Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

Ben the Fighter

Ben rubbed his eyes, letting out a groan as he wiped away the tiredness. He'd felt like he'd been sleeping for a year. He went through his usual morning routine, which consisted of him sitting up, stretching his neck and yawning as he did so. Strong arms reached to the sky and his chest swelled as he took in a deep breath, before he leaped up and shook his head. His hair was crazy, as it usually was when he'd been sleeping. He wondered what was happening in the rest of the bunker.

But first, he needed to wake himself up some more. He stretched his legs and arms, up-down, side to side. Suddenly a foot was launched in a snap kick, before he held the position with his leg raised, and then repeated the process with his other leg. "Ok cool." he breathed, and then headed into the hallway, wondering where he was needed. He hadn't really spoken to the gang, preferring to keep to himself mostly. But finally he seemed fully prepared to deal with them, because without each other, there was no survival.
Posting on the morrow, gents
"Oh, I can't promise anything. But an attempt is better than staying in here and burning to death!" the Imperial said, bubbly as could be. Was she not afraid at all? "Uh, true." he replied amused, albeit a little perplexed. He was still a bit confused when it came to women who had no tusks, They always seemed to surprise him, though not in a bad way usually. He supposed opposites attracted, though he usually didn't go after any of the pretty ones he had seen. He was a bit too introverted and battle-hardened for that. He preferred to fight than flirt.

Bardeck only had to stretch to prepare. Other than his shield on the ground, he had very little unclad or unstrapped onto his fit frame. He simply closed his eyes and took in a deep breath, remembering his training and convictions. He was more than ready to face these Daedra. Death in battle was not considered bravery to the likes of him, though he admired the trait in others. It was those who wished to live and face all of the troubles of the world that would be brave in his eyes, though it would perhaps be cowardice if an elder did not go and seek a worthy death. To die without showing his strength of arms lived a life less than fulfilled.

In truth, Bardeck wasn't entirely converted to the Orismer way of life, but he did agree with many of their ways, and that was one of them. Battle was where one was truly alive. Gideon beside him wagged his bushy tail and sat up like a soldier awaiting inspection, furry chest puffed out and big head held high and alert. Bardeck was too preoccupied with noticing Gideon that he didn't see the Bosmer stroll up beside him until she was already speaking.

He raised his brow as she spoke and nodded, smiling. He opened his mouth to speak a few times, but she seemed to go from one topic to the next like a fluttering bird. Speaking of which, he admitted he found it endearing she had a little bird friend that she wanted to keep safe. Still, all this attention made his flush a bit. "You going out there with us shows you're useful. If you could hold of whatever mages we have out there, I'll keep the big guys off you." he said, winking.

As soon as the breach was opened, he and Gideon strode forward into the thickest of the fighting. He pointed his weapon at the Scamps, telling his hound to take care of a few of them before his own eyes fell on a Clannfear. The ravenous and Sauren Daedra roared at him, and lunged. Bardeck hefted his shield and held the strike at bay, though it skidded his boots across the pavement of the street. He shoved his Axe head at the thing's snout to stun it, and then struck it in the skull while it was dazed. Another Clannfear sought to take a chance and snap at him from behind, but he spun and knocked it away with his shield. The first Clannfear with a cloven skull whipped out in its death throes and knocked Bardeck to the ground. The Warrior hit the street, skidding his skin across the cobblestones to draw a small bit of blood from his arm. He gritted his teeth and got to his knees to block the next Clannfear claw.

Meanwhile, Gideon held onto a scamp's neck stubbornly while another attempted to scorch the War dog with a fireball spell. The fire erupted between them as Gideon hit the caster like a cannon ball. It caused a reactionary yelp from Gideon, but he seemed to be under control with only a bit of damage. The very alive (but dazed) Scamp along with the singed Gideon fell beside the woman Brona.

It seems I must still await @The Fated Fallen and @Fetzen :)
NOICE
@gcoldFeel better, my friend.
Lets get these posts on the road
The younger sellsword watched the women trade verbal blows back and forth, opening his mouth to speak but hesitating. It seemed he didn't want to seem like an ox-haunch, but in the end he simply spoke past them. "Do you have a map of the land, my good Harmarch?" he asked. He'd seen enough Catclaws in his life to have a sixth sense that this Gypsy woman might perchance be more than she appeared. Then again, even a common Gypsy that was earnest about herself often had hidden qualities. The Elven Knight seemed the perfect candidate to keep the other's attention so he could find out more. He saw the silent girl take a swig of her drink, and chuckled. She seemed less than impressed at the exchange or her future team.

The Duergar's gaze was about as dangerous as the daggers sheathed at his belt, even if he made no threatening moves and simply leaned against one of the stout pillars that lined the throne room. He stared intently at the Harmarch, though he glanced at the new Dwarf that walked in and he spat casually in his direction. There was bad blood between the Deep Dwarves and those that lived closer to the surface, though not so dangerous of a relationship as the Drow and Surface Elves.

"Hold!" the elder called, holding up his hand for silence. He pointed to the sellsword and assured him a map would be provided, though the Highfells were not so well known to anyone save a few well trod rangers, so wild and haunted of a place were they. "Now, onto the business of price. I believe my price is honest enough, I think. In fact I was planning on paying less, but took into account the dangers you would face. However, I will allow you to keep whatsoever you find on this expedition so long as it is not of Thentur make, for that would imply that you partook such an item from a tomb, you see. But indeed," he said to Darius. "I might offer further employment if this is done accordingly and well."

"I'll take your offer." the twin bladed Mercenary said, hands on his hips. The Duergar glanced once more at the other Dwarf, then nodded to the Harmarch. "Aye, I'll go."
@Not FishingGood post.
Also, it might be the easiest to switch between your two characters with a line like this

Just type [hr.] without the period, and it'll make a full line :)
Thurin Stoutarm

Elvish Sorcery? It must be! For what else could so control the aspects of nature as such? He hefted his Axe as the vines and branches twirled and moved on their own. Even Ofnir lending the catalyst to open the gateway did not null how wary this old soldier could not help but be. The mist seemed ominous to the paranoid Dwarf as well. Though let no bard sing nor no story teller regale the time when Thurin Stoutarm did not go into the breach! He breathed in deeply, and then marched forward after the excited Wizard and his companions. The diminutive Halfling did not seem to scared. Why should he be, then? He simply muttered something about 'Wizards and their tricks,' and strode forward into uncertainty.
