Edith smiled as some of her children was starting to walk into the kitchen. Greeting them back as they greeted her. She looked up in time to see Jethro "Jethro are you alright sweetie?"

Personality: Jade is always conscious of people do to being bullied because other students did not understand her disability. She is not a leader she regularly tries to follow those she knows has a smart head on their shoulders. At times her thoughts are all over the place even making it hard to pay attention to someone who is speaking with her. Jade has a hard time lying not just because it feels wrong but also because she is terrible at it. She tends to keep most of her problems and doubts to herself.
Bio: Jade was born in late winter. She was two months early so the doctors had to put her on a breathing machine and give her a shot of betamethasone to help her lungs develop. When she was five her brothers Tristan and Samuel were born. They had two very different personalities they were like night and day. That is also when her mother Norah started noticing her daughter like to count to five before she went to sleep. She also noticed her child had to touch the doorknob twice before she left or entered a place. When Jade had reached seven she had made her only friend. They started playing around an old shed her friend dared her to go into it long enough for her to count to ten. Jade was scared but she had only one friend and did not want to lose him. So she tapped the handle twice and went inside. The boy thought it was a funny idea to lock the shed. Jade started to panic because of the darkness. She was in the shed until the next morning because the boy was scared to tell her parents he did not want to get in trouble for locking her in there. This is how her fear of the darkness came about.
When Jade started middle school her OCD and Noctiphobia was at its worse she was seeing doctors all the time and she was starting to getting bullied daily. However she did have a slight light in all the darkness. She had finally found a great friend named Willow. Willow would always protect Jade when she could. The time Jade hit High school her OCD was not so bad she could live with it. However her Noctiphobia was still as troublesome as ever. Once she graduated her father wanted to go to college with Willow but the thought of that scared Jade she did not have that kind of strength yet. As Willow went off to college Jade stayed at her parents’ house and finally got a job at a gas station.
Job Before The Outbreak: Jade was currently unemployed at the time. She had just been fired at her old job (A gas station) because she refused to work night shifts.
Disability/Fear: Jade has a disability and a fear. She has slight OCD and Noctiphobia (Fear of nigh/dark).
Weapon of Choice: Metal baseball bat.

Edith was in the kitchen fixing lunch when the phone rang. While humming a soft melody she placed the knife down and grabbed the wall phone. “Hello, this is Edith.” A voice ran out the phone. It was her sister, she would call around lunch every day, and Edith hated it her sister knew how many children she had to feed. While she had her back turned she did not see her sweet little girl Elizabeth run in and take some cookies. “Yes, I understand all this but I really must go I have so much to do. I love you. Bye.”
After hanging up the phone, Edith started up her melody again, and picked up the knife an began chopping the carrots.
