Lore

The setting is pretty simple actually, you see America in it's infinite glory had bitten off a bit more then it could chew. It needed it's imperialistic ways to sustain it's economy, but there were fewer and fewer under developed nations that could easily be brought under heel. Without these struggling third world bricks of the economy, America had started to stagnate, it's trillion dollar debt doubling, and even tripling. And when those nations it had borrowed it's money from had come to collect, there wasn't anyone to foot the bill.

Oh boy there was hell to pay.

We lost. Big time. In order to make up for the debt, and because the "Glorious Nippon" didn't want to deal with the crumbling infra-structure that was America, it was divided and sold to the highest bidder.

Or something like that, history was never my strongest subject in trideo school. Besides the Corps have scrubbed our history so clean no-one really knows what happened for sure. The long and short of it was America was broken up, and we were owned by billionaires with god complexes. At least we didn't have to deal with religion though! There's always a bright side right?

And now here we are, 60 years later in the year 2074, with our Cyber-Prosthetics, our Matrices, and our AI friends.

You and I, we're scientists right? We're supposed to know what the hell is going on but...

Apparently we fucked up, we didn't make a deadline, or something because there is a 5 man corp team that was sent here to liquidate us. The doors have been locked, and the message is clear.

No-one is getting out of this alive.

Anyways, if the lore was too confusing or you want the TL;DR. You're part of a 12 man scientist team, that didn't make deadline, now corpsec is "liquidating" you. Either you find the 5 corp spies, lynch them and escape, or they kill all of you. There is no middle ground.

Rules!

1.) Don't be a dick, this is pretty simple catch-all "you're being awful, get out" I'll find a replacement, or take-over your role. I don't need awful people.

2.) All Game Specific PM's have to have me invited as well, you can do group PMs and I love knowing whats going on behind the scenes. Not to mention, I can help you out with your roles or whatever. <3

3.) First come first serve.

4.) You've got 24 hours to let me know what you're doing, or else I'll take over your action and do it for you. Which will either involve RNG, or asking someone you've previously put on your "trust" list

5.) Have fun! I only put rules in case you were curious how things go, but mostly I want to get to know you! I like writing and doing things like this, hopefully you do to!

6.) This game shouldn't take too long, you'll be surprised how many people will die in a turn, this is on purpose because I don't really want this to take longer then a week or two.

7.) Bad guys vote to kill, so one person a night is murdered, and one person a day is murdered.

Good Guys!

Doctor :
Hey, even us drones get sick...

Every night, can protect one person from being killed.
The protection is effective even if the Doctor is killed.
The Doctor chooses at night

Bodyguard :
Protecting the company assets...

Every night, can choose one person to save from death.
There is a 50% chance the Bodyguard will kill the killer and a 50% chance they will die in place of the victim.

Private Investigations :
You're like a cop, but don't tell anyone that...

Investigates one person every night.
If you investigate someone the Face has flipped that night, they will seem like a scientist, if you investigate them afterwards they will show up as corpsec.

Camera-Peep
You like to watch people change... You should stop that.

Knows everyone who visited a person each night. For example, if you followed Scientist A, and he was killed by the Mafia, you'll see one Corp-Sec who was involved in the deed.
The Camera-Peep uses camera's, so he won't show up to our next role, the Stalker.

Stalker
You're that greasy guy who is in the back of everyone's photos...

He sees everyone that guy visits. Because he's following. So if he decided to stalk Scientist A, and Scientist A saved Scientist B after he got mortally wounded, the stalker would know Scientist A was also a doctor. If he followed a corpsec, and that corpsec used his power, well the Stalker would be the only witness to what happened.

No-body can betray you!

Stops the Face from flipping people, also the turn coat. That's it really, it's your job to make sure the face/turn coat is completely useless.

The Unstable Face
Jeeze man are you ok? You've been acting weird all night.

You love someone on the scientist's side dearly. You love them so much you struck a deal, you'll trade your life for someone else's. You betrayed the scientists to the corps, and so now you're going to try and make it right.

You sacrifice yourself to flip another player to the corpsec side, unless that player is visited the same night by a shrink.

You would never hurt a fly... would you?

The Innocent can't be detected by personal investigator. You can still be watched, and you can still be tracked though.
