in that case ill go ahead and start my character sheet :P
I'm currently thinking of creating a character for this, but I just want to make sure that it isnt a bad time for a new character to come into the mix, would that be ok?
Dominic noticed that the guy was getting nervous from his knife, so to calm him down he decided to sheathe it for now, ready to take back out should they come across something that wasnt as friendly. Free introduced herself as she gazed at the strange markings on the walls, her eyes seeming to not want to tear away from them. He wasnt all too interested in trying to read something that he knew nothing about, so he let the excitement stay with her.

"Dominic" he said to Aarne, his voice blunt and gruff as he shielded his face from the glow of the blue orb. Damn that thing was bright. If only he had a pair of shades or something. "Any idea where we are?" he asked Aarne, looking around the strange room they had found themselves in. He figured that if the light would provide visibility, he might as well take a look around and see what may be of some use to them. He walked along the perimeter of the room keeping an eye out for any kind of switch or door.
Just as Dominic had heard the voice calling back to him, the shine of a blue orb entered his field of vision. He flinched from the sudden increase in light, as his pupils had been dilated in their attempt at trying to accustom to the pitch black that he was wandering in. Soon enough his vision cleared and he saw what must have been one of the more curious things he had seen since coming here. Though his immediate thought to the orb was just some hocus pocus trick, a quick inspection of the light cleared any doubts that this was indeed not a trick. It began to move and Dominic followed, giving a glance back to see if Free was still there before pressing onward.

He had no idea what this thing was leading him to, but as of right now, he had two options, follow his now lighted path and see where he was lead, or stumble around in the darkness until he killed over from hunger. He chose the first option and continued to follow the light until it came to a stop in a hallway with many strange hieroglyphs. The light intensified slightly and his attention was drawn to the source of the voice that was calling out. He gave a dry grunt as he said bluntly, "Not my light. Just gotta get used to it."
@ProfessorNVI'll give him a nudge next time I see him. ^^;

"Hey, maybe no one just spent enough time with you so you can learn. I'll teach you all there is to know about living among humans now, and dont worry, I promise you wont be trapped in that temple anymore. I am sure we can find what makes me happy." Said Marcus, his heart dropping as he saw her tears. He beamed at her with a big smile, hoping to cheer her up as he said to her "How about this, I will show you around the town and help you get accustomed to how things are now, we cant get started until you get properly oriented with the town! What do you say?"

Dominic stopped as he heard the voice calling out from the darkness, sounding like it had come from a lower level but due to the sheer emptiness of the building, the voice bounced all along the walls, making it seem like it was coming from all directions. He made his way further into the inky blackness of the building, trying his best not to trip on the steps as he walked closer toward the source of the noise. He reached an area where the floor leveled off and he could walk normally, still keeping his left hand against the wall and the other gripped onto his knife.

He almost wanted to ask Free if she were still there, but her footsteps told him she was still following, so he pressed onward, feeling his way along the walls, the only sound now was the tapping of his boots on the hard floor.

"Who's there?" he called out, trying to locate the voice once more. If someone was in danger then he might as well see if he can help, he wasnt heartless after all.
