As Lanayru investigated from the loft, it was clear that something was wrong. Her heart sank as she realized that Ganon's men had finally arrived at Lon Lon Ranch, putting the squeeze on the peaceful place that had given shelter when nobody else would. Inigo was quick to expel her from the ranch, and Malon seemed powerless to help this time. Her eyes widened as she took in the chaotic scene that was unfolding. The animals were frenzied, their panicked cries filling the barn as the malice from Ganon's men tainted Lon Lon Ranch. Lanayru's fear of the Stalfos intensified, but she knew she couldn't just stand idly by. She had to act fast to escape.

With a quick and quiet determination, she did as she was told and packed her belongings, not daring to take a a watchful eye away from the barn entrance. Ganon's minions were focused on their mission outside, but Lanayru knew it was only a matter of time before they would come looking for her or anyone else who lived on the ranch. She had to make her escape before they took over.

Lanayru tried to comfort a horse, stroking its mane as she thought of what to do next. With all the animals in such an uproar, this could be the only chance. With urgency, Lanayru unbarred the barn door and began letting the animals loose. She singled out a horse, one that she had managed to calm, and decided to use it to flee.

As she mounted the horse, she knew she would have to ride bareback. Before Grindan could make his decision, a stampede of horses and cows burst into the pasture from the barn door. Lanryu’s blue hair flew among the stampede, and in the confusion from the animals the blue maiden was able to slip away unnoticed. She made her way to the north-east wall, using the stolen horse to jump over it and escape the chaos of the ranch.

As she galloped away, Lanayru couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt. She had abandoned her friend Malon, leaving her to face Ganon's minions alone. But she knew that she had to do what was necessary to survive. "Sorry, Malon," she whispered to herself as Lon Lon Ranch disappeared into the distance.

As the sun began to set, Lanayru made her way to Lon Lon Ranch, hoping to find a place to rest for the night. Unfortunately, she was low on funds due to being on the run, and Ranch didn't even have an inn. She approached a field field, remembering that her charm and persuasiveness had helped her in tough spots before, but the field hand, Inigo, angrily informed her that there were no squatters allowed on the ranch.

"Please, I just need a place to rest for the night," Lanayru pleaded.

"I'm sorry, miss, but rules are rules. No freeloaders on the ranch." Inigo replied firmly. As he walked away, the Blue Maiden could hear him muttering something else under his breath. "Unless you own the place."

Feeling disheartened, Lanayru was relieved when a girl of a similar age came to her rescue. She intruded herself as Malon, and she was the owner's daughter. Malon kindly offered her a spot in one of the lofts for the night, even apologizing that she couldn't offer better accommodations.

"Thank you so much, Malon. This is more than enough," Lanayru said gratefully. "I really appreciate your kindness."

"No problem at all. I hate to see anyone in need," Malon replied with a smile. "Good night."

As she settled into the loft, Lanayru realized that the smell in the barn was pretty bad. But she had come prepared, having picked some wildflowers along the way to help with the smell. Situations like this were becoming more frequent. After making a bed out of fresh hay, Lanayru relaxed and took some time to herself.

As she settled in, Lanayru couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness and nostalgia wash over her. The straw pillow was a far cry from the luxurious bedding she was used to as a noble. But she didn't dwell on it for long, her thoughts quickly turning to the state of the world under Ganon's rule. Inigo may have been rude, but Malon and her Father seemed kind and fair. Not everyone is bad. This Ranch hadn't fallen under his influence.

As she yawned for the night, Lanayru wove a crown of blue nightshade flowers that she had collected, enjoying the calming act of creating before bed. Suddenly, a commotion outside caught her attention. She swung open the loft door to investigate, ready for whatever lay ahead.

Can new characters still pop in?
@Dark CloudForever Spontaneously over the course of an unset time*.
Forever
Boomhauer grinned as Dale continued to praise Joseph. It was very touching to see someone with so much love for their child. If only Hank could show the same dedication to Bobby. It was about this time that John Redcorn drove by, stopping in front of Dale's house to take care of Nancy's headaches. The Texas ranger could only shake his head to hide his disgust

"Joseph. Dang ol' Block captain election." Boomhauer tried to suggest to Dale before turning and looking Hank in the eyes and taking another sip of Beer.

Boomhauer helped their new neighbor get a beer. "Dang, y'know welcome ol rainy street." Digging into the cooler, he retrieved a cold beer and tossed it to Paige, but it was a bad throw and a little high.
I haven't delved in Shaman King for some time, but I loved the original series. I'm interested in this. Does a Scandinavian character with a Norse God themed spirit sound doable?
Boomhauer manuevered himself between Bill and Hank, in the event Bill kept running his mouth. "Dang it, Redcorn ain't doing yoga with nancy, man, but yeah man I tell ya what, them chicks doing yoga down there at the dang ol' Arlen Mall. I seen em' do that...human pretzel."

He took a sip of beer, finishing the last of his can. "A lot of creeps like Bill down there man. Not good. Not good."
