's not a particularly hard person to miss by sight. boistrous and happy, There's a joke around town that "the loudest thing in Greenbriar is Coach's Megaphone, the second loudest thing is Coach's Invifone". However, while Charlie may naturally tend towards loudness, the large individual simply loves to see those around him enjoying themselves and to bask in that enjoyment with them, and is unafraid to make a fool of himself to achieve this. He enjoys quiet library dates just as much as raucous parties, as long as he's with the people he loves. This good-naturedness of Charlie's however has led him into several less-than healthy friendships and caused the messy-headed boy to develop a sharp dislike of bullies.
Charlie is on the football team as a fullback. That means that on any given play it may be his job to not just keep up with some of the fastest runners on the squad, but also to put himself between whoever has the ball and whatever large person is angrily flinging themselves at said ball-carrier. At first, this responsibility scared Charlie, but eventually as his teammates began to trust him he grew into the role, and then transferred some of that bravado over to real life. Now, when a threat presents itself to one of his friends, regardless of who or how capable they are, he can't help but feel a certain responsibility for them.
Lastly, Charlie is a hard-worker. Though he was big he knew he would never be the biggest. Though he was funny he knew he'd never be the funniest, same with the fastest, best looking, or smartest, but he figured he could be the hardest working, so he developed a 'get-to-work' attitude. I.E. It may take him 3 hours of studying to get done with the equivalent of what a more naturally gifted student might grasp in one, but if that's what it takes then that's what he'll do.
Or at least, that was his personality before his injury, and it usually still shines through but ever since the doctor told him to lay off the cast Charlie has felt...caged. He becomes more easily frustrated than usual, his laugh, seems to lack a certain luster, maybe even a certain volume, and the ease at which things entertained him has begun to fall by the wayside.

Charlie was originally a twin, born to Jane Invicsdottir and Franklin Defonay, who combined their names when they married and moved to Greenbriar in an attempt to leave their old lives on the east coast behind them. This was three years before Charlie and his sister Delilah were born. Delilah didn't make it, but Charlie did. The Inviphones were heartbroken, and no less so because they'd almost expected it, they were hardly the first family this had happened to in Greenbriar, but they just couldn't bring themselves to leave their newfound home.
Despite their intense loss and grief, the Invifone family strove to hold onto what little happiness they had. So while Charlie never had a twin, he did get a little sibling several years later, Sam, and even before (and after) Sam came around the Invifone house was always filled with lots of beings, and between all the Dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and rodents over the years the family had something of a miniature zoo on their hands. But that's just how they liked it. Charlie and Sam's mom, as a veterinarian, often was called away to surrounding towns or had to spend time at the office, so it was their dad's job to stay at home and help with the kids.
Thusly did Charlie grow up, surrounded by creatures of all kinds who loved him to whom he was able to give love. however, happy families do not world-wise people make, and thus it was that Charlie fell in with a group of older kids who were more than happy to have a 'pipsqueak' who was 'too dumb to make fun of' around. This went on for years, Charlie running around with kids who were not only making fun of him behind his back, but in front of it too. While Charlie never joined in on any of the 'merry-making' at others expense, it is much to his own shame that he did nothing to stop it either. Or at least not until the summer before his freshman year. That was when Charlie realized just how horrid some of these kids could be, because they had turned their sights on Sam. The ensuing fight wasn't pretty, but it was the first time Charlie felt that level of free in a long time.
the next 3 years went...well they went the way High School goes for a lot of kids, better than it could've, but still not fantastic. The growth spurt helped, there are a lot worse ways to be than tall, solid, and likeable. Charlie made lots of friends, worked hard at his studies, and even managed to make a little money in the off-season working at his mom's clinic.
Then there was the incident. To Charlie, it all felt like it happened in the blink of an eye, Sam on the other hand belieces it happened in slow motion, everyone else seems to take one side or the other. First game of the year, Charlie was just doing his job, blocking for his Runningback, when, and the kid who did it gets bigger with every telling, his legs got taken out from under him, he landed on them weird and Sam says that the crack should take his brother's spot as the second loudest thing in Greenbriar. Then, just like that, Charlie was out for the rest of his senior year, and the cage bars began to close around him.
So, for the past 8 months Charlie has had his right leg in a cast. Of course, it would've been about 3 months, but Charlie just seemed to be unable to give it rest. He's getting close to having it taken off, but the closer that date gets the more restless Charlie gets, and the more caged he feels.
