Exchanging some credits with the key Tic glided down from his seat and landed rather uncomfortably on his face at the base of the stairs. Groaning he pushed himself up from the hard wooden floor and started dragging himself up the stairs to the landing above, he had to find the room that match the blurred number that danced along its metal surface. Slowly he trudged up the hall and compared the incomprehensible metal bevel to the ones on the doors till he found a match.
"...on land or sea or foam" he muttered attempting to recall the ancient tune. The room swung open with relatively little resistance once the key had actually been used on the lock. The room look a whole lot simpler then one would have thought Tic would have favored. Polished wooden floors, a soft bed, a small Trideo set and table with a few shitty romance novels strewn atop it.
Kicking the door shut behind him Tic wasted as little time as possible getting atop the bed and passing out.

"Well if you aren't feeling up for a chat right now, I'll be off" Koru slowly got to his feet very careful to not lose his balance again. Reaching out into the moonlight a brand creaked slowly and placed itself in the waiting hand steadying him. With little effort the stray branch lifted the elf off his feet and slowly lowered him to the ground
"If ya need me I'll be inside and do try to be careful with that fire wooded area and all"Once safely on the ground Koru made his way inside, as he crossed the threshold he felt a shift in the world, everything felt familiar however different. Maybe this tavern has some secrets to it, granted from both outside and inside it looked like your average tavern in the middle of nowhere. Everyone in the tavern looked to be so diverse, it was like a goldmine of interesting people peppering the tavern. Koru couldn't keep the grin off his face and had to stop himself from prancing up along to each table to ask each patron about themselves.
Taking a deep breath he slowly walked to the bar, he set his large book on the counter and awaited service.
