Sorry I've been out of it lately. Real life's been catching up to me, and I've been left rather uninspired in being able to write for this. I don't want to give up yet, but...

Don't give up!
:D
I think that Yeshua will get along with Paris on the battle-field, since Paris has some sort of personality trigger that makes him go insane on the battle-field.
"Two Months, well... jesus."

Over the past two months, something hit Paris. There had been six main things,

  • _ He had developed a crush, on one of the other pilots, it started the first time they met... around the time of the Yeshua incident.
  • - His personality changed... He was calm, collective... and rather focused.
  • - He avoided mostly everyone, except a few. He avoided Elora, completely... He'd always shiver when he thought about that.
  • - He discovered... something odd, it was related to the lightning strike, back on Delta... his home planets full name was Deltariaz V, known as Deltaz V, or Delta.
  • - He spoke to Koehler every day, during his comatose... Koehler doesn't even know, or at-least Paris thinks so.
  • - Don't call Paris, Orion... He doesn't hate the name, but he hates people calling him by his first name, he found it rather informal.

Only people close to him, could call him what they wanted.

Paris was by himself in the dojo... He never really paid attention to the fighting style that they offered to train for most pilots.
He worked on mastering Taekwondo, aswell five other types of Martial Arts. Taekwondo was clearly mastered by Paris ages ago, he had started reading up on Kung Fu, Ju-Jitsu and Drunken Fist (For the worst case scenario), he had stopped caring about belts, with his martial arts, and started working on learning as much as possible, so he could eventually just make his own fighting style... especially involving that odd 'power' maybe, it was a power... it was rather strong for fighting outside of his Framwerk, he was even able to use it inside ZEUS aswell... It was a secret still, he was planning on telling Lorenzo today.

"Roundhouse Left, Uppercut Right, Block, Block, Scissor Kick, Dodge, Block left, right, Block Up, Duck, Dodge left, Block up, Roll right, Flying Dragon Kick, Twin Viper, Roundhouse right, Roundhouse right, Finish".

Paris repeated this over and over again, different moves and variations, using the training dummy as a target... He was determined, especially in class work as well... If I he wasn't practicing his martial arts, he was studying the Cruxi and not just his own 'Werk, but everyone's... Learning everyone's weaknesses and strengths, who to be with and when... Studying different scenarios, even though he will never be prepared at-least he can get some knowledge and experience before going into battle. He rarely spoke with anyone, and if he was speaking... it was whilst he was stuck in his books... or if he was helping someone out. The only one he would even pay over more than moderate attention to was his crush, she pilot a ranged frame and he swears she didn't have a clue that he liked her. He tried to keep those aside, especially when training.

He'd usually leave those thoughts for when he couldn't sleep... which wasn't moderate or rare, every Sunday at the same time roughly, he would not fall asleep at all... for about three hours. He worked way too hard and he was still helping everyone else, with almost anything they asked, it never phased Paris to help someone, he always did. He did care about others, but he only showed it to those close to him, and nobody was really "close" except Koehler, whom he doesn't remember but swears he told him about his crush... Apparently it was obvious, well thats what Paris thinks... he doesn't even know if Koehler knows, he probably does... Paris's mind was a bit fuzzy at the time. Paris kept on fighting, beating the anger out of himself... He had been angry today... He really wanted to kill the Cruxi, so bad.

After practicing, Paris decided it was time to relax for once... He rushed over to the rec room to play the Piano, considering he always left at-least 30 minutes a day to play the instrument, it was his only leisure... Apart from piloting Zeus. He stroked the keys as he sat down and decided to play a song he learn't from a book, it was from some sort of entertainment that was watched a long time ago in history, all the way back in the 21st century, back on Earth. The song he was playing today was meant for someone, yet he never told anyone who, Koehler probably had an idea... Paris knew for a fact that Koehler was one of his best mates here... he knew Paris better than anyone, he called him Z most of the time aswell... Koehler was a great friend, though this song was for him, obviously it was for someone else.....

This was the first time, that Paris had gotten through the whole song without stopping. He thought it was perfect... after a month of learning and it was a great piece... for a great person. He stroked each note with as much grace and emphasis as possible, setting the dynamics for each verse, chorus and bridge. He went up and down the keyboard, lightning fast... In-fact this was where he found out that he had a crush on her, aswell as where he found out about that odd power... So many things originate from this room... Paris shed one tear... after had finished his emotional piece of gratitude... It had taken him so long, to move-on as much as he could from Kirsten, and she would've been happy that he had found someone else to be dumb for... Someone else that he hoped liked him back, he hadn't felt for someone in a long time... He was glad that the only rules stated, that if we let our emotions go through onto the battle-field that's when they stop us... or something on those lines... I'm glad they let us be rather social, though we tended not to be. On another topic, that caught Paris was the fact that Lorenzo had still not gotten used to Paris calling him L, Paris thought so at-least... He decided to give Lorenzo a sense of 'superiority' by calling him by Mr. L, for some reason refusing to say sir... a bad habit maybe? Paris sat there, realizing that anyone in the rec room could probably hear him at the moment, playing the piano... like usual. Yet He sat there, as if he wanted to be approached or something... He hadn't relaxed or even taken a breather for a long time, a very long time.
Paris scratched his scar, on his right eye, it was rather noticeable... and he got it from the odd power incident... He kept waiting like Koehler would magically appear or someone came in... Hell, the circumstance or awkwardness of Elora showing her face would be rather unsettling for Paris... He didn't hate Elora, he just didn't want to be reminded of Kirsten.

lol. This is exactly why I posted mine and Arkmageddon cats post before hand
So by now, everyones seen everyones frames (After the time skip)
I presume.

@Cassowarysaur
By god, Yeshua seems mental... What is dis?
And why!?

Something's stirring.
So many theories.

If it's on the lines of the people in control of project Framewerk, actually having a sinister goal, and it was never about saving humanity from the Cruxi.

Orion might go AWOL.
Ok, I've finally caughtup with the OOC and the IC posts. And wow. Did not expect to see people going at each other's throats so early.

Anywho, just so I got this down, we've had some people dropping in and out? I've kinda lost track of who is in and not. I'd like to try and do a collab with the new guys at some point.

Hello, Hello, Hello.

Zeus is my frame and Orion is my pilot.

Pleased to meet you! I haven't seen you here yet, but I assume you were apart of this before me.
If theres gonna be a time skip.
I want to establish a strong friendship with someone else besides Koehler.
So maybe if someone was willing, maybe Orion built a rather strong friendship with someone.

Then again, I don't think Orion will be enemies with anyone...
He'd probably even care for the ones that are assholes.
Collab 2 - Enticing Music

Orion had walked by the rec room. He had heard the Piano playing, yet he dare not intrude upon something so emotional, at-least not till the end. He sat beside the observation window, just out of sight. He wanted to hear strings vibrate, he wanted the music absorbed into his body... He liked beautiful pianists. He had only known one through the entirity of living, a close-friend who escaped with Orion on Delta, yet she refused to sign up for Framewerk. She didn't really understand Orion's reasons for becoming a killing machine, yet she understood that he had to do it, no matter what. She had probably sent him some gifts, she was his only true friend in this universe so far, and if he got the chance he'd meet her again. The point was, she played piano like no other. In-fact she taught Orion... yet Orion hadn't seen someone as experienced as, well whoever was playing the Piano at this time.

Orion waited till it was over. He could slightly hear crying... yet the only reason he heard the piano, was it was apparently hooked up to a speaker system. Orion sat there, he really didn't want to intrude, yet he felt like whoever was playing this music. It must've meant something to them, emotionally. It was a rather good piece actually, he had heard of said piece. Yet he'd never heard the entire thing. Musically talented humans are a treat, especially since different planets have different cultures. Orion though, he fell in love with Piano, aswell as the Ocarina. Both he played fluently, he urged to play the piano, especially to cheer them up. It was something he was good at, the caring for others. Strange that he piloted a killing machine though.

After a while, Orion walked in as the girl sat silent, on the side of the piano. He didn't have a darn clue on what to say to her. He wasn't even sure if he should've said something, but he did. Orion always did something, if someone was unhappy. His job was made harder after the Cruxi, practically everyone was 'unhappy' . So many complications. Orion lent over and spoke in his same old soothing tone, it always showed his personality straight up, kind and caring with a little bit of geekyness. Before Orion could even say a word, he clumsily tripped on a wire, that was on the ground.

"Uh ar- WOAAAEAH!" Orion hit the ground with a small thump!
"Ouch!" Was the first word out of his mouth afterwards.

Alyssa's entire body jerked upwards into a standing position as she heard the boy's voice, and the following thud, not recognizing him at all. She soon realized that her face was still wet with tears, and quickly turned away to wipe her face dry with her shirt before turning back to the boy who lay there on the ground. Alyssa's face grew red as her heart raced; she had just been so totally and completely startled by this boy that came out of nowhere, and was embarrassed by the thought of him seeing her play...and more importantly, cry.

As she trembled from the fright and had her hands held close to her chest, she gingerly took a step forward and slightly reached out with her hand. "U-Uhm...a-are y-you...okay?" Alyssa managed to say, choking on the words as she spoke. God...that scared the hell out of me...

Orion scrambled to his feet, cheeks red... He hated falling. "Gaah, what was that" he thought. He then looked at the girl that was playing the piano. He figured out that it was something emotionally attached to her, in one way or another. It seems like it was sadness, her eyes left behind the red rash, after you cry. It's in-mistakeable, yet Orion decided to not mention that.
"Ahh... By that look on your face, I'm assuming your not okay. Looks like you need cheering up." By now, Orion's accent was showing through. According to history, his home planet was colonized only by one country from earth. So everyone from Delta , sounded like what was known as 'Australians' it was a rather rare accent, yet planet Delta was full of em. To even know what an 'Australian Accent' was is something else. She had already been on the side of the piano, so he decided to sit down, "I pilot the Zeus Framewerk." He smiled, as his rather calm demeanor emanated from his body. He decided that maybe he wasn't the only one with problems, that maybe if he focused on helping others... he would forget about his own... deal with them later.

"Is it alright if I play a song? Don't worry, it'll be a classic." he smiled, as his face lit up. He was smiling and just acting normal, being a nice person wasn't hard... being yourself is literally the first step. Making someone else comfortable is the next. Orion's glasses were lucky not to break. He cleaned the red rims on the outside, and washed the lens. He scratched his face, as the two metal plates where itchy. They were detachable, they were used to help Orion control electricty out of combat. It was quite nifty, more of a gimmick to show people. Occasionally, if he scratched his skin you'd see a slight spark, nothing flashy... he waited for an answer, he really wanted to cheer her up. Without directly mentioning something about anyone's past, he said "For what it's worth, you're probably the best pianist I've heard in a while. I understand, piano mus- no, music in general can be quite emotional." He smiled, still waiting for an answer. "So, wanna hear this song?" His smile changed to a smirk.

Alyssa found herself unable to speak for awhile, but the boy didn't seem to mind as he continued to talk. This...boy was strange to her, especially the accent that he had...but perhaps that was just because Alyssa was just so embarrassed? Her cheeks proceeded to get redder as the boy not only commented about cheering her up, but also complemented her piano skills.

"U-Uh...th-thank y-you..." Alyssa sputtered, glancing down at her feet. "M-my F-Framewerk hasn't b-been transferred here yet...b-but it's an artillery-based unit..." She continued, gradually calming down. "And that's fine by m-me if you want to play...go ahead, it's...not like it's m-mine..."

Paris chuckled, "Well, you're that good... You could practically claim it. I only know three songs. Here's my favourite" Paris smiled as he found the starting note. "If you know the song, or just know how to play along... play along as you may" Paris started softly,

He played this song as if he had played it every day of his life. It was a rather happier song, it was cheerful. Paris could apparently sing adequately well, considering he was singing the lyrics alongside it. He hit every note with grace and precision, landing each chord without a mistake. He didn't consider himself as a good musician, but he was definitely playing efficiently, even if he was rather modest. He smiled as he played the song, and hoped that the girl with no name as of yet was being cheered up. This song always made him rather cheerful, so as he played through he would be in a better mood every second, he would be happier. After he had ended his extravaganza, he looked at the girl. Orion was a funny bloke sometimes, his accent didn't always show through sometimes he sounded normal, but usually not.

As Alyssa listened to him play, she did start to feel better...gradually, and took a deep wreath to try and relax. He wasn't bad...sounded like he made a few slight errors here and there, but Alyssa couldn't really judge the song as she barely knew it, but had indeed heard it somewhere before. When he finished, she clapped her hands together as she thought people should commonly do to show their respect when someone else finishes a performance. Though even once she stopped clapping, she didn't really feel the need to say any thing and just smiled kindly at him to show her thanks.

"I hope that was rather, enticing." He looked around after he was finished, as if he was looking or thinking...
"Well, I presume we will be seeing each other more often." He looked at her, as if she was like everyone else on this ship, as they should be looked upon... As there own age, as a teenager, not a bloody soldier.
"Don't be afraid to talk to me. I wont bite" Paris was by now at the door, that entered the piano room. Paris did a goofy little bow, if he's being goofy it means he doesn't mind you.
"Well, miss... I will see you around. I shall be off!" His real self was actually showing for once, he was rather extravagant, collected thoughts... Calm, really calm... as if the world can wait for him. Paris winked as he was about to walk out the door, hopefully he cheered the girl up... He was only leaving because, she might've wanted to be alone, at least he was walking off as if he needed to go do something, which he didn't... He just didn't want to embarrass Alyssa for more than a bit. But he believed she needed it. He had a feeling, he'd be seeing her more often, especially off field.

"See you later then...and...thanks for cheering me up. You're not too bad." Spoke Alyssa to Orion when he stated he was going to leave, throwing in a little friendly taunt at the end while she waved farewell. Then, with Orion gone, Alyssa plopped back down onto the bench with a huff. That was really embarrassing... She thought, looking aimlessly around the room before her eyes settled on a number of the many other instruments available. She got up and walked over to them, casually examining one after the other...picking some of them up to get a better look, and to try and imagine herself using it. She considered the violin, the saxophone, the flute, and a few others before looking around the room to see a terminal. And having decided on trying out the violin, she made her way over to the terminal, and after reading the selections on the menu, she began interacting with it.

Several minutes passed by, with her simply exploring the interface, until she finally stepped back. In her exploration Alyssa had found that the speaker system, which fed into the recreational room, was turned on...so she made sure to turn it off before she switched over to a tutorial program. She stayed there for about another hour before she decided to wrap it up and go see if they were serving anything good at the mess hall. Only then did she learn about what happened between Koehler and Yeshua, and it only made her more afraid of what might happen in actual combat with the Cruxi. Will that sort of thing happen again? What if it happened out there, on the battlefield? What would happen to them? What would happen to me? What would happen to Elora? She worried, then paused. No, no...it'll be fine, Koehler will pull through just fine...and after that fight...they'll kick Yeshua out...yeah...it'll be fine, it won't happen again... Alyssa thought in an attempt to comfort herself as she went to her room and sat on the bed, completely unaware that, in truth, Yeshua wasn't going anywhere...he was there to stay, by whatever means deemed necessary...

playing the piano is ez yo.

However, I would reccomend a certain song I'll PM to you.

Im learning COLORS OP1 - Code Geass on piano.
Orion, had tried to sleep. It was redundant, he wouldn't be able to sleep. What had come over him?
It wasn't for him to just melt down, especially in-front of someone. I guess the memory of Kirsten, is just too much trauma for him.
Orion replayed the mock battle, over-and-over again. He just kept repeating it. It was the same thing each time, Elora gives up. She's had enough, it was all too much for her. It was exactly what Kirsten said before she died, something only known by him. Nobody else knew about Kirsten, in-fact it was a good idea to keep it that way. Orion decided to get up, maybe wander around a little bit. As Orion walked through into the Mess Hall, he decided to sit down a read through frame files.

He had specifically asked for the names of the pilots aswell as there profile to be excluded in the files he was given. So instead of using the servers database for frames, he used a chipset that was installed in his device. He could look at the Frames, with a moral respect for the privacy of other pilots, he'd rather meet them then just already know 40% about them. Orion methods were quite archaic when it came to socializing. He'd rather talk to someone upfront than, sitting behind a screen. Yet he has gotten used to the fact that, technology is probably the only way we are going to lead us into a victory. Not a mighty victory, nothing would be positive about this victory. It would be blood-stained, vicious and well downright inhumane.

Orion scrolled upon the Anzû Framewerk File. He had already known the name of the pilot, from Koehler. He looked through the information, scrolling down and up... analyzing everything he read. Like the majority of the frames, they all seemed like they actually belonged to the military, whilst ZEUS is more natural. Zeus's chassis flows like an actual body, unlike some of the Frames being quite robust and well man-made, man-made was the best way to describe it. This comes well known, considering that ZEUS is partially Cruxi.Orion sometimes felt guilt, that he was using something that was made from the ones who butchered his life apart.

"So Anzû, a rather mobile frame, would not of guessed flamethrowers. It would be rather hard to target, especially with a lightning bolt... though I could try and super-charge a focused bolt, make it fly at lightning speeds."

Orion thought about it and chuckled a bit.

"Hmm, I wonder if Yeshua is in the Mess Hall. I should talk to him about his Frame, I wonder if he noticed my Frames files being added to the database."

Orion thought. Orion switched his mind back to Elora for a second... he kept it in the back of his mind,

"How the hell did she just do that... remind him of her like that? How was it possible? Elora was a hell of a lot different to Kirsten, nothing alike... impossible."

Orion closed his device and leaned back against the wall, observing... everyone in the Mess Hall. He wondered who he would have the acquaintance of next, he couldn't wait to see them underestimate his ever so lovely childish demeanor, it was rather funny. There had only been one person, who treated Orion as if he wasn't a kid. That was Koehler, he wondered if there rooms were close to each other... Orion wondered alot. Orion lost his train of thought... and just decided to lean there, and relax... he needed to chill out.

Orion, was so busy. Checking every Frame File. He looked at every Frame, to make use of what they can do and can't do. He was so focused, he didn't realize the Koehler had gotten into a fight with Yeshua. Apparently something happened with Elora. Orion felt rather bad about that, he left Elora and she apparently got hurt again. Orion found that rather odd. It'd been a while Orion, seemed to be himself again. He wouldn't dare show that side of him again. It's the only time his mental state has nearly switched outside of battle. Back to Yeshua and Koehler.

By the time, Orion got through. Too many people blocked Orion's path, thus the fight must've moved somewhere else. By the end of the fight, Orion decided to walk back to his dorm, see if he had any gifts from close-friends who made it off, Delta. Orion was worried about Koehler apparently he took a beating from Yeshua. Orion didn't want to hurt anyone... He decided to get the full story, and sort it out like the adults they have to be, not supposed to, but forced to be put into a role of an adult.

Orion left the Mess Hall, he had a couple of thoughts on his mind, Koehler and Elora both being prominent.
He got most of his information from other cadets. Hopefully some of it was exaggerated.
