I have my post up :)
Amber had been loitering around near the center of Ambrosia, snacking on some cheesy bread for her morning meal, when she found herself being assaulted by a flying coin from the corner of her vision. Instinctively, Amber whipped her arm upwards to catch the speeding object, though it fumbled in her hand several times before she managed to grasp it, while shielding her face from the potential collision.

“For your services.” A man of average build had been the one to toss Amber the coin. He was a civilian who had enlisted the mage to help him with a small matter concerning an uncooperative ex-girlfriend - the usual kind of problem, it seemed. He only wanted to mess with her for a bit, so Amber was asked to burn a few things here and there, heat some others and let him know so he could watch her reactions in amusement. The story and reasoning behind it were believable enough, though petty and not very appealing nor interesting. Amber never really asked questions concerning the work she was hired for; it was better that way, less messy and more efficient.

“My pleasure,” Amber responded after collecting herself from her earlier stumble, providing an additional curtsy to her words. She laughed lightly, “Remember me again if you need any help!”

The man gave Amber a smile before turning around and leaving silently. More people had filled the roads of the city now that it was getting further into the morning, and most of them seemed to be heading towards the relatively new city square at the west side of town. Amber didn’t often keep herself up to date with Ambrosia’s events - most were rather stale gatherings of old men and important officials discussing topics of politics and others that Amber found no interest in. In any case, she was often out of town either way, normally on caravan protection duty or simply for exploration.

Deciding it were a better idea to walk into a nearby bakery than to follow the masses heading west, Amber browsed the many freshly baked breads. The cheesy bread in her hands from earlier had quickly disappeared into the gaping abyss of her stomach. She had more mercenary duties to attend to later on, and it was a good excuse to eat more for extra energy. Her next few moments were spent deciding between a croissant and a pretzel, while the Jarl’s speech began to play through the crystal-powered speakers that reached every inch of the bustling city.

Her boss’ speech began with the usual motivating, inspirational babble that citizens of Ambrosia just couldn’t get enough of. Amber assumed that the speech would be like many others, but to her surprise she found herself listening intently to his words. This project he announced tugged at Amber’s penchant for exploration which compelled her to the plaza, where the sign-ups were taking place. Well, that would be the more noble reason; she couldn’t deny how pleasing the promise of money was. You could never have too much of it.

Amber had to be decisive if she were to hurry towards adventure and snag a formal spot on the list. The Jarl would most certainly recommend or enlist members of his mercenary group to the cause anyway, but Amber wanted to be sure. She quickly grabbed two croissants from the shelves, abandoning the pretzels, and tossed two coins at the table by the bakery owner before dashing out the wooden doors. Many other qualified members of various Ambrosian factions also appeared to be gravitating towards the plaza. The magnitude of interest surprised her, seeing how it would have a certain level of danger and risk involved. Though it could be safe to say that most of them have gotten used to these things.

Crowds didn’t agree with Amber. The main reason being the buildup of heat the radiated from her figure and repelled the crowds away from her like two identical ends of a magnet. Needless to say, it wasn’t very hard for the mage to progress through the mob - as she leisurely consumed her buttery pastries - and get her name down on the papers.

I've been busy with work the past few days, but I can get the post up tomorrow.
If I stopped drawing because other people were a little more skilled than me, I wouldn't even be close to where I am today. You have to be positive if you ever want to get any better. You should look at other art and feel inspired, not upset. It's difficult, but if you have a passion for drawing then you shouldn't just give up.

I like your art! Keep drawing c:
Gotcha. Removed Manipulation.
Added it in. Since there's a maximum of 7 skills, would I need to take another one out?
I've finished! Let me know if there's anything you want to change.
