Current My roleplay is all tabletop these days, and the part of the guild I used to hang out in doesn't exist anymore. To my friends from this site, I will think of you, and maybe I'll see you again someday.

To my friends from chat: I guess I'll see you around, since I'm still not using discord.

I don't actively RP on the site these days, but I might be convinced to come back if there's a cool fantasy or sci-fi group RP that can capture my interest. Catch me on Second Life, Wildstar, or Chat.

My life has gotten really chaotic. I'll be back to RPing when I can.

I need a good generic fantasy RP, but I can't find one.

<Snipped quote by Primal Conundrum>

It was in my friends D&D book, he told me about them. They get no racial benefits because they get all negative and positive effects from the two races and -1 Charisma for being Elan

That sure as hell ain't from any edition of D&D I've ever played. They had racial stats of their own in 3.0, 3.5 and Pathfinder.
I've actually never seen anything about them being a blend of two species. Everything I saw about Elans is that they're normal people who underwent a ritual performed by other Elan to transform them into one, with nothing said that it's a mash together of two races.
A part-fey spellcaster would also work, like a human that has some faerie blood a few generations back.

I would like to join if you don't mind a full-blooded orc to be part of the village. Don't worry, he isn't blood thirty... Anymore. He'll likely retire as a hunter or blacksmith, or some sort of forester/handy orc. Though I'll likely be running two characters, a strange father/daughter pair consisting of said orc as the father and likely a half-elf as the daughter. Half elf, half orc.

Obvious problem there is that it sounds like you're making a character who lives in the village, when the RP story is apparently focused on the people running the town, and less so on the people in it.
It sounds like you're going with D&D style stuff? How about I play an Elan, that's a D&D race. They're basically psionically charged humans, they're rated as being as powerful as humans so it's still balanced.
So kinda curious if non-standard races could be played for this. I mean, human, elves, dwarves, whatever, standard fantasy races, but what about like lizardfolk or kobold or gnolls? Can we play those, if we have a good story?
I'm still here and I'm interested, just weighing my options and trying to come up with a mech design / point distribution that I like.
So... is this still in the works?
This sounds super cool and I'd love to be a part of it.
Sorry about how long it took me to post. As you may have noticed, Chak kinda invents her own names for people.
