Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

Hmmm...not sure what to do.
He didn't hear Feri at first. All he could hear was his heavy breathing and the pounding of his heart in his ears. The images were subsiding, thankfully. However, waking up so suddenly took its toll on him and he couldn't see very well through blurry eyes, opening them to roughly take in a view of the ground. His large hands closed, dirt being scraped into his fingers as they turned to fists slowly. "I'm ok...I'm ok," he whispered to himself.

Gideon had walked over and nudged Rannon under the armpit on his opposite side, and Rannon fell back to land on his rump. Sweat beaded down his face, and his iron eyes fell upon Feri. His lips parted, and he looked taken aback for a moment. The dream had been so vivid, he felt like he had been back at Ostagar, almost regarding his meeting with Feri being the dream. But she was there, concern on her face.

He regarded her a moment, and seeing her there to support him despite having only met a day previous. He didn't know why, but it was welcome nonetheless.
"I'm fine," he said, his voice breathy and rough from lack of water during the night. "Just...my head went somewhere I don't want to revisit. Don't worry about me, ok?" He reached forward and rubbed a bit of the dirt off her cheek with the only clean part of his hand, the knuckles. It was playful, reassuring, and a sign of affection all in one. He gave her a smile, and met her eyes. "Thank you." he said earnestly, and then stood up to his full height. He reached a hand down to help her up, and would haul her up as effortlessly as a crane if she accepted.

"I say we eat while we walk," he told her, his visage yet again hard, like a soldiers. Gideon reared up and gave a few barks, excited to get going, and perhaps expressing happiness his best friend was alright. "I hope you slept better than I did," he joked to her.

Calanon responded with a "as you wish" to her, and got comfortable as she went to gather what wood she had left behind. He knew that it would be a welcome thing to keep the fire going this night. They were not yet in the coldest region they were to travel, but a warm fire was always good for the spirit, and the body. It roared strongly for the moment, but he'd use the wood she brought back to add to it once it was her watch.

She returned to find Calanon in the same spot, though unmoving and very much alike with the tree he perched within. His dark colors blended in well, and his light swaying matched those of the branches. As Rayadell fell asleep, Brogach knelt down and curled up across the fire from her. Calanon gazed at them both for a moment, considering how similar the two were in his mind. The main difference was that Brogach had nothing to hide, and Calanon suspected that Rayadell had her secrets. If anything, she was even less talkative than Brogach in her own way.

Calanon smiled at that, and refocused on his watch. His bow out and arrow within easy reach, he sat there and enjoyed the nighttime air, and the soft sounds that reached his Elven ears. Fortunately, there was little that needed to be worried about, he found out after most of the night was gone. Nothing had attacked them. He was certain that would change all too quickly when they passed the mountain range, so it was a good first night. He softly landed atop the ground, and knelt before Rayadell. "Would you like to take the watch?" he asked her.
@Peik

Gonna get a super sexy post in a day or two. It's super sexy because I'm the one writing it, btw.
@Ink BloodAs long as it's 2 paragraphs, you're good. Remember, you just met two people out of the blue! How do you feel? I usually update every weekend anyway.
The Soldier

Meldyr still held his gaze at the Crow while his men began to escort Otto out of the room. That is, until a number of events occurred. Juniper speaking up he should have foreseen, and indeed it did matter little. His men would take her out of the room readily enough anyway. Meldyr only gave the merest glances that way, before returning his eyes to The Crow, still brandishing his weapon. That is, until Nalia stood up.

Meldyr had to admit he was a tad more at ease with The Crow being familiar with Fiona, but when Nalia ordered his men, Meldyr knew that he should trust her judgement and sheathed his own weapons. "Stand down," he said, his voice carrying a silent strength. His men followed his orders, standing back from Otto and Juniper and standing as still as statues. "Guard the guests," Meldyr ordered his men. "I want double patrols around the halls. Two men flank me as I escort the Lady and Second of the House."

His men bowed to him, and hustled to follow his orders. Meldyr on the other hand, gave a bow to Nalia. "I will be right outside your study, should you need anything my lady." he told her, and when he rose he merely gazed forward. He made sure he looked at no one, so as not to give away any sense of anger toward any one person. Two of his finest flanked the Guard Captain, ready to serve as he was.
Glad to see the hustle, guys!
Skarr took some brief happiness in doing something that even the crazed Asari thought was off. It was an odd thing, to see him grin. He usually had such a cold demeanor. Anyhow, he knew if his plan of pushing the grenades at the enemy did not work, it wouldn't falter the odd plan the other biotics were already enacting, so why not do it? Most didn't understand that Shockwave wasn't a series of explosions, but intense pressures.

Either way, everything went to Hell next. The Big veteran was considering the advice of the younger Krogan, though the reason Skarr did not shout it out was simple. He'd been desensitized to how teammates would react after centuries. He guessed it was all of those Vorcha and Batarians he'd fought beside, but most would never listen to orders. Good thing some of these teammates seemed to. He followed suit mechanically, making sure his weapons were reloaded and getting all of the thermal packs he could.

"By the Clans!" Skarr called as the Husks began streaming in. The explosions and rupturing ceiling he was used to, but the Husks he'd not expected to see again. He remembered them all too well. They weren't destructible, and he'd prove it yet again. He aided in the firing of the turrets and Husks with his Assault rifle, but his main addition to the effort was going forward to save that human woman's ass.

Powerful but controlled, Skarr barrelled forward and knocked over any obstacle or stray and half broken Husk in his way to make it to the fore. With one powerful hand, he grabbed the slim woman by the waist and hauled her up. "This isn't a one warrior show. If you want to keep shooting, hold still." The Krogan lifted her to set bottom on his back hump, her legs able to fall across his massive skull like a makeshift seat. As he guided her up there, he unloaded a shell of his Claymore shotgun into a husk, blowing its fragments everywhere. He slowly backed up with Salissa, who pretty much now had a warmount to fire upon.
