Ryan lit another cigarette, nodding to Seams as he introduced himself but couldn't think of an appropriate abbreviation so remained mute.

When the door opened finally he followed the rest of the group at a more sedate pace. Walking down the large hall he absently shifted orientation 90° at a rate of 1G and smoothly lifted his foot. End result was he started walking along the wall as if he were standing on level ground.

By the time he reached the rest of them he was on the ceiling, better to keep his smoke away from the others, and layed down on his back with his fingers laced behind his head so he could easily look "up" at the others.

"Would you be the boss man?" He called down to Chris. "How's this all gonna work?"
After Plutonium introduced himself Ryan let a cocky smirk twist his lips around the stub of a cigarette and sketched a quick salute at the man. "Nice ta meetcha, Pluto," he said. He glanced at Kimberly as she practically started drooling over his bike and Gingers Mustang and nodded when she introduced herself and the kid with her.

"Kim and Con, got it," he said, shortening both their names to a single syllable. He never was certain why he tended to shorten people's names, it was just a habit he'd had his whole life.

"Seriously, who do we have ta kill ta get inside this place?" The last was said with a frown and a glare at the huge door. He stomped his way over and lifted one fist and brought it diem against the giant door. As his hand moved through the air a strange distortion could be seen surrounding it and his fist didn't actually stroke the door, just the distortion fix.

The resulting strike was like a giant ringing a bell and the echoes could be heard reverberating through the mountain.

He grinned and turned around. "That should get someone's attention."
The black Mustang was unusual. Ryan took another slow drag on his cigarette, eyes narrowed slightly as he observed the car and the red headed male that exited the vehicle. Mustangs weren't known for being quiet, the car had obviously had some serous after market modification done and Ryans fingers itched to get a look under the hood. But he shifted his focus. They had all been standing around but very few words had actually been exchanged.

"Oi, Ginger," he called. "Why don't we all join tha class? I think introductions could be in order ifn we're supposed ta be workin'as a team, right? Names Ryan, Ryan Murphy. Ye can call me Ryan, or Murphy, whichever ye prefer."
The engine rumbled like a beast beneath him, the vibration carrying through the heavy frame and into his body so that every nerve ending seemed to buzz with power.

A quick glance at his mirror showed him the lane was clear so he hit the turn signal with his thumb and slid over to take his exit off the freeway, slowing as he came to the light.

In the distance he could see the shape of Mt. Justice and another tingle ran through him, one that had nothing to do with the massive motorcycle beneath him.

"A new Young Justice," he muttered to himself, grinning from ear to ear behind the visor of his helmet. Within fifteen minutes he pulled up to find a notify collection of individuals already waiting at the entrance. He cut the power and coasted to a stop, turning so he was parallel to the door and turned off the ignition.

"Oi," he called over to the others already there. "How goes it, lovelies? Tis a fine mornin' for bashing in some bad guy heads, idn't it?" He had a thick accent and a cheerful smile as he placed his helmet on the handle bar then turned in his seat, back against the tank with his legs stretched out toward the tail of the bike.

From an inside pocket of his jacket he pulled a pouch of tobacco and papers and quickly rolled himself a cigarette which he lit and dragged a deep breath of smoke into his lungs.

"Why're we all standin' around out here like a buncha knobs? Somebody ferget ta leave a key under tha mat fer us?" He asked, a puff of smoke escaping his mouth with every word.

Half the team jumped him one day dragging him into the empty gym and when they started punching him he felt a pressure burst through his skin and the next thing he new everyone but himself was floating in the air, along with all the equipment within 30 feet of where he stood. In a panic, he ran away, leaving them floating there.

He didn't go home, afraid of what was going to happen. The next day he heard that the players had all fallen to the ground after he left but they identified him and police were looking for him for "attacking innocent students"

The next decade of his life was spent traveling from place to place, learning to use his abilities as best he could. Eventually he was contacted in regards to the new Young Justice, which brings us to today and the start of putting his abilities to good use.

Notes - Speaks with a thick Irish accent and has a tendency to sing random Irish folk songs, especially when he's been drinking.

@Mr_pink love the signature gif, in bruges, great movie.

Ok looking at some of these characters I am thinking my character idea might be a bit under powered overall but we'll see.

I am intrigued. I have a couple different characters I could try. I'll run them by you, see what's acceptable.
Loved the English voice actors in Cowboy Bebop, especially for Ed, she was my favorite. Glad to see I'm not the only heretic around here! Lol.

Yeah I work best with some background noise, so I'll put on music or a movie or show that I've seen before and leave a tiny window on my computer so I can open my books and write. Best of all world's that way and I've got a huge project starting in a couple of days so I'm gearing up for it.
Mai'lo perked up a bit after hearing mention of food and one hand snapped out, lightning fast, and lifted a sandwich from the basket. He didn't understand why she threw a sandwich at Matsuta but shrugged it off and bit into the food anyway.

"It's weird that we have to eat. It's not like these are real bodies that are exerting energy. Our bodies are lying in bed in the real world doing nothing at all. This is all just in our heads." He shrugged and took another bite. "Oh well. At least it tastes good. Thanks for the food," he added with a nod in Iris' direction.

"I don't know about everyone else but I think we need to level up as quickly as possible. Staying strong is the main way we're going to survive in here and that's not just thinking about the monsters." He nodded toward Kip as he he took the last bite of his sandwich and tossed the wrapper on the ground which shattered into shards of light and disappeared.

"Kip says she knows some good spots to EXP farm. If we head out now we should be able to camp partway and really get to work in the morning, sound about right?" He added the last to Kip directly and prayed he hadn't just sounded like a complete idiot.
