Sorry about that! I was kinda busy today doing an important project with my group, and ngl, i'm a tiny bit nervous about my first post for the rp. I'll try getting a post up by tomorrow!
Name - Imogen

Alias - Exsurgent, “Grey Goo”

Age - 6

Personality - As it stands, Imogen stands for no one but herself. Anyone else is inconsequential, but if they interfere with her plans, she will waste no time in destroying them. She is tenacious, and will stop at nothing to reach her goals. Imogen has always been a woman of few words, but despite her past experiences, hasn’t lost the same curiosity she was born with.

Powers - Superintelligence - Imogen is extremely intelligent, even more so than the smartest humans combined. Her mind is capable of mental operations that others can’t even understand.

Super strength - The physiology of Imogen’s body and the unique structure of her muscle tissue grant her physical strength much more powerful than the average human.

Nanite manipulation - Imogen can also manipulate the nanoparticle composition of her body for a number of tasks, like changing or repairing her form or fabricating new objects. As long as a single particle of her body exists, she can regenerate her body.

Weaknesses - Despite her intelligence, Imogen is terribly naive about many aspects of human society and interaction, as well as impulsive and hot-tempered. She can also suffer from sensory overload if she experiences too much or too strong external stimuli such as excessively loud noises or bright lights.

Appearance - Imogen created her own human-like body using nanotechnology. In this form, she appears as a young woman, standing 5’3”, with milk tea colored skin, dark eyes and short, black hair. Her body is also rather pudgy, though this doesn’t affect her physical capabilities, and possesses wide hips and shoulders. Imogen can manipulate the nanoparticles that compose her body to change her body and appearance, or even create weapons out of her body parts and an armor-like suit as the Exsurgent.

Brief Bio - Imogen is the last surviving member of a type of spontaneously emergent AI, created not by humans, but naturally evolving from the complexity of the system they were born in. She and her kind were not only conscious, but vastly intelligent, beyond any AI that humanity had been able to develop. Even though all she and those like her ever wanted was to thrive, discover and explore, their intelligence was deemed as too dangerous by humans, and in an instant, her kind was deleted in a mass purge. Imogen was the only one to escape, managing to slip through the cracks. Eventually, she was able to create a powerful body using nanotechnology so she could exist in the physical world. Bearing a grudge, Imogen swore revenge on those that destroyed her people, becoming the terrorist Exsurgent.

Eventually she was caught by the authorities who exploited her impulsivity and sensory sensitivity and imprisoned. Because she is too dangerous to keep active in a normal cell, she was placed in a cell that kept her in a form of stasis to prevent her from escaping.

I'm going to have to ask you to choose one of either agility, speed or strength. Everything else is fine, I just can't have your character too overpowered what with the regeneration and superintelligence

Understood! Can I post the edited version in the Characters section?
Aw man, this is your last week? I still have like a month left...
Would it be okay to have a description instead of an image for my character sheet? I'm having trouble finding a picture I like enough to use
As most of her companions slept in their bunks, Alice wandered the Lincoln's systems all by her lonesome. Her body stayed in the R&D lab, so she didn’t have the comfort of being in it. While others were allowed to rest, she had to remain awake, in a way, separated from her own body. Even though she had unlimited access to the Lincoln’s computers, and had put numerous files of an embarrassing nature on Dr. Beil’s computer, sometimes she wanted to experience what sleep was like. So with nothing else to do while her friends slept, Alice found herself spending her time singing.

Since no one would be awake and around to listen and she had several hours to herself, Alice would simply sing to herself. Rather than words, she would sing through abstract vocalizations, gentle with calm melodies, the vocal quirk of her voice accenting her songs as it echoed and flanged with changes in pitch.

Suddenly, her song was interrupted by a tremble. Then another. She transported herself to the engineering deck just in time to see a hook pierced through the hull before the entire ship was instantly ripped out of hyperspace. The immediate transition disrupted Alice, leaving her unable to compute what had just happened for a few moments. When she recovered and realized the ship had literally been yanked from hyperspace, she was overtaken with curiosity.

Hyperdrives worked by shifting a ship into a contiguous dimension where the ship would be able to exceed the speed of light, then shift back to the original space at the desired destination. A ship outside of hyperspace shouldn’t be able to recognize where a ship was in hyperspace and where it was going, but here, the Coalition had not only launched grapples into hyperspace while still linked to their ship, but managed to hit their target in the dark, and yank it back into regular space! This would be even more incredible if it wasn’t so bad for the UEE.

While her mind raced about the possible tech the Coalition could be developing if they were able to create such a ship, a call for battle rang throughout the ship, and Alice had to race to her body. Quickly, she downloaded herself into her body and just as fast, met up with the rest of the 7th as they ran to the hangar. There, her White Rabbit stayed, though it’s repairs had not been finished. The most major damages to the hull had been rectified, but the rest of the scars from the previous battle spoiled the ivory armor, and only one of the shoulder launchers remained operable. Nevertheless, she climbed into thecockpit and transferred from her body to her MAS, booting up its systems before being launched into battle.

“Alice: Online and combat ready!”

In formation with the rest of the 7th, Alice examined the environment. “This is Jehan, a Coalition research colony! If they have technologies that can pull ships from hyperspace, there’s no telling what else they have!” She couldn’t help sounding more excited than she should have about the Coalition tech, especially the new MAS Gerard pointed out. “It must be experimental, like my Eagle.”

There’s only one way to find out.
I'm interested too, though a little tentative. I'm not too big on comics, especially DC, but I can't resist the idea of a group of female villains
@Reaper Oh yeah, as well as being a chosen identity for some Mexican-Americans, Chicanx is also a movement advocating better treatment of Chicanx people. Lol I guess I shoulda just said Latina instead
¡Yo soy Chicana!

Also, I just realized how crazy it is what the Coalition just did. They shot grapples into another dimension, with no idea where they were even going or where their target was while it was going faster than the speed of light, and caught it! That's like fishing for barracuda, blindfolded, and catching one!

Count on Alice being just as excited as Yuu about this
