Like, realistically, most countries we know and love/hate probably wouldn't survive the next couple centuries, let alone another millennium. And English as a language would likely not exist as anything like it's current form, but I'm guessing none of us are linguists who can construct an extrapolation of English's evolution over several centuries on the fly
