<Snipped quote by Pippins>
To expand on this more, imagine the white space as an invulnerable and eternal first place or alpha reality, with the beings who inhabit it - our characters - being much the same. As far as creations go, those are the finite imaginings of our characters, and though our characters can personally interact with them in pretty much any way they please, they don't technically have a permanent place there. Which is why "dying" can happen in said creations, but instead of ceasing to exist like said creations, our characters merely reform in that eternal space.
How long does this process take? Well I'd say it, like much else in the white space, depends on the character in question. This way you can have someone write their character out of the RP without leaving any loose ends behind if need be.
Of course the dying part can also be seen as variable, since it all ultimately depends on the characters involved.
Ah, nice! So about that first sentence. The characters should basically be in their first stage? So, about anything can happen to them, and if they "die", they'll just go back to their alpha form? Since our characters would basically be godlike figures of this blank universe, wouldn't their power ability be endless? There should probably be some restrictions on what they could make as well.
And that second part of your post! If a character dies, will all of their creations and imaginings just disappear with them?
I'm just gonna make a template real quick.
