And that way it would count towards a credit for whatever diploma they were going for. So Chinese could be a language option for the school, and Mulan could test out of it?
Sure, that sounds good. I just couldn't imagine her doing well in any of the usual language classes, since she already has two very different languages in her brain.
I'll probably have a class schedule for Mulan up... Eventually.
I do have a question about it though. I was home schooled my entire life (Not due to illness, my mom just hated public school), so I'm not sure how the school system works. Would Mulan be required to take a language class when she already knows two languages, Chinese and English?

Nickname(s): Captain China (A play on Captain America, she is called this due to her habit of protecting those who can't defend themselves)

Personality: Courageous and independent, she isn't afraid to stand up to bullies or be different. Add outspoken and bold to that and you have a nasty combination. Stubborn and determined, with a strong sense of justice. Despite a tough exterior she is still kind hearted and caring. She's also very protective of people and wouldn't hesitate to jump into a fight in order to make sure the bullied don't get hurt. She takes martial arts very seriously and will only use it as a means of defense, her sense of honor doesn't allow her to attack first. She's hard working and diligent, even if she doesn't like a subject in school, she'll always try her hardest.
Background: Mulan was born in China and lived there most of her life. She only moved out to America the summer between middle school and high school. She's from a long line of warriors who train in both weaponry and martial arts. And though the swordsmanship is mostly for traditional purposes, she does still train in both. As the only child of the Fa family it will one day be her duty to take over her family dojo here in America.
Hobbies/Facts/Orientation: Mulan loves nothing more than to swing around a sword or practice her martial arts forms. The style of martial arts her family is known for is call Shaolin Chuan Fa, or Shaolin Kempo. A style that I have trained in for ten years, so I'm not just pulling something out of my ass here, I know what I'm talking about. Mulan is bisexual, she doesn't care about gender, love is love. She is almost always seen wearing a pendant made of jade and gold that's been in her family for generations.
